1Type plate
The type plate clearly identifies the product. The type plate is located on the side of the casing next to the
electrical connections. The information on the type plate is necessary for the safe use of the product and in
case of service-related questions. The type plate must be permanently attached to the product.

2Principal configuration of the system
The basic configuration of the system is universally valid and does not represent the system
outline of the project-related ventilation plant! It is designed for representation of the plant-
specific system structure for sensors and ventilation equipment.

3Replacement of the filters
3.1 Replacement of the filters of the device
1. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
2. If applicable, pull the red design filter cover out of the casing cover’s holder.

3. Grasp into the recessed grip of the filter compartment.
4. Remove the EPP filter cover.

5. Pull the filter out of the filter compartment by holding it on the strap.
6. Package the filters in a sealed bag and put this in the residual waste.

7. Insert the new filter with regard to the flow direction.
The arrow on the filter frame and the arrow impressed into the EPP filter compartment (next
to the recessed grip) must point in the same direction!
Pollen filters must be inserted into the filter compartment of the outside air connection
depending on the type of device in accordance with the type plate! The intake air connection
is marked with the symbol on the label air connections.
8. Close all filter covers in reverse order.
9. Proceed in the same manner for the other device filter.
10. Re-establish the mains connection.

3.2 Resetting the filter run-time
Once the filter has been changed, the timer for the filter run-time must be reset. Depending on the
connected control element, the following steps must be carried out for that purpose.
1. Resetting the filter run-time by means of the LED control panel

Description of the reset procedure
If the remaining run-time of the filter is less than 10 days, the LED lit up in red
above the key Filter change blinks briefly at an interval of 3 s. If the LED is
permanently lit up in red, this indicates that the filter must be checked.
By pressing this key for at least 3 s, the filter run-time is reset. The LED goes off.
The timer starts the set filter run-time.

Description of the reset procedure
If the remaining run-time of the filter is less than 10 days, the colour of the
filter symbol turns from grey to yellow. If the filter run-time has expired, the
colour turns from yellow to red and a status signal is displayed in addition,
signalling that the filter must be checked.
By touching the button Menu mode, you reach the main menus.
Select the main menu Settings by touching the Navigation buttons and confirm
by pressing the Enter button.
Select the submenu Filter by touching the Navigation buttons and confirm by
pressing the Enter button.
By touching the Checkmark button, resetting of the filter run-time is selected.
Confirm by pressing the Enter button.
By touching the Cancel / back button, exit the menu levels until the start menu
appears.

1. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
2. If applicable, pull the red design filter covers out of the casing cover’s holder.

3. Open the quarter turn locks by turning the captive screw by 90°.
4. Remove the casing cover and remove the cable for potential equalisation from the flat plug of the
casing cover.

5. Pull the retaining clamps (4x) out of the EPP foam modules in vertical position.
6. Move the heat exchanger box by holding it on the strap up and down so that the heat exchanger box is
unlocked out of the tongue-and-groove joint. Pull the heat exchanger box out of the device.

7. Install the new heat exchanger box.
When installing the heat exchanger box, ensure correct locking with the fan boxes by
means of the tongue-and-groove joint!
8. Mount all parts in reverse order.
9. Connect the cable for potential equalisation to the flat plug of the casing cover.
10. Close the casing cover by turning the 4 captive screws of the quarter turn locks by 90°.
11. Re-establish the mains connection.

1. Read the program with a PC or write down the settings of the TFT.
2. Disconnect the device from the power supply.
3. Apply for work on the electronics an ESD wrist strap.

4. If applicable, pull the red design filter cover out of the casing cover’s holder.
5. Open the quarter turn locks by turning the captive screw by 90°.

6. Remove the casing cover and remove the cable for potential equalisation from the flat plug of the
casing cover.
7. Pull the retaining clamps (4x) out of the EPP foam modules in vertical position.

8. Move the heat exchanger box by holding it on the strap up and down so that the heat exchanger box is
unlocked out of the tongue-and-groove joint. Pull the heat exchanger box out of the device.
9. Loosen the 2 locking screws of the control system casing by approx. 4 - 6 mm by turning them counter
clockwise and remove the cable for potential equalisation from the flat plug of the control system
casing.

10. Withdraw the control system casing.
To do this, push the control system casing in the direction of the rear panel by approx. 3 - 5 mm in
such a way that the press-in keyhole fasteners unlatch from the 4 keyholes of the casing wall.
11. Remove the cable from the master board and remove it out of the device.
12. Install the new master board in the device. Be sure to install the cables according the circuit diagram
(see appendix).

13. Remove the cable from the fan slave board and remove it out of the device.
14. Install the new fan slave board in the device. Be sure to install the cables according the circuit diagram
(see appendix).
15. Be sure that the DIP switches are set correctly.

16. Remove the cable from the BUS thermostat and remove it out of the device.
17. Install the new BUS thermostat in the device. Be sure to install the cables according the circuit diagram
(see appendix).
18. Be sure that the DIP switches are set correctly.
