5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to
avoid injury from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or
objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.

Important Information
• Never use this product in an aircraft or a medical facility as it can cause interference or an
undesirable effect.
• The use of this product in the following locations may result in abnormal audio output (noise,
etc,).
º When the product is placed near a refrigerator or metal structure.
º A cluttered room where the wireless signals may be blocked.
• This product has been tested and manufactured to comply with each country’s safety rules.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in some installations. If
interference happens, decrease the distance between the product and receiving antenna.
• Optimal use of this product is for in-room/multi-room applications with a range of up to 140 ft.
(43m) away line of sight. This distance is reduced slightly as objects like walls and floors are in
the transmission path.
• Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer of this device could
void the product warranty.
• This equipment must be installed and operated in accordance with the provided instructions.
End users and installers must be provided with installation instructions and Transmitter operating
conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
• This device should be used only as specified within this manual to meet RF exposure
requirements. Use of this device in a manner inconsistent with this manual could lead to
excessive RF exposure conditions.
Unit Care Recommendations
To clean, use a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use water or other cleaning products as they may cause
electrical failure or damage the surface of the product.

Introduction
This ADS100-T8 transmitter provides 8 total independent mono zones, or 4 total stereo zones, or any
combination in-between. By connecting your source(s) to either the RCA line level or speaker level
inputs, you can wirelessly receive the audio signal and amplify it for the remote speakers.
For initial set up, refer to the main instruction sheet within the ADS100-B kit. These
instructions are meant for replacement of a faulty ADS100-T8 product only.
What’s In The ADS100-T8 Box
Before you start the installation, make sure you have the following items:
• 8CH 1 RU Black Transmitter
• (1) pair of rack ears + screws
• (8) Phoenix Connectors, 2 Pole
• (1) 120-240 VAC Power Adapter

First, review the transmitter connections and controls.

Installation
Step 1
On the existing transmitter complete the following:
• Turn the power off.
• Remove the power plug from the back panel socket.
• Remove all input connections 1-8, noting the exact connections for replacement.
• Remove the phillips locking screws in the TX module(s).
• Remove each TX module with antenna or antenna cable still attached.
• If installed in a rack, remove the 4 front rack mounting screws and pull transmitter out.
Step 2
On the new transmitter, install the new rack ears and attachment screws (supplied).
Step 3
Locate the transmitter where previously installed (in rack or on shelf). Install face rack mount screws
if applicable.
Step 4
Complete all wiring connections including:
• Press each TX module completely into the socket, locating the pin with the hole in the
transmitter case
• Install the Phillips locking screw into the hole in the TX module. Tighten barely snug only.
• Re-connect inputs 1-8 as applicable
• Plug the power supply in
• Turn the power on
Step 5
The system should be fully operational. No need to re-sync the amplifier RX modules. The sync
memory is maintained within the TX modules.

Limited Warranty
Peerless Industries, Inc. (“Peerless-AV®”) warrants to original end-users of Peerless-AV® products
that Peerless-AV® products will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use,
for the periods listed below, from the date of purchase by the original end-user. At its option, Peerless-
AV® will repair or replace with new or refurbished products or parts, or refund the purchase price of,
any Peerless-AV™ product which fails to conform with this warranty.
In no event shall the duration of any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose be longer than the period of the applicable express warranty set forth
above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by (a) service or repairs by the customer or a person
who is not authorized for such service or repairs by Peerless-AV®, (b) the failure to utilize proper
packing when returning the product, (c) incorrect installation or the failure to follow Peerless-AV®’s
instructions or warnings when installing, using or storing the product, or (d) misuse or accident,
in transit or otherwise, including in cases of third-party actions and force majeure. This warranty
also does not cover corrosion or rust resulting from damaged, scratched or chipped paint or other
surfaces.
In no event shall Peerless-AV® be liable for incidental or consequential damages or damages
arising from the theft of any product, whether or not secured by a security device which may
be included with the Peerless-AV® product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, and is the sole remedy with respect
to product defects. No dealer, distributor, installer or other person is authorized to modify or extend
this Limited Warranty or impose any obligation on Peerless-AV® in connection with the sale of any
Peerless-AV® product.
This warranty gives specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to
state.
