INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the PALMER TIMEPRESSOR pedal.
This unique delay plus compressor combo provides an astonishing
range of echo sounds from classic doubling and slapback to a whole
new universe of unusual sonic spaces.
Utilizing old-school bucket brigade technology the analog delay sec-
tion is capable of perfectly recreating the natural warmth and lo-fi
vibe of vintage tape echoes with a maximum delay time of 700ms.
The compressor is switchable pre or post delay. This exclusive fea-
ture permits custom tweaking of the original and delayed signals for
startling new soundscapes. With its amazing possibilities and rich
tone the TIMEPRESSOR is for the adventurous and retro-minded alike.
PLEASE NOTE: Maxing out the delay time and repeat settings will re-
sult in signal degradation and noise. This is by no means a defect
and inherent in the pedal design which is all-analog using a bucket
brigade delay line. The benefits of this old-school technology are
the smooth coloration and increasingly diffuse decay of real-world
echo or a vintage tape unit. For pristine, high-fidelity repeats
use a digital delay.

PANEL DESCRIPTION
FRONT
1RATE
This controls the delay time up to a maximum of 700ms when fully
clockwise.
2REPEAT
This controls the number of delay repeats from a single slapback to
infinite oscillation when fully clockwise.
3TONE
This controls the tone of the delayed signal. Clockwise rotation
adds brightness, counterclockwise rotation increases treble roll-
off adding natural warmth. In center position the delayed signal
remains unaffected.
4MIX
This controls the wet/dry ratio of the original and delayed signals
from delay only (fully counterclockwise) to original signal only
(fully clockwise). In center position equal amounts of the original
and delayed signals are fed to the output.
5THRESHOLD
This controls the amount of compression from zero (fully counter-
clockwise) to maximum (fully clockwise).
6LEVEL
This controls the output level of the pedal from zero (fully coun-
terclockwise) to unity (center position) to a massive boost (fully
clockwise).

7FOOTSWITCH
This toggles the pedal on/off. When off the pedal’s circuitry is
completely removed from the signal path (true bypass).
8LED
When lit the pedal is on. This also serves as a battery level indi-
cator.
REAR
9IN
Using a quality instrument cable with 1/4” plugs connect your gui-
tar to this jack.
10 9V DC INPUT
Connect an optional 9V DC power supply to this socket. For details
please refer to “POWER REQUIREMENTS”.
11 PRE/POST PUSHBUTTON
This switches the compressor before (pre) or after (post) the delay
providing unique control of the delay trail level and decay.
12 OUT
Using a quality instrument cable with 1/4” plugs connect this jack
to the input of your guitar amplifier or the next stompbox in your
signal chain.
