Here's what Marko (the force behind Artisan) said about Phidgets in June 2013
The Phidgets are up to now the fastest (in terms of communication speed) and cheapest 4 channel
option. They are also the only devices that communicate directly via USB instead of the slow and error
prune serial2USB connection all other meters are using. Phidgets are supported y Artisan from v0.7
on. From Artisan v0.8 on Phidgets can e remote accessed too, via Ethernet networking or WiFi using
another computer or a Phidget SBC. The Phidgets InterfaceKits (eg. SBC and 1018) are now also
supported.

Wiring your Phidget between your HUKY and your computer
Remo e the miniplugs from the ends of the thermocouples.
BT is at the bottom. ET in the middle. MET at the top.
Loosen the Screws

Insert the wires. BT goes into the right most set of two holes. Red wire to the left (marked 0; black to
the right (marked G)

Next connect ET. Red in the slot marked 1; black in the slot marked G

And lastly comes MET
