General safety instructions
Always follow the instructions
below when using power tools to
prevent the risk of re, electric shock or per-
sonal injury. Read the operating instructions
carefully before you start using the power tool
and save it for future reference.
• Always check the power tool, power cord and
plug before use. Only use power tools that are
in perfect and undamaged condition. Damaged
parts must be repaired or replaced immediate-
ly by a qualied repairer.
• Keep the workplace clean and tidy. Disorder
on work surfaces, benches and oors creates
accidents.
• Have good lighting in the workplace.
• Do not work in cramped and poorly ventilated
areas.
• Do not work with power tools in rainy or
humid environments. Do not leave power tools
out when it rains. Do not immerse power tools
in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use power tools near ammable liq-
uids and gases or in environments where there
is a risk of explosion and re. Sparks in the
engine or ying sparks from the workpiece can
also cause a re.
• Protect yourself from electric shock. Avoid
body contact with grounded objects such as
pipes, radiators, stoves or refrigerators when
working with power tools.
• Do not allow other people, especially children,
to come near the power tool or the power cord.
Keep unauthorized persons away from the
workplace
• Unused power tools must be stored safely.
The storage area should be dry, locked and
out of the reach of children and unauthorized
persons.
• Do not work with the power tool until you are
familiar with the functions of the machine.
• Do not force power tools to higher perfor-
mance than they can handle. The work be-
comes safer and the result better.
• Use the right power tool for the right purpose.
• Do not put objects in the ventilation holes of
the power tool - risk of electric shock.
• Immediately unplug the power cord from
the wall outlet (wall socket) if the power tool
sounds different than usual, if it is hot, if
smoke develops or if it smells.
• Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery as they may get caught in
the moving parts.
Rubber gloves and non-slip shoes with a rubber
sole are recommended when working outdoors.
Cover your hair with a hair net if you have long hair.
• Always wear safety goggles,
protective gloves and earplugs.
Also use face or dust protection
if the work is dusty or per-
formed in an enclosed space.
• Observe the necessary precautions when work-
ing with lead-based paint: use respiratory lters,
gloves and eye protection.
• Do not use power tools on materials containing
asbestos.
• Use a vacuum cleaner or dust bag if the power
tool is equipped with such. If it is possible to con-
nect a vacuum cleaner, make sure that it is used
correctly, especially in tight spaces. Always use a
vacuum cleaner when processing stone material.
• Never unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet. Oil, solvents, high temperatures and sharp
edges can damage the power cord.
If possible, use a clamp or vise to hold the work
piece in place. It is safer than using one hand
and it allows both hands to be used to operate
the power tool. Risk of injury decreases.
• Stand rmly and keep a good balance when
working with power tools. Avoid abnormal pos-
tures.
• Keep the handles dry and clean. Wipe off any
oil and dirt. Wipe your hand with a clean cloth.
Never use petrol, kerosene or corrosive liquids
for cleaning.
• Always unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet when you are not using your power tool,
when cleaning, or when changing accessories
ormaking settings.
• Check that all wrenches or wrenches have been
removed before starting the power tool.
• Avoid unintentional start. Check that the power
switch is off when the power cord is plugged in.
• When using outdoor power tools, use only ex-
tension cords intended for outdoor use with extra
thick insulation. Do not use an extension cord
that is too long. The socket must have a ground
connection and be tight for rainwater.
• Be attentive and concentrated during the work.
Do not work when you are tired, under the inu-
ence of drugs, alcohol or drugs.
