IMPORTANT
THIS HOSE REEL ROLLER OUTLET REQUIRES 3-Ye’ BALL STOPS. MODELS 65515,65516 AND 65517.
DO NOT USE MODELS 63515,63516 AND 63517 (3’O.D.) BALL STOPS WITH THIS OUTLET.
DESCRIPTION
Model 62206 unit is a heavy duty lub-
reel designed for bus and trudc lubdca-
tion or wherever exira heavy duty con-
struction and longer length delivery
hose is required The reel can be in-
stalled as a single unit or in multiple
configurations.
Reel features include a reel latch that
automatioalfy locks at desired positions
as the hose is extended and releases
with a short pull on the hose.

Assemble outlet adapter to hose and
tighten securely, Use Won tape on
threads to prevent teaks.
See Figure (1). Insert hose end with
outlet adapter through rdler cutlet and
secure to axIs head with U-keeper.
Make sure seei is installed oorre&ly in
axle betore aesembling.

To prevent damaging hose conneo
tions and/or components when pull-
ing hose from reel, pull on the hosa
iteelf and not on the control valve or
swivel. Donotpullorjerkonthehosa
when fully withdrawn from the reel.
From open side of reel, loop entire
bngth of hoseom red in adccktise
direction. Pull hose out through roller
outlet to wind power spring. When
hose is completely extended, latch
reel to prevent it from untindmg.

Continue to add lccps of hose and pull
out hose until power spring winds tight.
IMPORTANT
INSTRUCTIONS
Perform the following instructions
as stated tc correctly set the power
spring for maximum tension.
Allow reel to retract two full revolu-
tions and latch reel. Carefully unioop
remaining hose from reel.
Position hose clamp so that approxi-
mately 112loop of hose remains on reel
and latching does not occur when boss
is fully eatended.

While holding hose, allawrmltoretract
hose until desired height from floor is ob-
tained, than latchreel.
Slide ball stop over tree end of hose and
position atightly below rdier outlet Tighten
screw to securu ball stop to boss.
Power spring Is now *et to mulmum
tenrion.

Should less spring tension be desired, pull
hose out from roller outlet to provide stack
and latch reel.
Unwind one loop af hose from reel, Pull
excess hose out through roller cutlet and
unlatch reel to retract hose.
Check tension and repeat above proce-
dure until desired tension is obtained.
ATTACHING CONNECTING HOSES
See Figure (2). Remove U-keeper and
inlet adapter from swivel body.
Assemble swivel adapter to connecting
hOs%.
Reconnsct iw adapter to swivelbodyad
replace U-keeper.
Connect other end of connecting hose to
material supply line source or connectich

REEL INSTALLATlON AND PRESSURE RELIEF
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
See Figure (3). The guide arm may be
positionedin 22-112 degree increments
as shown. For ease of operation and
increasad base life, the guide arm
should be positioned to minimize hose
strain es the delivery hose is pulled
through the roller outlet_
Always perform this pmcadura when the
pump is shut off and before checking,
aa&irQ, installing, cleaning or repairing
any part ot this eyatem.
Perform the following praca&ra:
Three studs must be used to securely
attach the guide arm. h may ba necee-
sary to change the position of the hex
head screw and one stud in order to
obtain the desired guide arm position.

The hose clamp must be relocated if
tha guide arm is in position Etor C.
Refer to SERVICE PAATS tar hose
clamp location.
Opun the diapanaing valve
into an appropriate container
untilthe pressure is relieved.
SAFETY INFORMATION

ing this equipment. Extreme caution
should be used when operating this
equipment as personal injury and/or
propertydamage can result from equip
ment misuse, Adequate personal pro-
tection is recommended to prevent
splashing of material on the skin or in
the eyes. ALWAYS disconnect air
coupler from pump whan the pump is
not being used.
If the above procedure doss not relieve
the pressure, the dispensing valve or
hose may be restricted. To relieve the
pressure, vafy abwiy koean the hose and
coupiing. Then Iooeen complataly and
clear the dispensing valve a&/or hose.
INSPECTION
Priorto operation or maintanenca a visual
inspection shall be made. Check reel
system for leaks, worn or missing parts.
Any raal that appaers to be damaged in
any w&y, is badly worn or operates ab-
normallyshall MI removed from use un!il
repairs are made. Contact factory au-
thorized service cantar for rap&s.
If ovarprassurizing of the equipment is
believed to have occurred, contect a fac-
tory authorized saorvicecenter to+inspac-
tion of the reel.
Annual inspaction by a factory author-
itad service center is recommended.
DISASSEMBLY
To d&assemble, perform ASSEMBLY
procedures in reverse.

Repair is limited to replacement of listed
service parts. Special procedures and
