Recycle unwanted material instead of throw-
ing it in the trash. All machines, accessories
and packaging materials must be sorted and
left at a recycling centre and disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner. Contact your
dealer or local authority for further information
on handling waste electrical and electronic
equipment.
This product is powered by two lithium batteries.
To protect the environment, the batteries
must be disposed of in a correct and environ-
mentally approved manner. They must not be
disposed of with household waste. Contact
your municipality to nd out where the nearest
environmental station is where you can hand in
the batteries.
Before welding, clean the filter, front and
inner protective glass and the four optical
sensors.
If the front or inner protective glass
is scratched and blurred, replace it imme-
diately.
1. Before welding
The welding helmet is delivered ready for use.
All you need to do before welding is adjust the
position of the headband and choose the right
attenuation level for your welding.
• Check that the front protective glass is
clean, and that no dirt covers the four IR
sensors on the front of the lter cartridge.
Also check the inside protective glass and
the holder frame, make sure they are secure.
• Inspect all parts before use for signs of wear
or damage. Scratched, cracked or corroded
parts should be replaced immediately before
use to avoid serious personal injury.
• Check that the correct dimming is set be-
fore each use.
• Select the correct glare protection by set-
ting the appropriate DIN value with the lter
knob. Make sure you have the right setting
for your welding.
• Adjusts the headband so that the helmet
sits as low as possible on your head and
close to your face. Adjust the angle of the
helmet when it is in the lowered position
byturning the adjustable bracket.
General safety instructions
• Do not work in the dark or in poor lighting.
• Never store explosives or ammable liq-
uids and gases within the work area.
• Pay special attention to the warning sym-
bols on the screen.
Do not use the product if you are tired or
under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
• If necessary, use protective equipment
such as respiratory protection, hearing pro-
tection and goggles.
• Wear suitable work clothes and non-slip
shoes for the purpose.
• Check that the product is in good condition
and that all parts, are intact and are cor-
rectly mounted.
Do not use a defective product. Return it to
an authorized service workshop for repair.
• Use only recommended accessories and
spare parts. Do not modify the construc-
tion of the helmet.
