SPARK LXi2Charging Station

Introduction
The PS-3602ASPARK LXi2Charging Station provides
an organized way to charge a class set of SPARK
LXi2dataloggers. Up to six SPARK LXi2dataloggers
can be charged simultaneously.The dataloggers are
held in place by a wire rack inside of a Gratnells®
case.The built-inpower supply includes six USB
cables which connect to the charging port of the
SPARK LXi2dataloggers. The charging station is
powered by a single cord that connects to an electric
receptacle.
Operation
1. Connect the power cord toan electric receptacle.
2. Connect a USB cable to the USB-C port of a
SPARK LXi2datalogger.
3. Insert the SPARK LXi2datalogger into the
wire rack with the headphone jack facing down.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for up to five additional
SPARK LXi2dataloggers. Note that
the dataloggers are inserted in alternating
directions into the wire rack (Figure 1).

Battery charging status
When connected to power, the LED on each SPARK
LXi2indicates the charging status of the datalogger:
LED Color
Charging Status
Yellow
Battery is charging
Green
Battery is fully charged
Storage
The charging station should remain uncovered while the
dataloggers are charging to prevent heat buildup
(Figure 2). The dataloggers can be stored in the charging
station for long periods of time without harming the
battery. When the battery is fully charged, the datalogger
will stop charging.

The cover may be placed on the charging station when
the dataloggers are not charging. Do not stack any item
on top of the charging station to prevent damage. Multiple
SPARK LXi2Charging Stations can be stored
together using the EP-3574 2-Column Gratnells Rolling
Cart or the EP-3575 3-Column Gratnells Rolling Cart.
Four charging stations can be stored in the 2-Column
Cart and six charging stations can be stored in the 3-
Column cart.
