Warranty
PhiBerManufacturingInc.warrantsitsproductstobefreefromdefectinfactory
workmanshipandmaterialundernormaluseandservice,whenset‐upandoperatedaccording
tofactoryinstructions.WarrantyshouldbehandledthroughPhiBeroranauthorizedselling
dealer.Warrantyissubjecttothefollowingconditions:
WarrantyClaims:Mustbecompletedwithin30daysofreplacementofpart(s).Claimmust
includeserialnumberofaccumulator,dateofdelivery,explanationofproblemandallother
necessaryparticulars.
WarrantyParts:MustbekeptforPhiBer’sinspectionunlessotherwisespecified.
WarrantyLabor:PhiBermustauthorizeanylaborsubjecttowarranty.PhiBerManufacturing
Inc.reservestherighttosetthelaborrateandtimerequiredtocompleteawarrantyrepair.
WarrantyLimitations:Warrantywillnotbegrantedonanyaccumulatorthathasbeenmisused,
altered,ormodifiedinanyway.Diagnosticandservicecallsarenotcoveredbywarranty.
Warrantycoversonlythecostofrepairandparts;itdoesnotincludeshopsupplies,mileage

VerticalStackingAccumulatorofferstheagriculturalindustryamachineforuniformlyarranging
balesintoadesiredpackagethatcanbehandledmoreefficiently.
Allpersonsauthorizedtooperatethisequipmentshouldreadandunderstandthecontentsof
thisOperator’sManual,especiallytheSafetysection.Theowneroroperatorshouldseek
assistancefromthedealer,distributororPhiBerforanyinformationnotfullyunderstood
regardingthesafeoperation,adjustment,maintenanceorrepairofthisequipment.
KeepthisOperator’sManualinaclean,dryplacethatiseasilyaccessibleforreferencewhen
moredetailedinformationisrequiredtoperformtasksrelatedtotheoperation,adjustment,
maintenanceorrepairofthisequipment.Itisfurtherrecommendedthatthecontentsofthis

DescriptionoftheMachine
Theoperatorcanchoosefromthreedifferentautomaticdischargepatternsormanuallyeject
thebales.WiththePhiBerVerticalStackingAccumulatoryoucanselectthedesiredbale
packagingmodethatwillcomplementthepreferredmethodofbalehandlinginthefield.
Therearetwooptionsofcontrol:automaticunloadingandmanualunloading.Thebalescanbe
unloadedwhenstacksoftwo,threeorfourbaleshavebeencompleted.Ifabaleishalfwayout
ofthebaler,ormore,theaccumulatorwillnotallowmanualdumpinguntilthatbalehas
completeditscycle.Automaticunloadingisrecommended.RefertoISOBUSSoftwareformore
informationonmanualandautomaticsettings.

Donotallowridersonanypartoftheaccumulator.
Ensureallguardsandshieldsareintactandinplacepriortooperatingtheaccumulator.
Keephands,feet,hairandlooseclothingawayfrommovingand/orrotatingparts.
Stoptheengine,lowertheequipment,settheparkingbrake,removetheignitionkey
andallowtimeformovingpartstostoppriortoadjusting,maintainingorrepairingthe
equipment.
Ensurethatallequipmentlightingandmarkingisintact,cleanandoperatingproperly
priortotravelingonpublicroads.Checkwithlocalhighwayauthoritiestoconfirmthat
theaccumulatorisproperlyequippedforhighwaytravel.
ProvideafullystockedFirst‐Aidkitinahighlyvisibleandeasilyaccessiblelocation.
Keepafullychargedfireextinguisherinahighlyvisibleandeasilyaccessiblelocation.
Ensurethattheaccumulatorissecurelyblockedandsupportedpriortoworking
underneath(ifitneedstoberaisedforrepair).
Ensurethatallpersonsoperating,adjusting,maintainingand/orrepairingthe
accumulatorknowhowtoseekorsummonmedicalassistanceshouldaninjuryoccur.
MaintenanceSafety
ReadandunderstandalloftheinformationprovidedinthisOperator’sManualcovering
theoperation,adjustment,maintenanceandrepairpriortoperforminganyofthese

Ensurepropertools,equipmentandpersonalprotectiveequipmentisavailablepriorto
workingontheaccumulator.

Stoptheengine,lowertheequipment,settheparkingbrake,removetheignitionkey
andallowtimeformovingpartstostoppriortoadjusting,maintainingorrepairingthe
equipment.
Ensurethatallmovingpartshavecometoacompletestopbeforeperforming
adjustments,maintenanceorrepairs.
Securelyblockmainframeifadjustment,maintenanceorrepairisrequiredforwheels
andtires.
Wearpersonalprotectiveequipment,suchasgloves,eyeprotection,etc.when
inspectinghydraulicsystemforleaks.Useasmallpieceofcardboardorwoodtodetect
leaks.
Priortooperatingequipment,ensurethatallguardsandshieldsareintactandinplace
afterperformingadjustment,maintenanceorrepairs.
Checkforbushingwearandweldmentfatigueonmovingparts.
Storeflammablefluidsinapprovedcontainersandstoreoutofaccessbyunauthorized
persons,especiallychildren.
Wearappropriateclothingwhenperformingtasksaroundtheaccumulator.Ill‐fitting
and/orfrayedclothingaswellaslooseordanglingitemsshouldnotbewornwhen
workingneartheequipment.
Ensurethathydraulicoilpressureinhoses,linesandcomponentsisfullyrelievedprior
toperformingmaintenanceorrepairstothehydraulicsystem.
HydraulicSafety
Ensurethatallhydraulicsystemcomponentsarekeptcleanandinproperworking
condition.
Periodicallyinspectconditionofhydraulichoses,linesandcomponents.Removeand
replaceanypartsshowingdamageordeterioration.

Useonlyrepairorreplacementpartsspecifiedbythemanufacturer.
Followinstructionsprovidedbythemanufacturerwhenmakingrepairs.
Wearappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipmentwhenunsureifresidualpressuremay
existinhydrauliccomponentsduringtrouble‐shootingand/ormakingrepairs.
Useapieceofcardboardorwoodtocheckforhydraulicleaks.Hydraulicfluidunder
pressurecanpenetratehumanskin.
Ensureallfittings,couplingsandotherhydraulicconnectionsareintactandproperly
tightenedbeforeoperatinghydraulics.
Storeflammablefluidsinapprovedcontainersandstoreoutofreachbyunauthorized
persons,especiallychildren.
Ensurethathydraulicoilpressureinhoses,linesandcomponentsisfullyrelievedprior
toperformingmaintenanceorrepairstothehydraulicsystem.
Ensurethatallpersonsoperating,adjusting,maintainingand/orrepairingthe
accumulatorknowhowtoseekorsummonmedicalassistanceshouldaninjuryoccur.
InstallationSafety
Read,reviewandunderstandallbaleaccumulatorinstallationinstructionsbefore
attemptingtoattachaccumulatortobaler.
Ensurethebalerisproperlyhitchedtothetractorandthatthebalerisloweredfullyto
theground.
Ensurethattractorengineisshutoff,keyisremovedfromtheignitionandtheparking
brakeissetand/orwheelsblocked.
Blockbaleaccumulatortiresandsupportthefrontendofthebaleaccumulatorframe
untiltheaccumulatorissecurelyattachedtothebaler.

TransportSafety
Ensurethattheaccumulatorisattachedtothebalerproperly.
Ensurethedrawbarhitchpinretainerforbalerisinplaceandengagedproperly.
Ensurethesafetytowchainissecurelyattachedbetweenbalerandtractor.
Ensurealllightingandimplementmarkingdevicesareintactandvisible.
Ensureequipmentisproperlymarkedaccordingtolocalroadregulationsandheedall
localtrafficregulations.
Theaccumulatoraddslengthtobalerandcoversawidepathwhenmakingturns.
Ensuretheaccumulatorisfullyunloadedbeforeroadtravel.
Donotexceed20mph(32km/h).
Reducetravelspeedonroughroadsandsurfaces.
Donotallowridersontheaccumulatoratanytime.
NOTE:
Avoidtravellingacrosssteepinclines,particularlywhen
accumulatorispartiallyloaded.
Whentravelling,locksteeringaxleonbaler.
Thisaccumulatormakeswideturns.
Comeonandoffapproachesorroadsslowly;toomuch
speedcancausethebalertotip.
