This product must only be used in accordance with the instructions
stated in this manual.
Purpose
The purpose of this user manual is to provide an understanding of how the equipment should be
used and an awareness of potential risks.
Basic requirements
These instructions must first be read and understood for the user to be able to benefit from and
the use equipment properly.
The user manual should be kept available for all users of the product.

Intended use
This product is intended for protection against droplets and splashes of liquid when testing and
working with patients/consumers within health and medical services.
Product guarantee
The product has a one-year guarantee from the date it is first removed from its packaging and
assembled. Expected shelf life is approximately 15 months and should not be used after this time
after manufacturing date.
Product limitations
PLEASE NOTE:
Do not leave the visor in direct sunlight as it affected by prolonged exposure to
UV rays.

Description of usage
How to assemble
The following describes how to assemble and use the ProFront™protective visor correctly:
Step 1:
Remove the head band and the visor
from the packaging (see picture to
the right).
Step 2:
Attach the middle hole on the visor to
the hook on the middle of the head
band (see picture to the right).
Step 3:
Next, bend the visor and attach each of
the outer holes to their hooks on the
headband (see picture to the right).

Step 4:
Finally, put the ProFront™ protective
visor on your head. The head band
should be positioned directly above
your eyebrows. Adjust the angle of
the visor by moving the rear part of
the head band up or down for the
best fit (see picture to the right).
PLEASE NOTE: Always check that the
ProFront™ protective visor
is correctly positioned
before starting work.
Step 5:
To remove the visor without the risk
of getting the contagion on your
hands:
Take hold the rear hooks, pull them
carefully outwards and remove the
visor in a forward direction (see
picture to the right).
Thereafter follow conventional
hygiene routines such as carefully
washing and/or disinfecting your
hands afterwards.

Care and maintenance instructions
PLEASE NOTE:
The ProFront™ protective visor is not intended for long-term usage, but it can be re-used
provided that the visor has adequate visibility and has not in any way been damaged.
Maintain and re-use the ProFront™ protective visor as follows:
1. Disinfect your hands with hand
sanitizer.
2. Put on a pair of protective gloves.
3. Disinfect the visor and head band
with a disinfectant that contains a
surfactant.
4. Hang the visor up or place it so that it
can dry off, alternatively, dry it with a
sterile single-use wipe.

5. Store the dry disinfected visor in a
clean plastic bag until it is next used.
6. Remove the protective gloves.
7. Finally, disinfect your hands with
hand sanitizer.
Delivery instructions
ProFront™ protective visor comes in
boxes of 200 complete visors. Keep the
visors in their packaging until they are
to be used. One (1) user manual is
packed in each box and it must be kept
available for all users of the visors.
Storage instructions
•Visors should be stored carefully to avoid any risk of any external damage.
•Avoid storing the visors in direct sunlight.

Recycling
Once the visor has been used, it should be dismantled in reverse order, per the earlier description for
assembly.
The visor and the head band should be recycled as hard plastic, according to applicable local
recycling rules.
