Vielen Dank, dass du dich für die Petromax Kühltasche entschieden hast! Mit deiner neuen Kühltasche
bleiben deine Lebensmittel draußen und unterwegs lange frisch und ideal konserviert. Bei richtiger
Anwendung erlebst du tagelange, gut versorgte Freiheit auf deinen Draußen-Abenteuern.
Wichtige Hinweise
Lies dir die folgenden Hinweise vor dem ersten Gebrauch aufmerksam durch. Beachte insbe-
sondere die Sicherheitshinweise und heb diese Anleitung gut auf. Übergib sie auch an einen
möglichen Nachbesitzer.
Produktbeschreibung
Die Petromax Kühltasche hält deine Speisen und Getränke draußen und unterwegs lange frisch. Die
passive Kühlung macht dich unter freiem Himmel vollständig unabhängig, da du nicht auf Strom
angewiesen bist. Die optimal ausgewählten Materialien und die clevere Konstruktion sorgen für eine
hervorragende Kühlleistung. So hältst du Eis bis zu 4 Tage bzw. 6 Tage gekühlt (siehe Testbedingungen
auf Seite 6 dieser Gebrauchsanleitung). Auf diese Weise bist du für längere Aufenthalte in der Natur
bestens mit frischen Lebensmitteln versorgt.
Sicherheitshinweise
• Halte Kinder und Tiere von der Kühltasche fern und lass sie in der Nähe nicht unbeobachtet.
Erstickungsgefahr!
• Lagere keine explosionsfähigen Stoffe, wie z. B. Sprühdosen, in der Kühltasche.
• Bewahr nur Lebensmittel in der Originalverpackung oder verschließbaren Frischebehältern innerhalb
der Kühltasche auf. Bewahr keine unverpackten Lebensmittel in der Kühltasche auf.
• Füll keine Säuren oder Treibstoffe in die Kühltasche.
• Stell die Kühltasche nicht in der Nähe von offenem Feuer oder anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung,
Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasofen etc.) ab.
• Geeignet für Kühlakkus, Crushed Ice und Eiswürfel.
• Nicht für Trockeneis geeignet.
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
Bevor du die Kühltasche zum ersten Mal verwendest, wisch sie mit einem feuchten Tuch von innen aus. Bei
Bedarf verwende etwas handelsübliches Spülmittel. Trockne die Kühltasche anschließend gründlich ab.

1. Die ergonomischen Tragegriffe an den beiden Seiten und auf dem Deckel geben dir die Möglichkeit,
die Tasche stets geradezuhalten und bequem abstellen zu können.
2. Mit dem praktischen Schultergurt kann die leichte Kühltasche auch über längere Strecken mitge-
nommen werden.

Der umlaufende Reißverschluss ist wasserdicht, und verhindert so das Auslaufen von Schmelzwasser
beim Transport der Kühltasche. Starke Druckbelastung auf die Kühltasche, Überfüllung, oder schräger
bzw. liegender Transport, können die Wasserdichtigkeit ggf. beeinflussen.
4. Dank des integrierten Flaschenöffners kannst du dir bequem ein Getränk aus der Kühltasche
herausnehmen und sofort öffnen.
5. In der großen Fronttasche kann größeres Zubehör einfach verstaut werden.
6. In den beiden seitlichen Netztaschen findet kleinere Ausrüstung Platz, wie beispielsweise das
Petromax Feuerkit.
7. Mit der großen, flachen Reißverschluss-Tasche auf der Rückseite hast du für weitere Gegenstände
eine sichere Aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit.
Die Petromax Kühltasche ist für das möglichst langanhaltende Konservieren von Lebensmitteln
und Getränken unter der Verwendung von Kühlmitteln (Eiswürfel, Kühlakkus etc.) konzipiert.
Handhabung für eine lange Kühldauer
Sofern du die nachfolgenden Hinweise im Umgang mit deiner Petromax Kühltasche beachtest, erhältst
du ein optimales und langanhaltendes Kühlergebnis bei deinen Draußen-Abenteuern, in Abhängig-
keit von den Umgebungsbedingungen. Bitte beachte, dass jegliches Abweichen von einem der
nachfolgenden Punkte deine Kühlleistung erheblich verkürzen kann!
1.
Kühl die Kühltasche etwa einen Tag vor Benutzung so weit wie möglich herunter, indem du sie
vorher mit Eis befüllst oder an einem kalten Ort lagerst (Keller, Garage etc.).
2. Verwende große Eisstücke / Eiswürfel zum Kühlen der Lebensmittel. Je größer die Eisstücke, desto
langanhaltender ist die Kühldauer.
3. Leg das Eis obenauf. Da Kälte nach unten sinkt, erhöhst du so die Kühldauer.
4. Getränke/ Speisen mit Zimmertemperatur verringern den Kühlungseffekt stark – kühl sie daher im
Kühlschrank so weit wie möglich herunter, bevor du sie in die Kühltasche gibst.

Jede Öffnung des Deckels der Kühltasche beeinflusst die Temperaturstabilität im Inneren negativ –
öffne die Kühltasche daher so bewusst und sparsam wie möglich. Je häufiger du sie öffnest, desto
geringer ist die Kühldauer.
6. Stell die Kühltasche nicht in die Sonne, sondern lass sie ausschließlich im Schatten stehen. Direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung beeinträchtigt die Temperaturstabilität.

7. Solltest du während eines längeren Aufenthalts Eis nachfüllen müssen, leere vorsichtig etwas
Schmelzwasser aus.
8. Transportiere oder lagere die Kühltasche stets in aufrechtem Zustand.
Reinigung, Pflege und Lagerung
Um eine möglichst lange Lebensdauer und Funktion deiner Kühltasche zu erzielen, solltest du – neben
der korrekten Nutzung – auf ausreichende und regelmäßige Reinigung und Pflege achten. Reinige die
Kühltasche mit einem feuchten Tuch von innen und außen. Verwende keinesfalls scharfe oder ätzende
Reinigungsmittel, da sie das Material beschädigen können.
Trockne die Kühltasche innen und außen gut ab und verstaue sie aufrechtstehend an einem kühlen,
gut belüfteten und trockenen Ort mit leicht geöffnetem Deckel, damit eventuelle Restfeuchtigkeit
entweichen kann.
Den für die Kühltaschen separat erhältlichen Netzeinsatz reinigst du bei Bedarf mit einem feuchten
Tuch und ggf. etwas Spülmittel. Lass ihn anschließend gut trocknen. Der Netzeinsatz ist nicht wasch-
maschinengeeignet. Bitte bewahr keine unverpackten Lebensmittel im Netzeinsatz auf.
Testbedingungen der Kühldauer
Die Kühlleistung der Petromax Kühltaschen kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 wurde nach der in dieser Gebrauchs-
anleitung empfohlenen Vorgehensweise zur „Handhabung für eine lange Kühldauer“ über einen
Zeitraum von 6 Tagen getestet.
Testablauf kx-bag8/ kx-bag22:
1. kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 wurden für die Dauer von 6 Tagen getestet.
2. kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 wurden mit maximaler Eismenge (große Eiswürfel) von 4 kg/ 10 kg befüllt.
Bei einem zweiten Test wurde die kx-bag22 mit der Hälfte des Eises befüllt, um ein realistisches
Ergebnis zu haben, wenn die Kühltasche auch Lebensmittel enthält.
3. Die Umgebungstemperatur während des gesamten Testzeitraumes betrug etwa 21 °C.
4. Die Kühltaschen kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 wurden einmal pro Tag für kurze Zeit geöffnet, um die Innen-
temperatur und den Eiszustand zu kontrollieren. Innerhalb der ersten 3 Tage betrug die Tem-
peratur stets unter 4 °C/ 3°C. Zum Vergleich: Das entspricht der Temperatur im kühlsten Fach des
Kühlschranks, direkt über dem Gemüsefach.
5. Der Test wurde nach 6 Tagen mit dem Ergebnis beendet, dass die Temperatur des Eiswas-
sers noch immer 8 °C betrug. Zum Vergleich: Das ist die übliche Temperatur bei Lebensmitteln
im obersten Fach des Kühlschranks. Bei gleichbleibenden Außentemperaturen konnten sich die
Kühltaschen kx-bag8 sogar bis zu 4 Tage lang bewähren. Beim zweiten Test der kx-bag22 mit nur 5
kg Eiswürfeln wurde der Test nach mehr als 3 Tagen mit dem Ergebnis beendet, dass die Temperatur
des Eiswassers noch immer 8 °C betrug.

Fazit des Tests:
Bei einer gleichbleibenden Außentemperatur von 21 °C und maximaler Eismenge (große Eiswürfel)
kühlt die kx-bag8 bis zu 4 Tage lang und die kx-bag22 bis zu 6 Tage lang mit einer Innentemperatur
von unter 8 °C. Die Kühltaschen wurden maximal einmal pro Tag geöffnet.
Zubehör
Mit dem separat erhältlichen Petromax Netzeinsatz kannst du deine Petromax Kühltasche sinnvoll
erweitern. Die stabile Netztasche ist zusammenfaltbar und stabil. So können abgepackte Lebensmittel
bis zur Petromax Kühltasche transportiert werden, z.B. im Supermarkt, und schließlich mit Eis gekühlt
werden. Nach dem Draußen-Kocherlebnis kann überschüssiges Schmelzwasser aus der Kühltasche
entfernt werden. Mit einem Handgriff werden die Lebensmittel im Netzeinsatz herausgehoben und
die Kühltasche kann vom überschüssigen Wasser befreit werden. Danach wird der Einsatz erneut in
die Kühltasche gestellt. Nun können wieder neue Eiswürfel eingefüllt werden. Oder der Netzeinsatz
wird zum Trocknen und Säubern beiseitegestellt, während die Kühltasche ebenfalls trocknen kann.
Gewährleistung
Bei sachgemäßem Gebrauch erhältst du auf deine Petromax Kühltasche eine Gewährleistung von
zwei Jahren ab Kaufdatum. Dies betrifft nicht die Verschleißteile. Lässt sich deine Petromax Kühltasche
aufgrund von Schäden am Material oder Herstellungsmängeln nicht einwandfrei benutzen, hast du
Anspruch auf Nachbesserung. Setz dich dazu mit deinem Händler in Verbindung.

Read the following instructions carefully before using the product for the first time. Pay
particular attention to the safety instructions and keep this user manual in a safe place. Also

Product description
The Petromax Cooler Bag keeps your food and drinks fresh for a long time outdoors and on the road. The
passive cooling ensures complete autonomy during your outdoor excursions, as you are not dependent
on electricity. The optimally selected materials and the clever construction ensure excellent cooling
performance. You can keep ice cream chilled for up to 4 to 6 days (see test conditions on page 11 of
this user manual). This way you are well supplied with fresh food during your extended stays in nature.
Safety instructions
• Keep children and animals away from the Cooler Bag. Do not leave the bag unattended.
Danger of suffocation!
• Do not store explosive substances, such as spray cans, in the Cooler Bag.
• Only store food in the original packaging or sealable fresh food containers inside the Cooler Bag. Do
not store unpackaged food in the Cooler Bag.
• Do not put acids or fuels in the Cooler Bag.
• Do not place the Cooler Bag near an open fire or other heat sources (such as heater, sunlight, gas
oven, etc.).
• Suitable for cold packs, crushed ice and ice cubes.
• Not suitable for dry ice.
Before first use
Before using the Cooler Bag for the first time, wipe the inside with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a

3. The all-round zip is waterproof, preventing melt water from leaking when transporting the Cooler
Bag. Heavy pressure on the Cooler Bag, overfilling, or transporting it at an angle or horizontally
can affect its waterproofness.
4. Thanks to the integrated bottle opener, you can easily take a drink out of the Cooler Bag and open
it immediately.
5. Large accessories can be easily stored in the large front pocket.
6. In the two side mesh pockets, there is room for smaller equipment, such as the Petromax fire kit.

The Petromax Cooler Bag is designed to preserve food and drinks for as long as possible using
coolants (ice cubes, cold packs etc.).
Tips for handling the Cooler Bag for a long cooling time
If you follow the instructions below when handling your Petromax Cooler Bag, you will get an optimal
and long-lasting cooling result during your outdoor adventures, depending on the ambient conditions.
Please note that any deviation from one of the following points can shorten your cooling
performance significantly!
1. Cool down the Cooler Bag as much as possible about a day before use by filling it with ice or storing
it in a cold place (cellar, garage, etc.).
2. Use large pieces of ice / ice cubes to chill the food. The bigger the ice pieces, the longer the cooling time.
3. Place the ice on top. As cold sinks to the bottom, you increase the cooling time.
4. Food and drinks at room temperature greatly reduce the cooling effect - so chill them as much as
possible in the refrigerator before placing them in the Cooler Bag.
5.
Every time you open the lid of the Cooler Bag, the temperature stability inside is negatively affected.
Therefore, open the Cooler Bag as deliberately and sparingly as possible. The more you open it, the
shorter the cooling time.
6. Do not place the Cooler Bag in the sun, but solely in the shade. Direct sunlight will affect the tem-
perature stability.
7. If you need to restock ice during a longer trip, carefully drain some meltwater.
8. Always transport or store the Cooler Bag in an upright position.

Cleaning, care and storage
To ensure the longest possible product life and function of your Cooler Bag, you should – in addition to
correct use – ensure sufficient and regular cleaning and care. Clean the inside and outside of the Cooler
Bag with a damp cloth. Never use harsh or corrosive cleaning agents, as they can damage the material.
Dry the Cooler Bag well inside and out and store it upright in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry place with
the lid slightly open so that any residual moisture can escape.
Clean the Mesh Pouch, which is available separately for the Cooler Bags, with a damp cloth and some
dishwashing liquid if necessary. Allow it to dry thoroughly afterwards. The Mesh Pouch is not machine
washable. Please do not store any unpacked food in the Mesh Pouch.
Test conditions cooling duration
The cooling performance of the Petromax kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 Cooler Bags was tested over a period of
6 days according to the procedure recommended in this user manual named "Tips for handling the
Cooler Bag for long cooling time".
Test procedure kx-bag8/ kx-bag22:
1. kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 were tested for a duration of 6 days.
2. kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 were filled with a maximum quantity of ice (large ice cubes) of 4 kg/ 10 kg.
In a second test, the kx-bag22 was filled with half the ice to reach a realistic result when the Cooler
Bag also contains food.
3. The ambient temperature during the entire test period was about 21 °C.
4. The kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 Cooler Bags were opened once a day for a short time to check the internal
temperature and the ice condition. Within the first 3 days, the temperature was always below
4 °C/ 3 °C. For comparison: This corresponds to the temperature in the coolest compartment of the
refrigerator, directly above the vegetable compartment.
5. After 6 days the test was completed with the result that the temperature of the ice water
was still 8 °C. For comparison: This is the usual temperature for food in the top compartment of the
refrigerator. When the external temperature remained stable, the kx-bag8 Cooler Bags remained
efficient for 4 days. In the second test of the kx-bag22 with only 5 kg of ice cubes, the test ended
after more than 3 days with the result that the temperature of the ice water was still 8 °C.
Conclusion of the test:
At a constant external temperature of 21 °C and maximum amount of ice (large ice cubes), the kx-bag8
cools its contents for up to 4 days and the kx-bag 22 for up to 6 days with an inside temperature below
8 °C. The cooling bags were opened a maximum of once a day.

Accessories
With the separately available Petromax Mesh Pouch, you can sensibly accessorize your Petromax Cooler
Bag. The sturdy Mesh Pouch is foldable and stable. Packed food can be carried inside the Mesh Pouch, e.
g. while shopping at the supermarket, which can then be transported to the Petromax Cooler Bag, and
finally cooled with ice. After the outdoor cooking experience, excess meltwater can be removed from
the Cooler Bag. With one flick of the wrist, the food in the Mesh Pouch is lifted out and the Cooler Bag
can be drained from excess water. The pouch is then reinserted into the Cooler Bag. Now, new ice cubes
can be added or the Mesh Pouch can be put aside to dry and clean, while the Cooler Bag can also dry.
Warranty
Under proper use, a warranty period of two years will apply to your Petromax Cooler Bag from the date
of purchase. This does not cover wearing parts. If your Petromax Cooler Bag cannot be used properly
due to defects in the material or manufacturing, you are entitled to a warranty claim. Please contact

Description du produit
Le Sac isotherme Petromax garde vos aliments et vos boissons au frais pendant très longtemps lors

Consignes de sécurité

• Convient pour pains de glace, la glace pilée et les glaçons.

Première utilisation
Avant la première utilisation essuyez le sac isotherme avec un chiffon humide et si nécessaire avec un
peu de liquide vaisselle. Bien sécher.

1. Des poignées de transport ergonomiques placées sur les côtés et sur le couvercle permettent de
déplacer aisément le Sac isotherme Petromax et de le poser de façon stable.
2. Une bandoulière, très pratique pour transporter le Sac Isotherme sur de longues distances

Mais attention, une forte pression sur le sac, un remplissage excessif ou un transport en position
inclinée pourrait influencer l'étanchéité.

Conseils d´utilisation pour une durée de réfrigération optimale
Pour une réfrigération parfaite lors de vos aventures en plein-air, veillez à respecter les instructions
suivantes lors de l´utilisation de votre Sac isotherme Petromax. Le non suivi d´une de ces consignes
pourrait réduire considérablement la capacité de refroidissement de votre Sac isotherme:
1. Réfrigérez le sac environ un jour avant de l´utiliser en le remplissant de glace ou en le stockant dans
un endroit froid (cave, garage, etc.).
2. Utilisez de gros morceaux de glace/glaçons. En effet plus ils sont de grosse taille et plus la durée
de refroidissement est longue.
3. Déposez de la glace sur le dessus du sac. Le froid descendant vers le bas, cela augmente le temps
de refroidissement.

Les boissons et les aliments à température ambiante réduisent fortement l´effet de refroidissement.
Placez-les donc suffisamment longtemps à l´avance dans votre réfrigérateur avant de les mettre
dans le Sac isotherme.
5. L´ouverture répétée du couvercle réduit également le temps de refroidissement.
6. N´exposez pas le Sac isotherme Petromax en plein soleil et préférez plutôt un endroit à l´ombre.
7. Si besoin, vous pouvez rajouter de la glace en cours d´excursion en veillant à vider au préalable un
peu d´eau de fonte du Sac isotherme.
8. Transportez et stockez toujours le Sac isotherme en position verticale.

Nettoyage, entretien et stockage
Pour une longévité optimale de votre Sac isotherme veuillez suivre les instructions d´utilisation et
nettoyez-le régulièrement.
Nettoyez le Sac isotherme à l´aide d´un chiffon humide. N´utilisez pas de produits agressifs et corrosifs.
Séchez-bien le Sac isotherme et rangez-le en position debout dans un endroit sec et aéré avec le
couvercle légèrement ouvert afin que toute humidité résiduelle puisse s´évaporer.
Si nécessaire nettoyez également le filet intérieur amovible avec un chiffon humide et éventuellement
avec un peu de liquide vaisselle. Laissez-bien sécher. Le filet ne passe pas en machine à laver.
Ne conservez pas d´aliments non emballés dans le filet.
Conditions de test durée de refroidissement
La capacité de refroidissement des Sacs isothermes Petromax kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 a été testée sur une
période de 6 jours selon la procédure recommandée dans ce mode d'emploi: " Conseils d´utilisation
pour une durée de réfrigération optimale".
Déroulement du test kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 :
1. kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 a été testé pendant 6 jours.
2. kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 a été rempli avec une quantité maximale de glace (gros glaçons) de 4 kg/10 kg.
Lors d'un deuxième test, le kx-bag22 a été rempli avec la moitié de la glace afin d'avoir un résultat
réaliste lorsque le sac isotherme est rempli.
3. La température ambiante pendant toute la période de test était d'environ 21 °C.

Les sacs isothermes kx-bag8/ kx-bag22 ont été ouverts une fois par jour pendant une courte période
afin de contrôler la température interne et l'état de la glace. Au cours des 3 premiers jours, la
température était inférieure à 4 °C/ 3°C. À titre de comparaison, cela correspond à la température
du compartiment le plus froid du réfrigérateur, juste au-dessus du bac à légumes.
5. Le test s´est terminé au bout de 6 jours et a montré une température de l'eau de fonte de 8
°C. À titre de comparaison, il s'agit de la température habituelle des aliments placés dans le com-
partiment supérieur du réfrigérateur. Lorsque la température extérieure est restée stable, les sacs
isothermes kx-bag8 sont restés performants pendant 4 jours. Lors du deuxième test du kx-bag22
avec seulement 5 kg de glaçons, le test s'est terminé après plus de 3 jours avec un résultat de la
température de l'eau glacée toujours à 8 °C.
Conclusion du test :
Avec une température extérieure constante de 21 °C et une quantité maximale de glace (gros glaçons),
le kx-bag8 a refroidi jusqu'à 4 jours et le kx-bag 22 jusqu'à 6 jours avec une température intérieure
inférieure à 8 °C. Les sacs isothermes ont été ouverts au maximum une fois par jour.

Petromax de manière judicieuse. Le Filet Amovible est solide, pliable et stable. Ainsi vous pouvez y
mettre vos aliments lors de vos achats au supermarché et le replacer ensuite dans le Sac isotherme
Petromax en le recouvrant de glace. Après avoir cuisiné à l'extérieur, l'eau de fonte en excédent peut
être vidée du Sac isotherme. Pour cela, il suffit de retirer le filet rempli avec vos aliments et de vider
l'excédent d'eau. Replacez-le ensuite dans le Sac isotherme. Remplissez à nouveau de glaçons.

Descripción del producto
La bolsa nevera Petromax mantiene tus alimentos y bebidas frescos durante mucho tiempo mientras

Modo de uso para una refrigeración prolongada
Siguiendo las siguientes instrucciones de uso de tu bolsa nevera Petromax, obtendrás un resultado de
refrigeración óptimo y de larga duración en función de las condiciones ambientales en tus aventuras al
aire libre. Ten en cuenta que cualquier variación de uno de los siguientes puntos puede acortar
significativamente la capacidad de refrigeración.
1. Antes de utilizarla, enfría la bolsa nevera al máximo durante aproximadamente un día, llenándola
de hielo o guardándola en un lugar frío (sótano, garaje, etc.).
2. Utiliza trozos de hielo grandes / cubitos de hielo para enfriar los alimentos. Cuanto más grandes
sean los trozos de hielo, mayor será el tiempo de refrigeración.

Coloca el hielo encima. Dado que el frío desciende hacia el fondo, se alargará así el tiempo de
refrigeración.
4. Las bebidas/Los alimentos a temperatura ambiente reducen mucho el efecto de refrigeración;
refrigéralos al máximo en el frigorífico antes de meterlos en la bolsa nevera.
5. Cada vez que abres la tapa de la bolsa nevera, se ve afectada la estabilidad de la temperatura en el
interior de la bolsa, por lo que te recomendamos abrirla solo en caso de necesidad y con la menor
frecuencia posible. Cuantas más veces la abras, más se acortará el tiempo de refrigeración.
6. No coloques la bolsa nevera al sol; ponla siempre a la sombra. La luz solar directa afecta la estabi-
lidad de la temperatura.
