Intended use and limitation of use
The belt sander is mainly used to perform
surface polishing and grinding of metal in factories
to improve the roughness and gloss of the surface
of the spare parts. It has high efciency and
superior grinding performance. It is an ideal
replacement for polishing machines. This machine
is only used for grinding metals in the eld of
grinding capacity. Metals with low ignition points
such as aluminium, magnesium, etc. are forbidden
to be processed.
Warning: The machine is not designed
for use in explosive environments.
Safety instructions
This section of the instruction manual contains
requirements to help you use the machine safely.
The requirements for installation, operation and
maintenance of the machine will be repeated in the
instructions, together with additional information
that is not included in the safety section.
Labels on the machine
Below you will nd the warning signs that are
connected to the machine and illustrated in the
instruction manual:
User qualifications and attire
Only an expert in the eld or a worker instructed
and trained by such an expert may use the
machine. When working on the machine, you must
be familiar with these instructions and follow all
safety rules and regulations that apply in each
country. For health reasons, workers must wear
gloves, work clothes and safety shoes when
working.
In addition, persons who are under the inuence
of alcohol, tiredness are prohibited from using or
maintaining the machine. Experience shows that
injuries are often caused by various personal items
e.g. rings, watches, bracelets, ties, etc. Therefore,
take them off before you start working. Use hair
protection and attach the hair properly. Wear
suitable clothing, shoes or gloves that are
recommended or prescribed in occupational safety
regulations in all countries.
Basic safety requirements
Most accidents occur due to non-compliance with
simple safety regulations. A simple but extremely
important rule is:
Do not attempt to maintain or clean the machine
while it is on or in operation.
If normal safety measures are ignored, personal
injury to the operator may occur. Safety
equipment such as guards, goggles, face masks
and ear protection can reduce the risk of injury. But
even the best protection does not compensate for
poor judgment, carelessness or lack of attention.
Always use common sense and be careful in the
work area. If a procedure feels dangerous, do not
try it. Find out about an alternative procedure if it
feels safer.
Remember: Your personal safety is your
responsibility.
The machine owner must ensure that:
• The persons concerned have been trained for
their specic job and with regard to the safety
regulations.
• The safety regulations are followed.
• The safety regulations are in each work area.
Pay attention to the following individual safety
regulations.
• For your own safety, read the operating
instructions before using the machine. Learning
the application, limitations and specic hazards
of the machine greatly minimizes the risk of
accidents and injuries.
• Never use the machine outdoors or expose it to
rain and moisture.
• The machine is only designed for certain
applications. We strongly recommend that the
machine not be modied and/or used for any
purpose other than that for which it is
designed. If you have any questions regarding a
particular program, do not use the machine

should be performed on the product.
Technical modications to the machine may
only be made by our company or with our
express approval. Otherwise, our company is
not responsible for the modications or
damages that occur.
• Never use the machine if the limits set by the
technical data are exceeded.
• Good lighting conditions, a clean environment
and sufcient space must be maintained to
handle and maintain the machine in a
comfortable way and to prevent the user from
tripping or placing arms, hands and ngers in
dangerous places.
• Before starting the machine, make sure that all
safety devices are in their active positions and
check that they work. Do not attempt to use the
machine if any safety device is turned off or
removed.

operation, especially those concerning the
safety devices, the operator should stop the
machine and inform the person responsible for
the service.
• Switch off the machine if you are not going to
work with the machine.
• Before performing any maintenance work
inside the machine or cleaning it, turn off the
machine and unplug it from the power supply.

• Dress properly. Do not wear a tie, gloves or
loose clothing. Remove watches, rings and
other jewellery. Roll up your sleeves. Clothes or
jewellery can get caught in moving parts and
cause damage.
• Do not use the machine in a dangerous

places or in the rain can cause electric shock.
• Maintain all tools and machines and make sure
they are in top condition. Keep tools sharp and
clean for best and safest performance. Follow
the instructions for lubrication and replacement
of accessories. Poorly maintained tools and
machines can result in further damage to the
