INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR LUMINAIRES TRACK SYSTEM MINI HID
CYLINDERS USING T4 (GU6.5), T4.5 (G8.5) CMH LAMP AND BT5 (PGJ5) CDM-TM
Follow applicable laws for disposal of lamp containing mercury.
WARNING: For use with Lytespan from Lightolier system only.
CAUTION: Please read these instructions before installing the luminaire. To avoid electric shock, turn off the power from the electric panel
before beginning. For safety, this luminaire must be grounded. Consult an electrician to make sure all the requirements of the Electrical Code for
electricity and the current local regulations are complied. Keep these instructions as reference.
Note: Ensure that the electricity to the luminaire is cut prior to the
installation or replacement of the lamp.
A. ADAPTER: (Single circuit)
1. Insert the adapter into the track. Locking lever must
be on the same side of track as bead. (Fig.1)
2. Rotate fixture adapter 90°with the help of the ballast housing
until locking lever snaps and locks in place. (Fig.2)
3. To remove, depress locking lever, then rotate adapter
90°counterclockwise with the help of the ballast housing.

B. ADAPTER: (Double circuit)
1. The brass contact can be raised (after the click) indicates a double
circuit. (Fig.3)
C. LAMP REMPLACEMENT: (Fig.4)
1. Unscrew the external knurled knobs two turn only.
2. Remove the cover from the housing.
Lamps T4 (GU6.5) and BT5 (PGJ5)
3. Align the pins in the socket.
4. Twist it ¼ turn clockwise.
Lamp T4.5 (G8.5)
5. Align the pins in the socket.
6. Push the lamp upwards
D. REFLECTOR REMPLACEMENT: (Sold separately) (Fig.5)
Note : Handle the reflector carefully to avoid making fingerprints.
1. Unscrew completely the internal knurled knob.
2. Align the notches of the reflector with the holes of the housing.
3. Thumbscrew the knurled knob.
E. LOUVER: (Sold separately) (Fig.6)
1. Remove the spring ring and the protective glass.
2. Place the louver into the cover housing.
3. Place the protective glass onto the louver.
4. Place the spring ring.
F. COVER HOUSING: (Fig.7)
1. Align the notches under the external knurled knobs.
2. Thumbscrew the knurled knob.
G. MAINTENANCE OF THE REFLECTOR:
1. Clean with a soft cloth dampened in a mild detergent solution.
2. Rinse and wipe dry with a dry cloth or paper towel. Avoid
abrasives
