-Only use the accessories supplied with the
product.
-Only use original Philips accessories or
consumables.
-Only operate this product on disposable 1.5V AA
alkaline batteries.
-Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
-Keep product and batteries away from re and
do not expose them to direct sunlight or high
temperatures.
-If the product becomes abnormally hot or smelly,
or changes color, stop using the product and
contact Philips.
-Do not place products and their batteries in
microwave ovens or on induction cookers.
-Do not modify, pierce, damage or dismantle
the product or battery to prevent batteries
from heating up or releasing toxic or hazardous
substances. Do not short-circuit, overcharge or
reverse charge batteries.
-If batteries are damaged or leaking, avoid contact
with the skin or eyes. If this occurs, immediately
rinse well with water and seek medical care.
-When you handle batteries, make sure that your
hands, the product and the batteries are dry.
-Insert batteries with the + and - poles pointing
in the direction indicated in the battery
compartment or holder.
-Do not mix dierent brands and types of batteries,
do not mix new and used batteries and do not use
batteries with dierent date codes.
-Remove batteries from the product if you are not
going to use it for some time.
-To avoid accidental short-circuiting of batteries
after removal, do not let battery terminals come
into contact with metal objects (e.g. coins,
hairpins, rings). Do not wrap batteries in aluminum
foil. Tape battery terminals or put batteries in a
plastic bag before you discard them.
-Do not leave empty disposable batteries inside the
product.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-Rinse the cutting element of the trimming head
with lukewarm water after each use (Fig. 2).
-Be careful to always keep the cutting element
away from eyes and eyelashes.
-For hygienic reasons, the product should only be
used by one person.
-Apply gentle pressure. Pressing too hard may
cause skin irritation, and the trimmer will not
function properly.
-Do not use trimmer on sensitive areas or irritated
skin.

compartment by removing the lower part of the
handle.

the bottom of the packaging, your receipt or order
conrmation.

Preparing for use
Inserting the battery
Note: Make sure your hands and product are dry
when you insert the battery.
1 To remove the battery compartment cover (Fig. 3),
turn it clockwise until the setting indicator points
to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^) (Fig. 4).
2 Pull the battery compartment cover o the handle
(Fig. 5).
3 Put the battery in the battery compartment
(Fig. 6).
Make sure the + and - poles of the battery point in
the right direction.
Note: The product operates on one replaceable
lithium AA 1.5-volt battery (included).
4 Reattach the battery compartment cover to
the bottom of the handle (Fig. 7) and turn it
counterclockwise until the setting indicator points
to the ‘locked‘ indication (0) (Fig. 8).
Using the product
Use product only in dry condition. Do not use while
bathing or in a shower.
Use the product for the following purposes:
-Trimming your ear, nose and neck hair with the
cutting element of the trimming head.
-Trimming your eyebrows with the eyebrow guard
attached to the cutting element of the trimming
head.
Note: The nose trimmer is not designed to clean-
shave your nostrils or ear channels, but to cut the hairs
to a shorter length. Nose and ear hairs have important
protective functions and should not be fully removed.
Switching the product on and o
1 To switch on the product, slide the on/o slide
upwards. (Fig. 9)
2 To switch o the product, slide the on/o slide
downwards. (Fig. 10)
Detaching and attaching the attachments
Note: Switch o the product before you detach or
attach the attachments.
Detaching the trimming head
1 To detach the trimming head from the handle,
rmly grasp the attachment below the cutting
element and turn it until the setting indicator
points to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^).
2 Lift the attachment o the handle (Fig. 11).
Attaching the trimming head
1 To attach the trimming head to the handle, place
the attachment on the handle with the setting
indicator pointing to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^).
2 Firmly grasp the attachment below the cutting
element and turn it until the setting indicator
points to the ‘locked‘ indication (0) (Fig. 12).
Tip: If the trimming head becomes clogged, detach
the trimming head and rinse it thoroughly with warm
water before you reattach it.
Trimming eyebrows with the eyebrow
combs
1 Comb your eyebrows in the direction of hair
growth (Fig. 13).
2 Make sure the product is switched o. Slide the
eyebrow comb onto the cutting element (Fig. 14).
The short eyebrow comb trims the hairs to a
length of 3mm. The long eyebrow comb trims the
hairs to a length of 5mm.
Note: Make sure the comb clicks into place.
3 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
4 Place the trimmer in a position perpendicular to
your face. Make sure that the back of the comb lies
at on the skin (Fig. 15).
5 Slowly move the trimmer against the hair growth
direction (Fig. 16). Press lightly and make sure that
the at surface of the comb always stays in contact
with the skin.
6 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Trimming ear hair
Make sure your outer ear channels are clean and free
from wax.
Note: If there is an eyebrow comb on the cutting
element, remove it before trimming nose or ear hair
(Fig. 17).
1 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
2 Slowly move the cutting element along the rim of
the ear to remove hairs that stick out beyond the
rim.
3 Carefully insert the cutting element into the outer
ear channel. Move the tip in and out of the outer
ear channel in a rm, rotary motion to cut the hairs
to a shorter length (Fig. 18).
Do not insert the cutting element too deep
into your ear channel, as this could damage the
eardrum (max. 12mm).
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Trimming nose hair
Make sure both the product and nasal passages are
clean before trimming. Dried nasal mucus can block
the cutting element, preventing the product from
turning on.
Note: If there is an eyebrow comb on the cutting
element, remove it before trimming nose or ear hair
(Fig. 17).
1 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
2 Carefully insert the cutting element into one of
your nostrils.
Do not insert the cutting element too deep into
the nostrils (max. 12mm).
3 Move the cutting element in and out of the nostril
in a rm, rotary motion to cut the hairs to a shorter
length. Make sure that the cutting teeth touch
the hair by rotating the trimming head inside your
nostril. While rotating you may hold the at side of
the trimmer against the skin to reduce any tickling
eect that might occur.
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Cleaning
Cleaning the trimming head
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any
other liquid, or rinse it under the tap. Only the
trimming head and attachments can be rinsed
under the tap.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents
or aggressive liquids such as gasoline or acetone to
clean the product.
Do not tap on the cutting elements.
Do not use any sharp objects to clean the cutting
elements.
Never dry the cutting unit with a towel or tissue, as
this may damage the trimming teeth.
Clean the product immediately after use and when
a lot of hair or dirt has accumulated on the cutting
element.
5 Rinse the cutting element of the trimming head
with lukewarm tap water (Fig. 20).
6 Switch on the product and rinse the cutting
element again to remove any remaining hairs.
Then switch o the product again.
Tip: For a thorough clean, immerse the trimming
head in a glass with warm water for ca. 30 minutes
to soak and soften the debris (Fig. 21). Be careful not
to immerse the handle in water. Then switch on the
appliance and rinse the cutting element under the tap
to remove stubborn hair/debris.
7 Rinse the combs with lukewarm tap water
(Fig. 22).
8 Carefully shake o excess water and let all parts
air-dry (Fig. 23). Let all parts dry completely before
you use the product again.
Storage
Store the product in a safe, dry location, using the
pouch provided. Make sure that the product and
accessories are completely dry before you insert them
into the pouch.
Attach the eyebrow comb to the cutting element to
protect the cutting teeth during storage.
Disposal
Your product is designed and manufactured with
high quality materials and components, which can be
recycled and reused. For recycling information, please
contact your local waste management facilities or visit
www.recycle.philips.com.
This product contains batteries:
-Dispose of batteries properly. Do not incinerate.
Batteries may explode if overheated.
-Do not wrap in metal or aluminum foil. Tape the
waste battery terminals before discarding.
-It is suggested that you contact your local town or
city to determine proper battery redemption site(s)
in your area.
Removing the disposable battery
To remove the disposable battery, see chapter
‘Preparing for use‘.

for a period of two years after the date of
purchase. If any defect due to faulty materials and
workmanship occurs within this two-year warranty
period, Philips North America LLC (USA) and/
or Philips Electronics Ltd (Canada) will repair or
replace the product at its expense.
-Philips North America LLC (USA) and/or Philips
Electronics Ltd (Canada) will only pay for repair
or replacement if convincing proof is provided,
for instance by means of a receipt, that the day
on which service is claimed is within the warranty
period. Parts that are subject to wear (such as
cutting units and shaving heads) are not covered
by the terms of the international warranty.
-The warranty is not valid if a defect is due
to damage caused by incorrect use, poor
maintenance (e.g. parts blocked by scale) or if
alterations or repairs have been carried out by
persons not authorized by Philips North America

-For the appliance to be used correctly, the user
should strictly adhere to all instructions included

-Rincez le bloc tondeuse de la tête de tonte avec de
l’eau tiède après chaque utilisation (g. 2).
-Veillez à maintenir le bloc tondeuse à distance des
yeux et des cils.
-Pour des raisons d’hygiène, l’appareil ne doit être

-Appliquez une légère pression. Une pression trop
forte peut causer un risque d’irritation cutanée et
pourrait compromettre le bon fonctionnement de
la tondeuse.

Avant l‘utilisation
Insertion de la pile
Remarque: Assurez-vous que vos mains et l’appareil
sont bien secs lorsque vous insérer la pile.
1 Pour retirer le couvercle du compartiment à pile
(g. 3), faites-le tourner dans le sens horaire
jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur de réglage soit aligné
sur «déverrouillé» (^) (g. 4).
2 Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à pile du
manche (g. 5).
3 Insérez la pile dans le compartiment (g. 6).
Veillez à respecter la polarité de la pile.
Remarque: L’appareil fonctionne avec une pile au
lithium AA de 1,5volt remplaçable (comprise).
4 Remettez en place le couvercle du compartiment
de la pile dans le bas du manche (g. 7) et tournez-
le dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre
jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur de réglage soit aligné
sur «verrouillée» (0) (g. 8).
Utilisation de l’appareil
Utilisez l’appareil uniquement à sec. Ne l’utilisez
pas pendant que vous prenez un bain ou une
douche.
Utilisez l’appareil pour les fonctions suivantes:
-Couper les poils des oreilles, du nez et du cou à
l’aide du bloc tondeuse de la tête de tonte.
-Tailler les sourcils avec le protège-sourcils xé au
bloc tondeuse de la tête de tonte.
Remarque: La tondeuse pour le nez n’est pas conçue
pour raser les poils des narines ou des oreilles, mais
pour les couper plus court. Les poils de nez et des
oreilles ont un rôle important de protection et ne
doivent pas être complètement retirés.
Mise en marche et arrêt de l’appareil
1 Pour allumer l’appareil, faites glisser le bouton
coulissant marche/arrêt vers le haut. (g. 9)
2 Pour éteindre l’appareil, faites glisser le bouton
coulissant marche/arrêt vers le bas. (g. 10)
Retrait et xation des accessoires
Remarque: Éteignez l’appareil avant de xer ou de
retirer les accessoires.
Retrait de la tête de tonte
1 Pour détacher la tête de tonte du manche,
saisissez fermement l’accessoire sous le bloc
tondeuse et tournez-le jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur
de réglage pointe sur «déverrouillé» (^).
2 Détachez l’accessoire du manche (g. 11).
Fixation de la tête de tonte
1 Pour xer la tête de tonte au manche, placez
l’accessoire sur le manche avec l’indicateur de
réglage pointant sur «déverrouillé» (^).
2 Saisissez fermement l’accessoire sous le bloc
tondeuse et tournez-le jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur
de réglage pointe sur «verrouillé» (0) (g. 12).
Suggestion: Si la tête de tonte devient obstruée,
détachez-la et rincez-la soigneusement à l’eau tiède
avant de la remettre en place.
Taille des sourcils avec peigne pour
sourcils
1 Peignez vos sourcils dans le sens de leur pousse
(g. 13).
2 Assurez-vous que l’appareil est bien éteint. Fixez
le peigne pour sourcils en le faisant glisser dans
le bloc tondeuse (g. 14). Le petit peigne pour
sourcils coupe les poils à une longueur de 3mm.
Le grand peigne pour sourcils coupe les poils à une
longueur de 5mm.
Remarque: Assurez-vous que le peigne se mette
en place avec un déclic.
3 Allumez l’appareil (g. 9).
4 Placez la tondeuse de sorte qu’elle soit
perpendiculaire à votre visage. Assurez-vous que le
dos du peigne repose à plat sur la peau (g. 15).
5 Déplacez lentement la tondeuse dans le sens
contraire de la pousse des poils (g. 16). Appuyez
doucement et veillez à ce que la surface plane du
peigne reste toujours en contact avec la peau.
6 Nettoyez soigneusement l’appareil après chaque
utilisation (voir «Nettoyage»).
Coupe des poils des oreilles
Assurez-vous que vos oreilles sont propres et
exemptes de cérumen.
Remarque: S’il y a un peigne pour sourcils sur la tête
de tonte, retirez-le avant de tailler les poils de votre
nez ou de vos oreilles (g. 17).
1 Allumez l’appareil (g. 9).
2 Déplacez lentement le bloc tondeuse le long de
l’oreille pour couper les poils superus.
3 Introduisez légèrement le bloc tondeuse dans
l’oreille. Avec des mouvements fermes et
circulaires, déplacez la tête dans le conduit auditif
externe de votre oreille pour couper les poils
superus (g. 18).
N’introduisez pas le bloc tondeuse trop
profondément dans votre oreille, car cela peut
endommager le tympan (max. 12mm).
4 Nettoyez soigneusement l’appareil après chaque
utilisation (voir «Nettoyage»).
Coupe des poils du nez
Assurez-vous que l’appareil et vos narines sont
propres avant de couper les poils de votre nez. Le
mucus nasal séché peut bloquer le bloc tondeuse, ce
qui peut empêcher l’appareil de s’allumer.
Remarque: S’il y a un peigne pour sourcils sur la tête
de tonte, retirez-le avant de tailler les poils de votre
nez ou de vos oreilles (g. 17).
1 Allumez l’appareil (g. 9).
2 Introduisez soigneusement le bloc tondeuse dans
l’une de vos narines.
N’introduisez pas le bloc tondeuse trop
profondément dans vos narines (max. 12mm).
3 Déplacez lentement le bloc tondeuse à l’intérieur
de chaque narine à l’aide de mouvements fermes
et circulaires pour couper les poils superus.
Assurez-vous que les dents touchent les poils en
tournant la tête de tonte dans votre narine. Tenez
fermement le côté plat de la tondeuse appuyé
contre la peau. Cela réduira la sensation de
chatouillement qui peut être ressentie.
4 Nettoyez soigneusement l’appareil après chaque
utilisation (voir «Nettoyage»).
Nettoyage
Nettoyage de la tête de tonte
Ne plongez jamais le bloc moteur dans de l‘eau,
ni dans d‘autres liquides et ne le rincez pas sous
le robinet. Seuls la tête de tonte et les accessoires
peuvent être rincés sous le robinet.
N’utilisez jamais de tampons à récurer, de
nettoyants abrasifs ou de produits puissants
comme de l’essence ou de l’acétone pour nettoyer
l’appareil.
Ne tapez pas sur le bloc tondeuse.
N‘utilisez pas d‘objet pointu pour nettoyer le bloc
tondeuse.
N’essuyez jamais le bloc tondeuse à l’aide d’une
serviette ou d’un mouchoir, car vous risqueriez
d’endommager les dents.
Nettoyez l’appareil immédiatement après utilisation
et lorsqu’une quantité importante de poils ou de
poussière s’est accumulée dans le bloc tondeuse.
1 Rincez le bloc tondeuse de la tête de tonte à l’eau
tiède (g. 20).
2 Allumez l’appareil et rincez le bloc tondeuse
encore une fois pour retirer les poils. Puis éteignez
l’appareil à nouveau.
Suggestion: Pour un nettoyage en profondeur,
plongez la tête de tonte dans un verre d’eau chaude
pendant environ 30minutes pour faire tremper et
ramollir les saletés (g. 21). Veillez à ne pas immerger
le manche dans l’eau. Allumez ensuite l’appareil et
rincez le bloc tondeuse sous le robinet an de retirer
les poils et saletés.
3 Rincez les peignes à l’eau tiède (g. 22).
4 Retirez l’excès d’eau en secouant soigneusement

Note: Make sure your hands and product are dry
when you insert the battery.
1 To remove the battery compartment cover (Fig. 3),
turn it clockwise until the setting indicator points
to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^) (Fig. 4).
2 Pull the battery compartment cover o the handle
(Fig. 5).
3 Put the battery in the battery compartment
(Fig. 6).
Make sure the + and - poles of the battery point in
the right direction.
Note: The product operates on one replaceable
lithium AA 1.5-volt battery (included).
4 Reattach the battery compartment cover to
the bottom of the handle (Fig. 7) and turn it
counterclockwise until the setting indicator points
to the ‘locked‘ indication (0) (Fig. 8).
Using the product
Use product only in dry condition. Do not use while
bathing or in a shower.
Use the product for the following purposes:
-Trimming your ear, nose and neck hair with the
cutting element of the trimming head.
-Trimming your eyebrows with the eyebrow guard
attached to the cutting element of the trimming
head.
Note: The nose trimmer is not designed to clean-
shave your nostrils or ear channels, but to cut the hairs
to a shorter length. Nose and ear hairs have important
protective functions and should not be fully removed.
Switching the product on and o
1 To switch on the product, slide the on/o slide
upwards. (Fig. 9)
2 To switch o the product, slide the on/o slide
downwards. (Fig. 10)

Note: Switch o the product before you detach or
attach the attachments.
Detaching the trimming head
1 To detach the trimming head from the handle,
rmly grasp the attachment below the cutting
element and turn it until the setting indicator
points to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^).
2 Lift the attachment o the handle (Fig. 11).
Attaching the trimming head
1 To attach the trimming head to the handle, place
the attachment on the handle with the setting
indicator pointing to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^).
2 Firmly grasp the attachment below the cutting
element and turn it until the setting indicator
points to the ‘locked‘ indication (0) (Fig. 12).
Tip: If the trimming head becomes clogged, detach
the trimming head and rinse it thoroughly with warm
water before you reattach it.
Trimming eyebrows with the eyebrow
combs
1 Comb your eyebrows in the direction of hair
growth (Fig. 13).
2 Make sure the product is switched o. Slide the
eyebrow comb onto the cutting element (Fig. 14).
The short eyebrow comb trims the hairs to a
length of 3mm. The long eyebrow comb trims the
hairs to a length of 5mm.
Note: Make sure the comb clicks into place.
3 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
4 Place the trimmer in a position perpendicular to
your face. Make sure that the back of the comb lies
at on the skin (Fig. 15).
5 Slowly move the trimmer against the hair growth
direction (Fig. 16). Press lightly and make sure that
the at surface of the comb always stays in contact
with the skin.
6 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Trimming ear hair
Make sure your outer ear channels are clean and free
from wax.
Note: If there is an eyebrow comb on the cutting
element, remove it before trimming nose or ear hair
(Fig. 17).
1 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
2 Slowly move the cutting element along the rim of
the ear to remove hairs that stick out beyond the
rim.
3 Carefully insert the cutting element into the outer
ear channel. Move the tip in and out of the outer
ear channel in a rm, rotary motion to cut the hairs
to a shorter length (Fig. 18).
Do not insert the cutting element too deep
into your ear channel, as this could damage the
eardrum (max. 12mm).
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Trimming nose hair
Make sure both the product and nasal passages are
clean before trimming. Dried nasal mucus can block
the cutting element, preventing the product from
turning on.
Note: If there is an eyebrow comb on the cutting
element, remove it before trimming nose or ear hair
(Fig. 17).
1 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
2 Carefully insert the cutting element into one of
your nostrils.
Do not insert the cutting element too deep into
the nostrils (max. 12mm).
3 Move the cutting element in and out of the nostril
in a rm, rotary motion to cut the hairs to a shorter
length. Make sure that the cutting teeth touch
the hair by rotating the trimming head inside your
nostril. While rotating you may hold the at side of
the trimmer against the skin to reduce any tickling
eect that might occur.
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Cleaning
Cleaning the trimming head
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any
other liquid, or rinse it under the tap. Only the
trimming head and attachments can be rinsed
under the tap.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents
or aggressive liquids such as gasoline or acetone to
clean the product.
Do not tap on the cutting elements.
Do not use any sharp objects to clean the cutting
elements.
Never dry the cutting unit with a towel or tissue, as
this may damage the trimming teeth.
Clean the product immediately after use and when
a lot of hair or dirt has accumulated on the cutting
element.
5 Rinse the cutting element of the trimming head
with lukewarm tap water (Fig. 20).
6 Switch on the product and rinse the cutting
element again to remove any remaining hairs.
Then switch o the product again.
Tip: For a thorough clean, immerse the trimming
head in a glass with warm water for ca. 30 minutes
to soak and soften the debris (Fig. 21). Be careful not
to immerse the handle in water. Then switch on the
appliance and rinse the cutting element under the tap
to remove stubborn hair/debris.
7 Rinse the combs with lukewarm tap water
(Fig. 22).
8 Carefully shake o excess water and let all parts
air-dry (Fig. 23). Let all parts dry completely before
you use the product again.
Storage
Store the product in a safe, dry location, using the
pouch provided. Make sure that the product and
accessories are completely dry before you insert them
into the pouch.
Attach the eyebrow comb to the cutting element to
protect the cutting teeth during storage.
Disposal
Your product is designed and manufactured with
high quality materials and components, which can be
recycled and reused. For recycling information, please
contact your local waste management facilities or visit
www.recycle.philips.com.
This product contains batteries:
-Dispose of batteries properly. Do not incinerate.
Batteries may explode if overheated.

Tip: If the trimming head becomes clogged, detach
the trimming head and rinse it thoroughly with warm
water before you reattach it.
Trimming eyebrows with the eyebrow
combs
1 Comb your eyebrows in the direction of hair
growth (Fig. 13).
2 Make sure the product is switched o. Slide the
eyebrow comb onto the cutting element (Fig. 14).
The short eyebrow comb trims the hairs to a
length of 3mm. The long eyebrow comb trims the
hairs to a length of 5mm.
Note: Make sure the comb clicks into place.
3 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
4 Place the trimmer in a position perpendicular to
your face. Make sure that the back of the comb lies
at on the skin (Fig. 15).
5 Slowly move the trimmer against the hair growth
direction (Fig. 16). Press lightly and make sure that
the at surface of the comb always stays in contact
with the skin.
6 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Trimming ear hair
Make sure your outer ear channels are clean and free
from wax.
Note: If there is an eyebrow comb on the cutting
element, remove it before trimming nose or ear hair
(Fig. 17).
1 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
2 Slowly move the cutting element along the rim of
the ear to remove hairs that stick out beyond the
rim.
3 Carefully insert the cutting element into the outer
ear channel. Move the tip in and out of the outer
ear channel in a rm, rotary motion to cut the hairs
to a shorter length (Fig. 18).
Do not insert the cutting element too deep
into your ear channel, as this could damage the
eardrum (max. 12mm).
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Trimming nose hair
Make sure both the product and nasal passages are
clean before trimming. Dried nasal mucus can block
the cutting element, preventing the product from
turning on.
Note: If there is an eyebrow comb on the cutting
element, remove it before trimming nose or ear hair
(Fig. 17).
1 Switch on the product (Fig. 9).
2 Carefully insert the cutting element into one of
your nostrils.
Do not insert the cutting element too deep into
the nostrils (max. 12mm).
3 Move the cutting element in and out of the nostril
in a rm, rotary motion to cut the hairs to a shorter
length. Make sure that the cutting teeth touch
the hair by rotating the trimming head inside your
nostril. While rotating you may hold the at side of
the trimmer against the skin to reduce any tickling
eect that might occur.
4 Clean thoroughly after each use (see ‘Cleaning‘).
Cleaning
Cleaning the trimming head
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any
other liquid, or rinse it under the tap. Only the
trimming head and attachments can be rinsed
under the tap.
Never use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents
or aggressive liquids such as gasoline or acetone to
clean the product.
Do not tap on the cutting elements.
Do not use any sharp objects to clean the cutting
elements.
Never dry the cutting unit with a towel or tissue, as
this may damage the trimming teeth.
Clean the product immediately after use and when
a lot of hair or dirt has accumulated on the cutting
element.
5 Rinse the cutting element of the trimming head
with lukewarm tap water (Fig. 20).
6 Switch on the product and rinse the cutting
element again to remove any remaining hairs.
Then switch o the product again.
Tip: For a thorough clean, immerse the trimming
head in a glass with warm water for ca. 30 minutes
to soak and soften the debris (Fig. 21). Be careful not
to immerse the handle in water. Then switch on the
appliance and rinse the cutting element under the tap
to remove stubborn hair/debris.
7 Rinse the combs with lukewarm tap water
(Fig. 22).
8 Carefully shake o excess water and let all parts
air-dry (Fig. 23). Let all parts dry completely before
you use the product again.
Storage
Store the product in a safe, dry location, using the
pouch provided. Make sure that the product and
accessories are completely dry before you insert them
into the pouch.
Attach the eyebrow comb to the cutting element to
protect the cutting teeth during storage.
Disposal
Your product is designed and manufactured with
high quality materials and components, which can be
recycled and reused. For recycling information, please
contact your local waste management facilities or visit

Inserting the battery
Note: Make sure your hands and product are dry
when you insert the battery.
1 To remove the battery compartment cover (Fig. 3),
turn it clockwise until the setting indicator points
to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^) (Fig. 4).
2 Pull the battery compartment cover o the handle
(Fig. 5).
3 Put the battery in the battery compartment
(Fig. 6).
Make sure the + and - poles of the battery point in
the right direction.
Note: The product operates on one replaceable
lithium AA 1.5-volt battery (included).
4 Reattach the battery compartment cover to
the bottom of the handle (Fig. 7) and turn it
counterclockwise until the setting indicator points
to the ‘locked‘ indication (0) (Fig. 8).
Using the product
Use product only in dry condition. Do not use while
bathing or in a shower.
Use the product for the following purposes:
-Trimming your ear, nose and neck hair with the
cutting element of the trimming head.
-Trimming your eyebrows with the eyebrow guard
attached to the cutting element of the trimming
head.
Note: The nose trimmer is not designed to clean-
shave your nostrils or ear channels, but to cut the hairs
to a shorter length. Nose and ear hairs have important
protective functions and should not be fully removed.
Switching the product on and o
1 To switch on the product, slide the on/o slide
upwards. (Fig. 9)
2 To switch o the product, slide the on/o slide
downwards. (Fig. 10)

Detaching the trimming head
1 To detach the trimming head from the handle,
rmly grasp the attachment below the cutting
element and turn it until the setting indicator
points to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^).
2 Lift the attachment o the handle (Fig. 11).

1 To attach the trimming head to the handle, place
the attachment on the handle with the setting
indicator pointing to the ‘unlocked‘ indication (^).
2 Firmly grasp the attachment below the cutting
element and turn it until the setting indicator
points to the ‘locked‘ indication (0) (Fig. 12).

-Si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil pendant une
période prolongée, retirez les piles.
-Pour éviter tout court-circuit accidentel des piles
après leur retrait, ne laissez pas les bornes des
piles entrer en contact avec des objets métalliques
(pièces de monnaie, épingles à cheveux, bagues,
etc.). Ne les enroulez pas dans une feuille
d’aluminium. Collez du ruban adhésif sur les
bornes de la pile ou mettez-la dans un sac en
plastique avant de la jeter.
-Ne laissez pas de piles jetables vides à l’intérieur de
l’appareil.
