this manual carefully and keep it for
future reference, along with your receipt.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all instructions before using the heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch the hot surfaces. If
provided, always use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (1 m) from the front of the
heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is operated by, or used near children or individuals
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, and whenever the heater is left operating
unattended.
4. Always unplug the heater when it's not in use.
5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard,or call customer service before you return the heater
to authorized service facility for examination or repair.
6. Do not use the heater outdoors.
7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar moist indoor locations.
Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
8. Do not run cord under carpeting,throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not run the cord
under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from high traffic areas where it will not be
tripped over.
9. CAUTION: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of shock, this plug is intended to fit only one way into a polarized outlet. If the plug does not fit
fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT
attempt to bypass this safety feature. Doing so could result in an electric shock hazard.
10. This heater draws 12.5 amps during operation. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not plug the
heater into a circuit with other working appliances.
11. CAUTION: It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the plug
and outlet may cause overheating and damage to the plug. Contact a qualified electrician to
replace loose or broken outlet.
12. To disconnect the heater, first turn it off, then remove the plug from the outlet. Never pull by the
cord.
13. Do not insert foreign objects- or allow them to enter- into any vents or exhaust openings, as this
may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage to the heater.
14. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air vents in any manner. Do not use the heater on soft
surfaces, like beds or rugs, where the openings may become blocked.
15. A heater has hot, arcing, or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in the areas where gasoline, paint,
or flammable liquids are either stored or used.
16. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
17. CAUTION: Always plug heaters directly into a 115~120 V wall outlet. Never use with an extension
cord, adapter, or power strip.
18. The output of this heater may vary and its temperature may become intense enough to burn
exposed skin. Using this heater is not recommended for people with reduced sensitivity to heat or
an inability to react to burn avoidance.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before turning on the heater:
1. Check the power cord and plug for damage. Never operate the unit with a damaged cord.
2. Plug your heater into a grounded 115-120V AC outlet. Be sure the voltage and frequency are the
same as the voltage and frequency listed on the rating label. Otherwise, contact a qualified electrician
to replace it.

REMOTE CONTROL
Heater Orientation
This heater is designed to be used in either a vertical or horizontal position as desired. Position the unit
on a flat, stable surface during operation.
On/Off
Plug the unit directly into the wall outlet and press the ON/OFF key (or press the ON/OFF key on the
remote control) to start the heater. The unit automatically starts in high heat mode with the display
showing a temperature of 95°F (35°C). Pressing the button again will return the unit to standby mode.
Mode control
Repeatedly pressing the Mode key switches the heater modes, in order from: high heat, low heat, fan
only, ECO mode, then back to high heat.
Temperature control
Pressing + or - while the heater is on changes the temperature, within the range of
40-95°F (4-35°C).When the room temperature matches the set temperature, the display flashes for 10S,
the unit stops working, remaining in standby. When the room temperature drops below the set
temperature, the heater will start again.
Timer function
The timer can be set to run between 1 and 24 hours.
Timer Off:
When the heater is in operation, press TIMER and then press + or - keys to increase or
decrease the timer in 1 hour increments. The unit will turn OFF after the set number of hours.
Timer On:
When the heater is in standby mode, press TIMER and then press + or - keys to increase or
decrease the timer in 1 hour increments. The unit will turn ON after the set number of hours.
Oscillation function
Pressing the Oscillation key while the heater is on starts the oscillation function; pressing this button again
turns the oscillation function off. Oscillation stops when the unit turns off, as well.

Memory function
As long as no power outages occur, the unit will restart with the same setting it was in when it was turned
off. In the event of a power outage, the heater will return to the factory settings: Starting in the high
setting with adefault temperature of 95°F (35°C).
Off screen function
When the heater is in operation, the screen automatically goes blank after 1 minute,
keeping only the heating logo illuminated. Holding the +and-buttons at the same time for 2 seconds turns
this function off. Holding themfor another 2 seconds will turn the Off screen function back on again.
Short circuit protection function
If a temperature sensor short circuits, an E1 or E2 error will flash on the digital display screen and the unit
will beep 10 times. The control panel and remote control keys will not work. Unplug the unit and contact
customer service at 1-844-472-2473 (1-844-4PA-AIRE).
Overheat protection
This unit features a thermal shutoff protection to prevent overheating. If the room temperature is above
122°F (50°C), the unit will stop operating and the display will flash FF 75 times, once per second; the
control panel and remote keyswill not work.To reset, unplug the heater; wait a few minutes before plugging
it back in and turning it on.
ECO energy saving Mode
Selecting the ECO mode option, allows the heater to automatically adjust the heat and power settlings for
the most comfort while increasing energy efficiency. The unit may switch the heat and fan several times in
an hour to reduce energy consumption. The maximum temperature in this setting is 79°F (26°C).
Remote control
The remote control key functions are basically the same as the control panel on the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater does not operate- properly or at all, first check the following list. If the reason the heater
does not operate or does not operate properly is not on the list, it may have failed. Contact customer
service at 1-844-472-2473 (1-844-4PA-AIRE) for further assistance.
Issue Possible Cause Solution
The heater may not be plugged

The unit suddenly stops

to cool before turning it back on.

does not work.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
For optimal performance, we recommend cleaning the heater at least once a month, as well as
before storing for the off-season.
Turn the heater OFF and unplug it. Allow it to cool.
Use a dry cloth to clean the outer surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH, OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
Clean your heater using the above-mentioned steps, then pack the heater in its original container
before storing it in a cool, dry place.
This heater has no user serviceable parts and cannot be disassembled.
The motor is factory lubricated for life and will require no further lubrication.
