Ideal replacement for all Philips remote controls
For lost or broken Philips remote controls, this is the ideal replacement
for all remote controls manufactured since 1980. It controls all the
original TV functions.
Pre-programmed for Philips (RC-5 and RC-6) TVs and VCRs
Because it’s pre-programmed for all Philips TVs and VCRs, no set-up
procedure is needed. It works with the recent Philips RC-6 and original
RC-5 infrared standards for TV, and the RC-5 standard for VCR
straight out of the pack! Batteries are included for immediate use!
Operates all original – and new – functions
The handy remote control not only provides total control of original
TV functionality, but it also covers the primary VCR functions. It even
offers a whole host of new ones like for example,Wide screen
settings, Dual screen, Menu setup control, Active control and Incredible
surround.A VCR/shiftkey doubles the remote control’s functionality.
Just keep it pressed, and the complete functionality changes.
Five programmable keys provided
If there are any other exotic or less frequently used functions on the
TV or VCR that are not in the remote control’s standard set, they can
be simply programmed on any of the five user-programmable keys.
Ergonomic design with familiar layout
And because it has the same shape as latest TV remote controls,
with the same icons and ergonomic key layout, it feels familiar straight
away. All functions are clearly visible on the remote control to make it
easy to select the one you want to use.
