Before you put the appliance into operation
Important
This appliance is designed exclusively for storing bottles of wine. Do not use the appliance for purposes
other than those for which it was designed.
• Carefully study the user'smanual and installation instructions before installing and using the appliance!
This user'smanual includes important information regarding the installation, operation and maintenance
of the appliance. Store the user'smanual also for future reference or for other owners of the appliance if
the appliance is sold.
If the appliance is transported in ahorizontal position, the oil from the compressor may leak into
the cooling circuit. For this reason, allow the appliance to rest in avertical position for 12 hours
before turning it on, so that the oil ows back into the compressor.
After unpacking the appliance, carefully inspect that it has not been damaged in any way. Also
check that the power cord is not damaged. If you discover any defects, turn o the appliance
and contact the vendor or in the case of adamaged power cord contact the service centre. If the
appliance and all its parts are in order, install it according to the instructions in the relevant chapter.
• When installing the appliance in its place or when moving the appliance, there is arisk that the power cord
may be penetrated or damaged. Check that the power cord is not interfering anywhere.
• Before connecting the appliance to apower source, check that the capacity of the system corresponds to
the specications on the appliance'srating label.
• Any kinds of home electrical wiring necessary for the connection of the appliance must only be carried out
by aqualied electrician.
If you move the appliance from its usual position, it is necessary to understand, that although you
have disconnected the power cord, the components on the rear side of the appliance may remain
very hot for some time.
Do not cover or block the air inow or outow openings. Insucient ventilation will cause poor
operation and damage to the appliance.
If this appliance with a magnetic door gasket seal is to be replaced by an older appliance equipped with
aspring door latch on the door or cover, ensure that the spring door latch is put out of order before disposing
of the old appliance. In this way you will prevent this appliance from becoming alife threatening trap for
children.

WARNING
Risk of injury by broken glass! In the event that the appliance is operated at an altitude higher than
1100m, the glass door panels could break. The door may break. Resulting pieces have sharp edges and
may cause serious injuries. Be very careful.
Any changes to the specications or alterations of this product are dangerous.
This appliance is heavy. Be very careful when moving it.
Do not locate the appliance near radiators or gas burners.
Do not expose the appliance to long term direct sunlight.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use and similar facilities such as
– sta kitchens in stores, oces and similar environments
– farms and areas used by clients of hotels, motels and other accommodation areas
– bed and breakfast establishments
– catering and similar non-sale use.
• Keep burning candles, lamps and other items with an open ame out of range of the appliance to prevent
the appliance from catching on re.
• Parts that heat up during operation should not be accessible. Whenever possible, the rear side should face
awall.
Operating the appliance
• Use the appliance only for the purposes for which it has been designed.
• This appliance is designed only for household use, for storing bottles of wine.
• The temperature inside the wine cooler may rise or fall slightly and so these appliances are not suitable for
storing products (e.g. medicines), which require astable temperature.
Do not use any other electric appliances (e.g. heating elements, electric ice cream machines, etc.)
inside the appliance. There is adanger of explosion!
Do not place food inside the wine cooler containing ammable propulsion gases (e.g. sprays) and
no explosives, contaminants or volatile substances. There is adanger of explosion!
• Do not use the base, racks, door of the appliance, etc. as astep or as asupport. There is adanger of injury
to persons or damage to the appliance.
• Ensure that the plastic parts of the appliance and the door gasket seals are not soiled with oil or grease. The
plastic parts and the gasket seals would then become porous.
With respect to ambient temperature, you will achieve optimal temperature setting results as follows:

WARNING
In the event that the ambient temperature is not contained in the table for the given class of the
application, it is necessary to adhere to the following instructions: when the ambient temperature rises
to the maximum value, it is not possible to guarantee the storage temperature of the refrigerator and it
is then recommended to consume the stored foodstus as quickly as possible.
Do not subject the plastic parts of the appliance to high temperatures.
Do not load the bottles in such away that they are touching the rear wall.
It is necessary to strictly adhere to the recommendation for storage provided by appliance
manufacturers. Follow the respective instructions.
During normal operation, the compressor or condenser at the rear of the appliance will heat up.
For safety reasons, ensure at least the minimum level of ventilation as specied in the user'smanual.
Children in the household
• Never leave packaging and its parts with the children. There is adanger of poisoning or suocation by the
cardboard boxes and plastic sheets!
• This appliance is in no way atoy for children!
• For appliances with door locks: do not leave keys within the reach of children!
• If you will no longer be using the wine cooler, remove the door, gasket seals and store it in asafe place. In
this way you will prevent the danger of children becoming trapped inside the wine cooler.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before you begin with regular or exceptional maintenance, disconnect the appliance'spower cord
or disengage the fuse or circuit breaker. Never pull the electric power cord, only pull on the power
plug.
Do not clean the appliance using asteam cleaning device! The steam may come into contact with
the electric components inside the appliance, where ashort circuit could occur. There is adanger
of electric shock!
• This product must be repaired at an authorised service centre and only original spare parts may be used.
• Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Repairs carried out by
inexperienced persons may result in injury or serious defects. Contact an authorised service centre and
always demand original parts.
• This appliance contains apropulsive gas in the cooling circuit; thus maintenance and relling must only be
carried out by an authorised technician.
Important
In the event that the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced with the same type of power cord or
asimilar type and only by the manufacturer or his servicing agent.
General instructions
• This appliance must not be used by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or psychological
impairments or by inexperienced persons, unless properly trained or schooled in the safe use of the
appliance, or unless they have been properly supervised by aperson who will be responsible for their
safety. Children should be supervised so as not to play with the appliance.
• This appliance has been tested in accordance with the directives in force in the European Union.
• The tightness of the cooling circuit has been veried.
• This appliance conforms to the relevant safety provisions for electrical appliances in force in the European
Union.

Environmental protection
This appliance does not contain gasses that could damage the ozone layer, neither in the cooling circuit nor
in the insulation materials. Do not dispose of the appliance in ordinary household waste. The insulation foam
contains ammable gasses: the appliance must be disposed of according to regulations for such appliances
as required by local authorities. Take care not to damage the cooling circuit, especially the heat exchanger.
Materials used in the manufacture of this appliance marked with the symbol are recyclable.
Technical safety
The appliance contains acooling gas, ISOBUTHAN (R600a). Only transport or move the appliance with the
utmost care, prevent excessive impacts and shaking to prevent damaging the appliance. If the cooling circuit
becomes damaged and the cooling gas may be escaping, there is arisk of an explosion, which may be ignited
by aspark or ame. If the appliance shows signs of damage, it must not be put into operation. In such acase
contact the service centre, ventilate the room where the appliance is located and prevent the spreading of
ames or other interference with the appliance.
The inner lining of the appliance contains channels through which the coolant ows. If the channels were to
be penetrated, the appliance would be irreparably damaged and it would not be possible to repair it. DO NOT
USE SHARP ITEMS for removing ice deposits or ice. You can remove ice deposits using aspecial scraper. Under
no circumstances should you remove ice deposits from the inner lining. Allow the layer of ice to melt away
when defrosting the appliance.
Safety instructions for gas R600a
Measures in case of an unexpected release
If ventilation is possible, allow the material to evaporate.
Characteristics of the gas
The gas is highly ammable, it is necessary to completely prevent contact with an open ame and hot surfaces.
Because the R600a gas is heavier than air, it may become very concentrated at the level of the ground, where
ventilation is weak.
First aid
Inhalation
Take the aected person from the contaminated area to a warm, well ventilated location. Staying in
a contaminated location for a long time may cause suocation or potentially loss of consciousness. If
necessary, provide mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and in exceptionally serious situations, under expert
medical supervision, give oxygen.
Contact with the skin
Accidental contact with the skin is not hazardous to health. Thoroughly wash the aected area with water. The
liquid spray or dispersed liquid may cause frost bite, wash the aected area with large amounts of water and
contact amedical doctor.
Contact with the eyes
If eyes have been aected, wash out with large amounts of water, while trying to keep the eyes open, and call
aspecialised doctor as soon as possible. If contact or inhalation of the R600a gas occurs, contact your medical
doctor.

PART 3: INSTALLATION
Transport and unpacking
• If the appliance is transported in a horizontal position the oil from the compressor may leak into the
cooling circuit. For this reason, allow the appliance to rest in avertical position for 12 hours before turning
it on, so that the oil ows back into the compressor.
• Remove the external packaging, remove the protective plastic lm from the surface of the appliance (if
used) and clean the external parts of the appliance with an agent designed for this purpose. Do not use
steel wool or any coarse agents, which could irreparably damage the surface of the appliance. Carefully
remove all papers and adhesive tape from the appliance, door and other parts packed in polystyrene.
Remove documents and accessories from inside the appliance.
• The packaging material is recyclable and is marked with arecycling symbol. For disposal, follow the local
regulations. Packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc.) must be kept out of the reach of
children, because they present apossible source of danger.
• Carefully inspect the appliance. If you discover any faults, stop the installation and contact the vendor.
Operating conditions
Proper operation of the appliance is guaranteed only if the following conditions are met:
• The temperature in the room where the appliance is located conforms to the climate class stated on the
appliance'srating label.
• Maximum ambient relative humidity: 90%.
• The appliance must be placed at asucient distance from heat sources (e.g. baking ovens, central heating,
direct sunlight, etc.).
• The appliance must be located in such alocation that it is protected against the eects of weather.
• Regular maintenance is performed according to the instructions in this user'smanual.
• The ventilation openings in the cover of the appliance must not be covered by anything.
• Correct installation (e.g. levelling, the capacity of the system corresponds to the specications on the
rating label of the appliance).
Installation location
To ensure sucient ventilation around the appliance, leave aclearance
of 100mm on the sides and the top of the appliance and 50mm at the
rear wall of the appliance.
Ensure that the oor is stable and has asucient load capacity for
the appliance.
The appliance needs to be levelled with an backward leaning incline
to enable the door to close. The four adjustable feet enable the
appliance to be levelled. All four feet provide stability and reduce
vibrations.

ATTENTION
Move the appliance into position, level it, wait at least four hours and then connect it to apower socket.
If necessary, contact the customer service to set the door opening direction for you.
• Check whether any cooling circulation pipes have been damaged during the installation.
• Use the appliance only for the purposes for which it has been designed.
• The appliance must be located on arigid and even surface.
• In this way you will ensure free circulation of the coolant and eective operation of your appliance.
• If possible, place the appliance into acool, well ventilated and dry room.
• Do not locate the appliance in direct sunlight, or in aroom with ahigh temperature, in the vicinity of any
sources of direct heat, such as heating, an oven, astove, etc. – this would mean that the compressor would
need to work alot harder resulting asubstantially higher power consumption level.
If it is not possible to prevent the installation in the vicinity of aheat source, we recommend the insertion of an
appropriate insulating board (do not use asbestos) between the appliance and the heat source; or at least to
maintain the following minimum distances:
• From agas or electric stove 3 cm;
• From aheater or oven, etc. 30 cm;
• From another cooling appliance 2 cm.
Do not place any appliances on the appliance, which emit heat on to the appliance, such as
microwave ovens, toasters, etc.
Never cover the ventilation grill. Pull out the power plug by pulling on the plug itself, never pull on
the cord when disconnecting the appliance.
Before turning on the appliance allow it to stand in its nal location for 12 hours, the coolant circuit will stabilise
in this way and no operating problems will occur. Before connecting the appliance to the power grid, check
that it is perfectly dry inside – especially in the corners.
DANGER WARNING
The coolant may be highly ammable, depending on its composition. The coolant circuit was
hermetically closed and sealed and was tested many times for possible leaks. Any unqualied tampering
with the product may cause are hazard. Check that there is no mechanical interruption or eect on the
coolant circulation, namely in the accessible parts around the compressor.
Only professionally qualied persons may work on the cooling system.
Cleaning before use
Check that you have removed from the appliance all adhesive tape used to hold accessories .Then clean all the
inside parts using lukewarm water with aneutral cleaning agent, vinegar or sodium carbonate – in this way
you will remove the characteristic odour of new parts – then dry carefully. Do not use detergents or aggressive
agents, which could damage the surfaces.

Electrical connection
Before connecting the power plug to the power socket, check that:
• Your hands are completely dry.
• The voltage and frequency shown on the rating label of the appliance corresponds to that in the home
power grid (permitted tolerance from -6% to +6% for nominal voltage, for use with dierent voltages, use
avoltage converter with the corresponding parameters).
• The cord and the plug are not damaged or caught under heavy objects.
• The power cord is not excessively tensioned, it is not permitted to use an extension cord.
Do not connect the appliance to avoltage rectier (e.g. solar power plant) or use an extension cord.
• The appliance must be connected to aworking grounding lead.
• If the power socket of the home system is not grounded in accordance with the current legal regulations,
only connect the appliance after consulting with aspecialised technician about the grounding lead itself.
• The manufacturer takes no responsibility for injuries caused as aresult of not following these instructions.
If you do not correctly level the appliance during the installation, the door may not close shut and
seal properly, which may cause problems with the cooling, ice build up or moisture. Levelling the
appliance is very important.
Installing the door handle
There is a door handle in your appliance, you can install it according to the following procedure.
1. Unscrew the two screws with screwdriver.
2. Installing the door handle on the door with the screws.
3. Do a nal check to make sure that all screws are tightened.

Changing the door opening direction
Before starting this process, unplug the power cord plug from the power socket. To change the door opening
direction, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the two screws at the rear of the top cover.
2. Push the top cover forwards until it is released. And move the small washer from left to right. Then put the
top cover down in asafe location where it will not be damaged.
3. Remove the two screw covers.
4. Remove the two screws and take o the handle. Put the handle in asafe place.

5. Transfer the hole covers from the left side to the right side.
6. Screw out and remove the hinge, then lift up the door and put it down on asoft surface to prevent it being
damaged. Put the hinge and the screws in asafe place.
7. Remove the small cover and insert it into the other side of the door.
8. Turn the door around, remove the doorstopper screws. Reinstall the doorstopper on the opposite side of
the door using the same screws.

9. Mount the handle on the left side, insert the plastic covers contained in the plastic bag with the manual.
10. Place the appliance on asoft mat or similar item, to protect it against damage. Screw out and take out the
bottom hinge pin and install it into the other hole.
11. Remove the screws holding the bottom hinge and remove the bottom hinge together with the adjustable
foot.
12. Move the foot from left to right and mount it in the right hole as shown in the picture.
13. Use screws to mount the bottom hinge on the other side.

14. Remove the top hinge pin. Turn the hinge around and insert the pin.
15. Seat the door on the bottom hinge. Hold the door against the body of the appliance and insert the hinge
into the door. The right and left side of the door must be ush with the sides of the body of the appliance.
And then securely fasten the top hinge.
16. Place the top cover on to the top of the appliance and push it in backwards until it is secured by the
mounting hinges.
17. Screw on the top cover using two screws.
ATTENTION
After changing the door opening direction, check that all screws are securely tightened, that the
magnetic gasket seal ts tightly to the body of the appliance. If the ambient temperature is low (e.g. in
winter), the gasket seal may not t tightly against the body of the appliance. If this happens, wait for the
gasket seal to straighten out naturally.

PART 4: CONTROLS
Turning On / O
The appliance will turn on automatically after the power cord is connected to apower socket.
ATTENTION
To prevent damaging the compressor, after turning o the appliance wait at least 5 minutes before
turning it on again.
Temperature regulation
Repeatedly press the " " button to set to temperature of the top zone.
Repeatedly press the " " button to set to temperature of the bottom zone.
Correct temperature settings inside the appliance also depend on the following factors:
• Room temperature
• Door opening frequency
• Amount of bottles stored inside
• Installation location of the appliance
Operation
Arranging the wine
Load the wine bottles as shown in the picture below.

• Keep the bottles in the dark. The door glazing is made from darkened triple pane anti-UV glass, that
protects wine against light in the event that the wine cooler is located in avery well lit location.
• Place the bottles so that the corks inside the bottles do not remain dry.
• Avoid turning on the light inside too frequently or for too long. It is better to keep the wine in the dark.
• Handle the bottles with care, to prevent mixing the wine.
• Adhere to the recommendations and advice that you received when you purchased the wine or advice
provided in the technical documentation regarding quality, optimal storage time and temperature for the
wine.

Storage advice
Wine storage time depends on the wine'sage, type of grape, alcohol content, and the fructose and tannin
content in the wine. When purchasing awine, check whether the wine is already mature or whether it still
needs time.
Recommended storage temperature:
– Champagne and sparkling wines, between 6 and 8°C
– White wines, between 10 and 12°C
– Red and rosé wines, between 12 and 16°C
– Vintage red wines, between 14 and 16°C
If you place bottles on each other, make sure that the bottles are not touching the cooling element.
Internal lighting
The internal area can be lit up in several ways:
1. The internal light is automatically lit for 5 minutes when the wine cooler is turned on.
2. The internal light can be turned on and o using the Light On/O button.
3. The internal light will turn on immediately when the door is opened. It will turn o automatically 10
minutes after the door is opened.
4. The internal light will turn o 5 minutes after the door is closed.
Changing the temperature unit °F/°C
You can change the temperature measuring unit from °F to °C by pressing the °F/°C button.
Turning o
Turn o the appliance and disconnect the power cord from the power socket.
Internal accessories
Racks can be taken out for easy maintenance.

PART 5: REGULAR MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the appliance
Before commencing to clean the refrigerator disconnect it from the power source.
• Wipe the internal surface of the appliance with a soft sponge lightly dipped in a table salt solution.
Add 2 tablespoons of table salt into 1 litre of warm water.
• Wash the racks in warm water with asmall amount of kitchen dishwashing liquid, rinse and wipe dry.
Allow the wooden racks (if the wine cooler has them) to dry completely before returning them to the wine
cooler.
• All parts that you wash with asoft sponge lightly dipped in water must be properly wiped dry.
• Wipe the outer surface with asoft sponge lightly dipped in water with asmall amount of dishwashing
liquid. Wipe dry using aclean cloth.
• Regularly clean the compressor using abrush or vacuum cleaner. Regular maintenance will improve the
performance of the appliance including energy savings.
ATTENTION
Do not use steel wool or sponges with steel wool on stainless steel surfaces. They could damage the
surface.
Do not use cleaning waxes, concentrated cleaning agents, bleaches or cleaning products containing
kerosene on the plastic or rubber parts.
Never use paper towels or window cleaners on the plastic parts.
The use of steam cleaning appliances is extremely dangerous and so is strictly forbidden.
Power outage
Most power outages are rectied within afew hours and should not have an eect on the temperature inside
the appliance if you limit its ventilation. However, in the event of an extended power outage it is necessary to
take appropriate steps to prevent the contents inside the appliance from spoiling.
Taking out of operation for an extended period
When not using the refrigerator for an extended period of time, do the following:
Disconnect the refrigerator from the power source by pulling it out of the power socket. Clean out the inside
and dry it out as described in the part Cleaning the refrigerator. Leave the door open to prevent an unpleasant
odour forming inside.
Safety instructions for replacing the light
• For safety reasons the appliance is supplied with aspecial light that is specially tested and certied for
exclusive use.
• It may only be replaced for alight of the same type with the same characteristics.
• The light may only be replaced by an authorised service technician.

Moving
• Before moving it, it is necessary to remove all contents from the appliance.
• Secure freely moving parts inside the appliance (racks), e.g. using adhesive tape.
• To prevent damage, screw in the levelling feet.
• Secure the door, e.g. using adhesive tape.
• Ensure that the appliance always remains in avertical position while being transported. To prevent the
appliance from damage during transport you can cover it with ablanket or another soft textile.
Energy saving tips
• Locate the appliance away from sources of heat and out of direct sunlight.
• Ensure sucient ventilation. Under no circumstances should you cover the ventilation openings.
• Only open the door when necessary. Do not leave the door open for along time or open / close the door
too often.

PART 6: WHAT SHOULD IDO WHEN...
If the appliance is not working as it should, prior to calling an authorised service centre, read the instructions
below, which will help you remedy the most common problems with the appliance. However, should the
problem persist or you are unable to remedy it yourself, immediately turn the appliance o, disconnect it from
the power socket and contact an authorised service centre.
Under no condition should you repair the appliance yourself.
Important
The noise from the compressor and cooling circuit during operation is normal and does not constitute
adefect.
Problem Possible solution Remedy
The wine is too warm.
The temperature is set

The door was left open for
along time. Only open the door for the time really needed.

gasket seal using ahair dryer (not hotter than
50°C) whilst simultaneously moulding the
heated gasket seal with your hands to make it
t correctly.
Unusual sounds.
The appliance is not level. Level it using the feet.
The appliance is touching awall
or other objects. Move the appliance.
Some of the parts on the rear
side of the appliance, e.g. tubes
are touching adierent part of
the appliance or awall.
If necessary, carefully bend the part so that it
is not in the way.
The compressor starts
immediately after the
temperature is set.
This is normal, this is not
amalfunction. The compressor starts after acertain interval.
There is water on the
oor. The water drain hole is clogged. See chapter "Cleaning".
