Limitations on the Use of a Built-in Battery
To extend the battery life and avoid potential hazards, the User shall:
Prevent short circuit of the battery;
Not expose the battery to temperatures below zero during operation of the
device;
Prevent the battery from heating above +60°C;
Charge the battery on a regular basis (at least once every 6 months);
Prevent depressurization of the battery;
Use the original battery model only.
For a completely discharged battery, it is impossible to switch on the IoT Router
immediately after connecting it to the mains. Therefore, the User must charge the
battery before switching on the IoT Router for the first time, or in the case when the
device is not used for a long time.
Only original power adapters and cables may be used to charge the battery. The use
of incompatible power adapters and cables may cause the battery to explode or
damage the IoT Router, and will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Power Adapter Limitations
Using a non-original or incompatible power adapter, or improperly connecting it to the
device may void the manufacturer’s warranty, as well as lead to damages of the
device, or risk of fire, or other hazards.
Both the device and the power adapter may become warm during charging. This is
considered normal and does not have any adverse effect on the life and performance
of the device. In case of excessive heating, corresponding indication of the power
button will activate (See Table 1 below), so that the User shall let the device cool down
by disconnecting it from the mains.
Since the power adapter is not equipped with a switch, it is recommended to
disconnect it from the mains when not in use in order to save power.
Bandwidth Limitations
Some of the frequency bands supported by the device may not be available in your
country or region. For more information, contact your local service provider.
