Panasonic’s new permanent-installation LCD projectors – PT-FW100NTU,
PT-F100NTU, and PT-F100U – feature Panasonic’s advanced Auto Rolling
Filter (ARF) and lamp drive technologies for longer-lasting performance. The
result is a line of projectors that maintain superior brightness. Functions
like Lens Shift and the 2x zoom also make the projectors easy to use when
mounted to a ceiling or placed on a shelf. These high-performance models
are perfect for either new or replacement projector use.
Auto Rolling Filter (ARF)
The PT- PT-FW100NTU, PT-F100NTU, and PT-F100U automatically detect
when dust accumulates on the high-efficiency electrostatic filter and impairs
performance. The affected section of the filter is wound into the casing,
and an unused filter material is
automatically put in the airflow
path so top filtering performance
is continually maintained. The Auto
Rolling Filter combines with a
totally re-engineered airflow path
and a hermetic, dust-free optical
system design to ensure that the
projector is always clean. This
minimizes any brightness loss
due to dust accumulation.

• The projector uses a high-voltage mercury lamp that contains high internal pressure. This lamp
may break, emitting a large sound, or fail to illuminate, due to impact or extended use. The
length of time that it takes for the lamp to break or fail to illuminate varies greatly depending
on individual lamp characteristics and usage conditions.
• The brightness of the lamp will gradually decrease with use.
• The projector includes consumable parts. The frequency of replacement for the lamp and other
consumable parts will increase if the projector is subjected to extended, continuous use. For
details, please consult a service representative.
