Tabletop Digital Scale DS-2
SET UP:
The DS-2 Tabletop Digital Scale is shipped ready for use. The only set up
required is to remove the protective strip from the battery compartment
before using for the first time.
OPERATION:
• Place DS-2 on a firm, level surface.
• Press and release . Wait until display reads “0”.
• Press to switch display between weight units.
• Place item to be weighed on DS-2.
• Read weight on display.
• Press and hold to turn DS-2 off. The DS-2 has an auto shut-off that
will turn the unit off after 60 seconds of inactivity.
TARE FEATURE:
When a container is needed to hold the item(s) being weighed (e.g. fluid, ball
bearings, etc.), the DS-2’s tare feature can be used to eliminate the weight of
the container. After turning the scale on, place empty container on platform
and wait for the weight of the container to be displayed. Press and release
the and the scale will reset to “0”. Place item(s) in the container and the
weight of the item(s) will be displayed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Handle with care to avoid damage to internal parts. Avoid exposure to dirt,
moisture, and extreme temperatures.
Clean with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use water or cleaning solutions.
The DS-2 has a 3000 gram capacity (3 Kg, 106 oz.). “EEEE” will appear in the
display if the capacity is exceeded.
The DS-2 is designed to be accurate to the following:
• 2 g/ 1000 g
• 2 g/ 2000 g
• 3 g/ 3000 g
The DS-2 uses a 3V lithium battery (CR2032). A (+ -) symbol will appear in the
display when the battery needs to be replaced.
Remove battery if DS-2 will not be used for an extended period.
DS-2 Balance d’Atelier
MISE EN ROUTE :
La balance d’atelier DS-2 est livrée prête à l’emploi. Vous n’avez qu’à ôter le
film protecteur du compartiment à pile avant la première utilisation.
MODE D’EMPLOI :
• Placer le DS-2 sur une surface stable et plane.
• Effectuer une pression sur le bouton . Attendre que l’écran affiche
“0”.
• Utiliser le bouton pour passer d’une unité de mesure à l’autre.
• Placer l’objet à peser sur le DS-2.
• Lire l’affichage digital.
• Garder le bouton enfoncé pour éteindre le DS-2. Le DS-2 est pourvu
d’un système de coupure automatique qui éteindra l’appareil après 60
secondes d’inactivité.
FONCTION TARE (MESURE COMPENSÉE) :
Lorsqu’un récipient est nécessaire pour contenir les pièces à peser (billes
de roulements, fluide, etc.), la fonction tare du DS-2 peut être utilisée pour
compenser le poids du récipient. Après avoir mis le DS-2 sous tension, placez
le récipient vide et attendez que le poids de celui-ci s’affiche. Effectuez une
pression sur le bouton de façon à remettre la balance à “0”. Placer les
pièces à peser dans le récipient et le poids de ceux-ci s’affichera.
INFORMATION IMPORTANTE :
Manipulez avec précaution pour éviter de provoquer des dommages sur
des pièces internes. Evitez l’exposition à la poussière, l’humidité et les
températures extrêmes.
Nettoyez avec un chiffon sec et doux. N’utilisez pas d’eau ou de produits
nettoyants.
Le DS-2 a une capacité maximale de 3000gram (3Kg, 106 oz). Le message
“EEEE” apparaitra si cette capacité est dépassée.
Le DS-2 permet des mesures avec les précisions suivantes :
• 2 g/ 1000 g
• 2 g/ 2000 g
• 3 g/ 3000 g
Le DS-2 utilise une pile lithium de 3V (CR2032). Un symbole (+ -) apparaît sur
l’écran digital lorsque la pile doit être remplacée.
Pensez à retirer la pile si vous n’utilisez pas le DS-2 pour une longue période.

DS-2 Tischwaage
AUFBAU:
Die DS-2 Tischwaage wird gebrauchsfertig ausgeliefert, es muss nur vor der
ersten Benutzung der Schutzstreifen an den Batterien entfernt werden.
INBETRIEBNAHME:
• Die DS-2 auf einer geraden, ebenen Fläche aufstellen.
• Drücken und loslassen . Warten bis auf dem Display “0” angezeigt wird.
• Drücken um auf dem Display zwischen den Gewichtseinheiten
zu wechseln.
• Das zu wiegende Teil auf die Waage legen.
• Das auf dem Display angezeigte Gewicht ablesen.
• Drücken und halten um die DS-2 auszuschalten. Die DS-2 hat eine
automatische Aus-Schaltung, die nach 60 Sekunden aktiviert wird.
TARA FUNKTION:
Wenn ein Behältnis notwendig ist, um ein Teil (s) zu wiegen (z.B.
Flüssigkeit, Kugeln etc.), hat die DS-2 eine Tara Funktion um das Gewicht
des Behälnisses nicht mitzuwiegen. Nach dem Einschalten der Waage das
leere Behältnis auf die Waage legen und warten bis das Gewicht angezeigt
wird. Drücken und loslassen und die Waage geht zurück auf “0”. Nun
die Teile (s) in das Behältnis legen und das Gewicht der Teile ohne das
Behältnis wird angezeigt.
WICHTIGE INFORMATION:
Die Waage vorsichtig behandeln und vor Beschädigungen schützen. Vor
Schmutz, Feuchtigkeit und extremen Temperaturen schützen.
Mit trockenem, sauberen Tuch reinigen. Kein Wasser oder
Reinigungsflüssigkeiten benutzen.
Die Kapazität der DS-2 ist 3000 Gram (3 Kg, 106 oz.). “EEEE” wird angezeigt,
wenn das Gewicht darüber liegt.
Die DS-2 arbeitet mit der Genauigkeit wie folgt:
• 2 g/ 1000 g
• 2 g/ 2000 g
• 3 g/ 3000 g

PREPARACIÓN:
La DS-2 Bascula Digital esta lista para su uso. Lo único que se necesita para
empezar a usarla es retirar la tira de platico protectora del compartimiento
de baterías al usarla por primera vez.
OPERACIÓN:
• Coloquela DS-2 en una superficie plana y firme.
• Oprima el botón de encendido . Espere a que en la pantalla aparezca “0”.
• Oprima el botón para cambiar las unidades de peso.
• Coloque el objeto a pesar en el DS-2.
• Lea el peso en la pantalla.
• Mantenga presionado el botón para apagar el DS-2. El DS-2 activa un
auto apagado cuando la unidad esta en inactividad por mas de 60 segundos.
FUNCION TARE:
Cuando se utiliza un recipiente (por ejemplo para líquidos, baleros, etc)
se requiere eliminar el peso del mismo. El DS-2 tiene la función tare para
hacerlo. Para utilizar esta función retire el recipiente de la base y vacié el
contenido. Coloque el recipiente vació sobre la base y encienda la bascula
y observe el peso en la pantalla. Oprima el botón de encendido y se
reiniciara a “0”. Coloque los objetos en el recipiente de nuevo hasta que
aparezca el peso en la pantalla.
INFORMACION IMPORTANTE:
Maneje la DS-2 con cuidado para evitar daños internos
en sus partes, Evite exponerla a la suciedad, humedad y temperaturas
extremas.
Limpie la DS-2 con un paño suave y seco. No use agua o soluciones
limpiadoras.
La DS-2 tiene una capacidad de 3000 gramos (3 Kgms/106 Oz), Cuando
Aparece “EEEE” en la pantalla la capacidad se ha excedido.
La DS-2 tiene los siguientes márgenes de exactitud (+ -):
