Installation / Safety Precautions
WARNING
READ THIS SECTION FIRST BEFORE INSTALLING THE GRILL
• This grill is designed to use LP gas only. Please use the grill with the regulator supplied y
PermaSteel.
• The installation of this appliance must conform with local codes or, in the a sence of local
codes, with either the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223 1, or CAN/CGA B149 1, Natural
Gas Installation Code or CAN/CGA-B149 2, Propane Installation Code
• The LP-gas supply cylinder is to e constructed and marked in accordance with the
specifications for LP-gas cylinders of the U S Department of Transportation (DOT) or the
National Standard of Canada, CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes for the
Transportation of Dangerous Goods
• This grill is safety certified for use in the United States and Canada only. Never modify to use in
other places. Modification may cause serious odily injury or property damage. PermaSteel is
not responsi le for any modifications, and all warranties will e void.

Propane & Gas Warning

FOR YOUR SAFETY, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION FIRST
• If you smell gas:
1) Shut off gas to the grill.
2) Extinguish any open flames immediately.
3) Open the grill lid.
4) If the odor persists, please call your gas supplier or your fire department immediately.
• Do not store or use gasoline or other flamma le items in the vicinity of this grill.
• Any LP cylinder that is not connected for use should not e stored in the vicinity of this grill.

BeforeAssembly
READANDFOLLOWTHE INSTRUCTIONS BELOWTO CORRECTLYUNPACK GRILL PARTS
FROMSHIPPING BOX.
Step 1:Carefullyopen the top ofthecartonwithaboxcutter,takeoutall the grill parts,andpacking
materialabovethe grill.

Step2:Withtheaidofanassistant, turn grill overon itssideas shownbelow,and remove
thetop styrofoamendcap. Take outthesideshelfcarton from it.

Step3:Removeanotherstyrofoamendcapfrom thegrill and place ituprighton thefloor.
Openthelid,and takeoutthesmall boxes packedinside. Removeall packing materials, and
take outall partsfromboxes.

Hardware
The following hardware is provided in a blister pack for convenient use.

Assemble Steps
Step 1
 Turn the bottom panel upside down.
 Use (16) M6 13 screws to attach four casters to the bottom panel.
Note: Casters with brake are amount on the back of bottom panel.
 Turn the bottom panel upside down.

Step 2
 Attach the Left Side Panel to Bottom Panel with (3) M6 13 screws. Do not fully tighten them.
 Attach the Right Side Panel to Bottom Panel with (3) M6 13 screws. Do not fully tighten them.
 Attach the Back Panel to Left & Right Side Panels and Bottom Panel with (8) M4 10 screws as
shown.

Step 3
 Attach the Cart Support Angle Bar to Left Side Panel and Bottom Panel with (4) M4 10 screws.
 Attach the Cart Support Angle Bar to Right Side Panel and Bottom Panel with (4) M4 10
screws.
 Attach the Door Bracket to Left & Right Side Panels with (4) M4 10 screws.
 Fully tighten all screws in Step 2.

Step 4
 Attach the Left Drip Tray Bracket to the top of Left Side Panel with (4) M4 10 screws.
 Attach the Right Drip Tray Bracket to the top of Right Side Panel with (4) M4 10 screws.

Step 5
 Remove any wire ties holding the regulator and gas hose under the grill head, making sure the hose hangs
freely. With the aid of an assistant, carefully lower the grill head onto the pedestal, use (4) M6 13 screws
from sides to attach head to pedestal. See A.
 Attach the Back Rail to the back of Firebox & Side Panels with (4) M4 10 screws. See B.
 Open the lid, to attach the Lid Handle, align the Large Insulation Washer, Lid Handle Bezel, two Small
Insulation Washers and Lid Handle, attach them to the Lid with (2) M6 20 Screws and (2) M6 Flat Washers
from inside of the lid. See C.

Step 6
 Remove the 2 pre-installed screws from two sides of Control Panel. Attach the Front Side Shelf
Supports to each sides and reattach with previously removed 2 screws. See A & B.
 Underneath the firebox, fix the regulator to the right side panel with (1) Hose retain pin and (1)
Cotter pin. See C.
 Attach the Left & Right Back Side Shelf Supports to the rear sides of firebox with (4) M5 10
screws. See D & E.
 Note: Attach all the brackets so that the flanges on top.

Step 7
 Attach the 4 side shelf support brackets to firebox with (8) M6 13 screws. There is a location
label on each bracket.
Note: Attach the front brackets so that the flanges face to the front of the grill.
Attach the back brackets so that flanges face to the back of the grill.

Step 8
 Place the 6 pcs of tool hooks on each side shelf end and tighten with nuts. See A.
 Screw (1) M6 12 shoulder screw into the lower hole of each side shelf support bracket. See B
& D.
 For each side shelf, hold the shelf in attachment position on the side of cart. Screw (1) M6 12
shoulder screw through the shelf attachment slot and into the upper hole of each side shelf
support bracket. See C & E.
NOTE: To raise shelf to use position, lift shelf from long side. To lower shelf, grasp by front and
back short sides and raise up slightly, then guide shelf down to collapsed position.

Step 9
 Attach the Door Handle to the Door with (2) Pre-assembled M6 15 Screws.
 Insert the door bottom pin into the hole in the front of bottom panel. Push down the door top pin,
align it with the hole in the door bracket, and release pin so that it insert in hole.

Step 10
 Place heat diffusers over burners. Diffusers will fit in firebox in either direction.
 Place cooking grates onto grate rests.
 Insert the two attachment tips at the back of the warming rack into the holes in the warming
rack brackets.
Step 11
 Install the drip tray into the cart from back.
 Install the drip cup into the drip tray from back.
