1. Introduction

2. Safety Instructions
Read and understand this manual and all safety signs before using this appliance.
Class 2 appliance.
The power outlet on the WDC1230 maintains class 1.
IPX4
IP class X4.
Never use the appliance to vacuum toxic materials (i.e. chlorine bleach, ammonia), flammable
items or combustible liquids (i.e. petrol, hot ashes, cigarettes, matches, explosive materials or
anything burning), or use in areas where such substances and items may be present.
•This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
•Do not use this appliance in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool. Do not install this appliance immediately below a socket.
•Always check the power cord before use. The power cord and plug should be in good
condition, and must not be damaged.
•If the external flexible cable or cord of this appliance is damaged, it shall be exclusively
replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
•Do not unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cable. To unplug, grasp the power
plug.
•The use of an extension lead or multi-plug adaptor is not advised when connecting this
appliance to the mains. Connection through these devices could lead to a risk of
overloading, overheating and even fire at the extension lead or adaptor due to inadequate
connection quality.
•Do not pull or carry the appliance by the power cable, use the power cable as a handle or
pull the power cable around sharp edges or corners. Avoid running the appliance over the
power cable.
•Do not handle or operate the appliance with wet hands and follow the electrical safety
precautions at all times.
•Do not attempt to change an accessory while the appliance is plugged into the mains
power supply. Switch off and remove the power plug first.

•Do not operate the appliance close to heaters, radiators and other hot surfaces.
•Do not operate or use the appliance without dust bag and/or filters installed.
•Before vacuuming, remove any large or sharp object from the floor or cleaning surface in
order to prevent damage to the filter.
•If the hose inlet, accessory or metal tube is blocked, switch off the appliance and unplug
from the mains power supply. Clear the blocked object before attempting to start the
appliance again.
•Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the mains power supply,
even when switched off.
•Keep the hose, tube and other parts of the appliance away from your face and body.
3. General Guidelines
•Refer to the Velleman®Service and Quality Warranty on the last pages of this manual.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will
void the warranty.
•Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the
warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

5. Assembly
General Assembly
1. Assemble the wheels to the base of the appliance.
2. Assemble the base to the appliance and lock.
3. Connect the plastic hose end into the appliance. Connect the hose handle with the
telescopic tube.

4. Connect the desired accessory and extend the telescopic tube if desired.
Switchable Blowing Function
1. Replace the outlet board with the blowing board.
2. Connect the plastic hose end into the blowing board and fasten tightly.

Drain Function
Screw the drainage cover to pour water from the tank.
Power Socket (WDC1230 only)
Connect power tools to the appliance through the power socket.
The maximum outlet power is 2000 W. Never exceed the maximum power allowed to avoid the
appliance’s motor to burn out.
6. Operation
This appliance can be used with either a dust bag or a cloth filter.

Dry Vacuum Cleaning
•Ensure to correctly fit the HEPA filter and/or dust bag/cloth filter before use. Also, install
the sponge filter.
•Switch on the appliance and vacuum.
•Empty the tank and clean/replace the dust bag once the dust bag is full. Also, clean the
cloth filter accordingly.
Wet Vacuum Cleaning
•Ensure to fit the sponge filter correctly. The HEPA filter, dust bag and cloth filter should not
be used and therefore removed.
•Switch on the appliance and vacuum.
•Clean the tank after each use. Avoid leaving dust or dirty water inside the tank. Regularly
wipe the appliance inside out using only lukewarm water. Also, clean the used accessories.
I-0-II Switch (WDC1230 only)
•To use the appliance as a regular vacuum cleaner, switch the appliance to position I.
•To use the appliance with an extra electrical appliance, make sure the both appliances are
switched off. Connect the extra appliance to the vacuum cleaner and flick the switch to the
II position. The vacuum cleaner will start when the connected appliance starts.
7. Accessories
Floor Brush
The floor brush is ideal for cleaning carpets and hard floors.
Wiper Brush
This brush is ideal for wet cleaning applications.
Round Brush
Use this brush for cleaning furniture, curtains and upholstery.
Variable Suction Control
Slide the regulator on the handle to adjust the suction power. Just make sure it is closed for
liquid pick-up.

8. Care and Maintenance
1. Release the latches and remove the top
cover.
2. Remove the HEPA filter (WDC1230 only).
3. Remove the cloth filter.
4. Remove the sponge filter.
5. Carefully wash the HEPA and cloth filters
using warm water.
6. Air-dry for at least 24 hours.
7. Re-fit the filters into the machine.

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf
terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal
recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
Lees en begrijp deze handleiding en de veiligheidsinstructies vóór ingebruikname.
Dit toestel behoort tot klasse II.
De voedingsaansluiting van de WDC1230 behoort tot beschermingsklasse 1.

Beschermingsklasse X4.
Gebruik het toestel nooit om giftige materialen (bv. bleekwater, ammoniak), brandbare of
ontvlambare vloeistoffen (bv. benzine, hete as, sigaretten, lucifers, explosieve materialen of
andere brandende voorwerpen) op te zuigen, of gebruik het toestel niet op plaatsen waar zulke
stoffen aanwezig zijn.
•Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar, door personen met fysieke,
zintuiglijke of verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek aan ervaring en
kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk
is voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe zij het toestel moeten
gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich
meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen. De reiniging en het onderhoud
van het toestel mogen niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht
staan.
•Gebruik het toestel niet in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van een bad, een douche of een
zwembad. Plaats het toestel niet vlak onder een stopcontact.
•Controleer steeds de voedingskabel voor elk gebruik. De voedingskabel en de stekker
moeten in goede staat verkeren en mogen niet beschadigd zijn.
•Indien de externe, flexibele kabel beschadigd is, dan moet deze door de fabrikant, diens
servicedienst, of een gelijkwaardig bekwaam persoon vervangen worden.
•Trek niet aan de voedingskabel om het toestel te ontkoppelen. Trek aan de stekker, niet
aan het snoer.

•Gebruik geen verdeelstekker of verlengsnoer om het toestel op het lichtnet aan te sluiten.
Het gebruik van deze toestellen kan leiden tot overbelasting, oververhitting en zelfs tot
brand.
•Trek of draag het toestel niet via de voedingskabel, gebruik de voedingskabel niet als
handvat of trek de voedingskabel niet rond scherpe randen of hoeken. Trek het toestel niet
over de voedingskabel.
•Gebruik het toestel nooit met natte handen en respecteer steeds de
veiligheidsvoorschriften.
•Bevestig nooit accessoires op het toestel terwijl het toestel in werking is. Schakel het
toestel uit en strek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
•Houd het toestel uit de buurt van kachels, radiatoren en andere warmtebronnen.
•Gebruik het toestel niet zonder stofzak en/of filters.
•Verwijder grote of scherpe voorwerpen van de vloer vooraleer de vloer te stofzuigen om
schade aan de filter te voorkomen.
•Als de luchtinlaat, het mondstuk of de metalen buis zijn geblokkeerd, schakel het toestel
uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact. Verwijder het blokkerende voorwerp voordat u
het toestel opnieuw start.
•Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het aangesloten is op het stroomnet, zelfs
wanneer het uitgeschakeld is.
•Houd het uiteinde van de slang, buizen en andere delen van het toestel uit de buurt van uw
gezicht en lichaam.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
•Raadpleeg de Velleman®service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze handleiding.
•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die
de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij
ongeoorloofd gebruik.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze
handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen
die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•Noch Velleman nv noch zijn verdelers kunnen aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor schade
(buitengewoon, incidenteel of onrechtstreeks) –van welke aard dan ook (financieel,
fysisch…) voortvloeiend uit het bezit, gebruik of falen van dit product.
•Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.

5. Montage
Montage
1. Bevestig de wielen aan de wielbasis.
2. Bevestig de wielbasis aan het toestel en vergrendel.

3. Sluit de flexibele zuigslang aan op het toestel. Schuif de handgreep van de zuigslang in de
telescopische zuigbuis.
4. Sluit vervolgens het gewenste mondstuk aan en trek de telescopische buis tot de gewenste
lengte uit.
Blaas- en zuigfunctie
1. Vervang de uitblaasfilter door de blaasmond.

2. Sluit de flexibele zuigslang aan op de blaasmond en zet deze vast.
Afvoerfunctie
Draai de dop los om het reservoir te ledigen.
Stopcontact (enkel WDC1230)
Uitgerust met stopcontact voor het aansluiten van elektrisch gereedschap.
Het max. uitgangsvermogen is 2000 W. Overschrijd nooit het max. vermogen van het toestel
om te voorkomen dat de motor oververhit raakt.

6. Gebruik
Dit toestel kan zowel met een stofzak als met een stoffilter gebruikt worden.
Droogzuigen
•Zorg ervoor dat de HEPA-filter en/of stofzak/filter correct zijn geplaatst voor gebruik. Plaats
ook de schuimfilter in het toestel.
•Schakel het toestel in en begin te stofzuigen.
•Ledig het reservoir en reinig/vervang de stofzak wanneer deze vol is. Reinig ook de
stoffilter.
Natzuigen
•Zorg ervoor dat de schuimfilter correct is geplaatst. De HEPA-filter, de stofzak en de
stoffilter moeten niet gebruikt worden en mogen dus verwijderd worden.
•Schakel het toestel in en begin te stofzuigen.
•Reinig het reservoir na elk gebruik. Laat geen stof of vuil water achter in het reservoir.
Reinig het toestel regelmatig met lauw water. Reinig ook de gebruikte accessoires.
I-0-II-schakelaar (enkel WDC1230)
•Om het toestel te gebruiken als stofzuiger, zet de schakelaar op I.
•Om het toestel te gebruiken met een elektrisch gereedschap, zorg ervoor dat de beide
toestellen uitgeschakeld zijn. Sluit het elektrisch gereedschap aan op het toestel en zet de
schakelaar op II. Het toestel begint te werken wanneer het aangesloten toestel start.
7. Accessoires
Vloerzuigmond voor droogzuigen
Ideaal voor het reinigen van tapijten en harde vloeren.
Vloerzuigmond voor natzuigen
Ideaal voor het opzuigen van vloeistoffen.
Ronde borstel
Ideaal voor het reinigen van meubilair, gordijnen en bekleding.
Luchtregeling
Beweeg de schuifknop op de handgreep om de zuigkracht te regelen. Zorg ervoor dat het
schuifje op de handgreep gesloten bij het opzuigen van vloeistoffen.

8. Reiniging en onderhoud
1. Open de sluitklemmen en verwijder het
deksel.
2. Verwijder de HEPA-filter (enkel
WDC1230).
3. Verwijder de stoffilter.
4. Verwijder de schuimfilter.
5. Was voorzichtig de HEPA- en stoffilters
met warm water.
6. Laat minstens 24 uur aan de lucht drogen.
7. Plaats de filters opnieuw in het toestel.

Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour aspirer des substances toxiques (p. ex. eau de javel, ammoniac),
des substances inflammables ou des liquides combustibles (p. ex. de l'essence, des cendres de
cigarettes chaudes, des allumettes, des substances explosives ou toute substance en
combustion), ou dans des zones dans lesquelles ces substances peuvent être présentes.
•Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus et des personnes
manquant d’expérience et de connaissances ou dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales sont réduites, si elles ont été formées et encadrées quant à l'utilisation de
l'appareil d'une manière sûre et connaissent les risques encourus. Ne pas laisser les
enfants jouer avec l'appareil. Le nettoyage et l'entretien ne doivent pas être effectués par
