Read these instructions for use carefully before using the appliance and save them for future reference.

◗Remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning the appliance.
Preparing for use
You can attach the shoulder strap to the appliance for extra convenience. Connect the clasp to the
front and back of the appliance. See figure 1 for the location of the shoulder strap holes.
1Insert the plug into the wall socket.
Using the appliance
1Push the on/off slide forwards to switch the appliance on (fig. 2).
2Push the on/off slide backwards to switch the appliance off (fig. 3).
Always switch the appliance off before connecting or disconnecting accessories.

Brush tool
The brush tool can be used to clean delicate surfaces.
◗Attach the brush tool to the appliance nozzle (fig. 4).
Hose
You can use the hose for extended reach with the brush tool.
1Insert the appliance end of the hose into the appliance nozzle (fig. 5).
2Insert the brush tool into the attachment end of the hose (fig. 6).
Tube and nozzle
The nozzle can be used on either carpets or hard floors.
1Connect the tube parts to each other by inserting the narrow section into the wider section
while turning it a little.
2Connect the tube to the hose by means of the connector (fig. 7).
3Attach the nozzle to the other end of the tube (fig. 8).
Integrated crevice tool
With the crevice tool you can quickly and conveniently clean hard-to-reach places.
1Push the release slide towards the handle to release the crevice tool and fold it out with
your free hand (fig. 9).
2Push the crevice tool into the appliance nozzle as far as possible to secure it (fig. 10).
To store the crevice tool on the body of the appliance:
3Pull the crevice tool out of the appliance nozzle (fig. 11).
4Fold the crevice tool back onto the body of the appliance and snap it home ('click') (fig. 12).
Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
1Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
Emptying the dust compartment.
Make sure you empty the dust compartment and clean the filter regularly.

1Press the dust compartment release button (fig. 13).
2Remove the dust compartment from the appliance (fig. 14).
3Pull the filter holder out of the dust compartment (fig. 15).
4Empty the contents of the dust compartment into a dustbin (fig. 16).
5Remove the filter from the holder by turning it anticlockwise (fig. 17).
6Clean the filter.
Use a brush or a normal vacuum cleaner if the filter is very dirty.

Solution
Make sure that you have inserted the plug properly into the wall socket.
Take the appliance to your dealer or a service centre authorised by Philips
for examination.
Make sure that you have attached the dust compartment properly to the
appliance.
Empty the dust compartment (see chapter 'Cleaning').
Check if the filter is clogged. If so, remove the filter holder and clean the filter
(see chapter 'Cleaning').

7Put the filter back in the holder and turn it clockwise.
8Place the filter holder back into the dust compartment.
9Reattach the dust compartment by aligning the slot on the dust compartment with the
projecting part of the appliance. First attach the bottom of the dust compartment and then
push the top of the dust compartment towards the appliance until it locks into place ('click')
(fig. 18).

Vorbereitung zum Gebrauch
Der Schultergurt sorgt für besonders einfache Handhabung. Befestigen Sie die Karabinerhaken vorn
und hinten am Gerät.Abbildung 1 zeigt die Befestigungspunkte für den Schultergurt.

Staubsaugen
1Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter nach vorn, um das Gerät einzuschalten (Abb. 2).
2Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter zurück, um das Gerät auszuschalten (Abb. 3).
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, bevor Sie Zubehör anbringen oder abnehmen.
Der Bürstenaufsatz
Der Bürstenaufsatz eignet sich zum Reinigen empfindlicher Oberflächen.
◗Stecken Sie den Bürstenaufsatz auf die Gerätedüse (Abb. 4).
Der Saugschlauch
Mit dem Saugschlauch und dem Bürstenaufsatz können Sie beim Saugen die Reichweite erhöhen.
1Führen Sie die Geräteverbindung des Schlauches in die Gerätedüse (Abb. 5).
2Stecken Sie den Bürstenaufsatz in die Schlauchverbindung für Zubehör (Abb. 6).
Saugrohr und Bodendüse
Die Bodendüse eignet sich zum Saugen vonTeppichen und Hartböden.
1Verbinden Sie die Rohrabschnitte miteinander, indem Sie das schmalere Ende mit einer
leichten Drehung in das weitere Ende einführen.
2Verbinden Sie das Rohr und den Schlauch mit der Rohrverbindung (Abb. 7).
3Befestigen Sie die Bodendüse am anderen Ende des Rohrs (Abb. 8).
Die integrierte Fugendüse
Mit der Fugendüse können Sie schnell und bequem schwer erreichbare Stellen reinigen.
1Drücken Sie den Schieber zur Entriegelung der Fugendüse gegen den Handgriff und klappen
Sie die Düse mit der freien Hand heraus (Abb. 9).
2Schieben Sie die Fugendüse so fest wie möglich in die Gerätedüse (Abb. 10).
So befestigen Sie die Fugendüse wieder am Gerätegehäuse:
3Ziehen Sie die Fugendüse aus der Gerätedüse (Abb. 11).
4Klappen Sie die Fugendüse wieder auf das Gerätegehäuse, bis sie hörbar einrastet (Abb. 12).
Das Gerät reinigen
Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Geräts stets den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
1Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch.
Die Staubkammer leeren
Leeren Sie die Staubkammer und reinigen Sie den Filter regelmäßig.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie die Staubkammer leeren und den Filter
reinigen.

1Drücken Sie die Staubkammer-Entriegelung (Abb. 13).
2Nehmen Sie die Staubkammer aus dem Gerät (Abb. 14).
3Ziehen Sie den Filterhalter aus der Staubkammer (Abb. 15).
4Leeren Sie den Inhalt der Staubkammer in einen Mülleimer (Abb. 16).
5Nehmen Sie den Filter mit einer Drehung gegen den Uhrzeigersinn vom Filterhalter
(Abb. 17).
6Reinigen Sie den Filter.
Nehmen Sie eine Bürste oder einen herkömmlichen Staubsauger zur Hilfe, wenn der Filter sehr
verschmutzt ist.
7Setzen Sie den Filter mit einer Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn wieder in den Filterhalter.
8Setzen Sie den Filterhalter wieder in die Staubkammer.
9Befestigen Sie die Staubkammer so am Gerät, dass der Schlitz an der Staubkammer an dem
Vorsprung des Geräts ausgerichtet ist. Bringen Sie zuerst das Unterteil der Staubkammer an,
und lassen Sie dann das Oberteil der Staubkammer unter leichtem Druck am Gerät
einrasten (Abb. 18).

Die Kunststoffteile des Geräts sind zwecks Wiederverwertung entsprechend gekennzeichnet.
Die Geräteverpackung besteht aus Altmaterial und kann komplett recycelt werden.

Arrêtez toujours l'appareil avant de connecter ou déconnecter des accessoires.
Brosse
La brosse peut être utilisée pour nettoyer les surfaces délicates.
◗Fixez la brosse sur le suceur de l'appareil (fig. 4).
Tuyau
Vous pouvez utiliser le tuyau pour aller plus loin avec la brosse.
1Insérez le bout du tuyau dans le suceur de l'appareil (fig. 5).
2Insérez la brosse dans l'accessoire du tuyau (fig. 6).
Tube et suceur
Le suceur peut être utilisé pour les tapis ou pour les sols durs.
1Connectez les tubes l'un à l'autre en introduisant la section étroite dans la section plus large
et tournez légèrement.
2Connectez le tube à la poignée à l'aide du connecteur (fig. 7).
3Fixez le suceur à l'autre bout du tube (fig. 8).
Suceur à plinthes intégré
Utilisez le suceur à plinthes pour le nettoyage rapide et confortable des endroits difficiles d'accès.
1Faites glisser le bouton de déverrouillage pour retirer le suceur à plinthes. Dépliez la poignée
avec l'autre main (fig. 9).
2Poussez le suceur à plinthes dans le suceur de l'appareil aussi profondément que possible
(fig. 10).
Pour ranger le suceur à plinthes sur le corps de l'appareil:
3Otez le suceur à plinthes du suceur de l'appareil (fig. 11).
4Repliez le suceur sur le corps de l'appareil et fixez-le (clic) (fig. 12).
Nettoyage
Débranchez toujours l'appareil avant le nettoyage.
1Nettoyez l'appareil avec un chiffon humide.
Pour vider le compartiment à poussière
Videz le compartiment à poussière et nettoyez le filtre régulièrement.
Débranchez toujours l'appareil avant de vider le compartiment à poussière et de nettoyer le
filtre.
1Appuyez sur la touche de libération du compartiment à poussière (fig. 13).
2Retirez le compartiment à poussière (fig. 14).
3Enlevez le porte-filtre du compartiment (fig. 15).

4Secouez le compartiment au-dessus d'une poubelle (fig. 16).
5Retirez le filtre du porte-filtre en tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre
(fig. 17).
6Nettoyez le filtre.
Utilisez une brosse ou un aspirateur traditionnel si le filtre est très sale.
7Remettez le filtre dans le porte-filtre en tournant dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre.
8Replacez le porte-filtre dans le compartiment à poussière.
9Attachez le compartiment de telle manière que la fente au-dessus du compartiment coïncide
avec la projection au-dessus de l'appareil. Fixez d'abord la partie inférieure et ensuite poussez
la partie supérieure du compartiment jusqu'à ce qu'il se fixe en place(clic) (fig. 18).

Pour permettre leur recyclage, les éléments en plastique de votre appareil comportent un code
d'identification. L'emballage carton est fabriqué à partir de matériaux recyclés et est entièrement
recyclable.

Klaarmaken voor gebruik
Voor extra gebruiksgemak kunt u de draagriem aan het apparaat bevestigen. Bevestig de haken aan
de voor- en achterzijde van het apparaat. Zie figuur 1 voor de plaats van de bevestigingspunten.

1Steek de apparaatzijde van de slang in de apparaatzuigmond (fig. 5).
2Steek de borstelzuigmond in de zuigmondzijde van de slang (fig. 6).
Buis en zuigmond
De zuigmond kan zowel op tapijt als op harde vloeren gebruikt worden.
1Bevestig de buisdelen aan elkaar door het smalle gedeelte in het bredere gedeelte te
schuiven en tegelijkertijd een beetje te draaien.
2Bevestig de buis aan de slang met behulp van het aansluitstuk (fig. 7).
3Bevestig de zuigmond aan het andere uiteinde van de buis (fig. 8).
Geïntegreerde spleetzuiger
De spleetzuiger kan gebruikt worden om snel en makkelijk moeilijk bereikbare plekjes te zuigen.
1Duw de ontgrendelknop in de richting van het handvat om de spleetzuiger te ontgrendelen
en klap hem met uw vrije hand uit (fig. 9).
2Duw de spleetzuiger zo ver mogelijk in de apparaatzuigmond om hem vast te zetten (fig. 10).
Op de volgende wijze bevestigt u de spleetzuiger weer op de behuizing van het apparaat:
3Trek de spleetzuiger uit de apparaatzuigmond (fig. 11).
4Klap de spleetzuiger terug op de behuizing van het apparaat totdat hij vastklikt (fig. 12).
Schoonmaken
Haal altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat gaat schoonmaken.
1Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek.
Het stofvak legen
Zorg ervoor dat u regelmatig het stofvak leegt en het filter schoonmaakt.

1Druk de stofvakontgrendelknop in (fig. 13).
2Neem het stofvak van het apparaat (fig. 14).
3Trek de filterhouder uit het stofvak (fig. 15).
4Gooi het stofvak leeg in een afvalemmer (fig. 16).

Oplossing
Zorg ervoor dat de stekker goed in het stopcontact zit.
Breng het apparaat naar uw dealer of een door Philips geautoriseerd
servicentrum voor onderzoek.
Zorg ervoor dat het stofvak goed aan het apparaat bevestigd is.
Leeg het stofvak (zie hoofstuk 'Schoonmaken').
Controleer of het filter misschien verstopt zit.Als dit het geval is, verwijder
dan de filterhouder en reinig het filter (zie hoofdstuk 'Schoonmaken').
Controleer of het stofvak misschien vol is.Als dit het geval is, leeg dan het
stofvak.
Zorg ervoor dat het stofvak goed aan het apparaat bevestigd is (zie
hoofdstuk 'Schoonmaken').

is, verhelp dan de verstopping.

5Verwijder het filter uit de houder door hem linksom te draaien (fig. 17).
6Reinig het filter.
Gebruik een borstel of een gewone stofzuiger als het filter erg vies is.
7Plaats het filter terug in de houder en draai hem rechtsom.
8Plaats de filterhouder terug in het stofvak.
9Bevestig het stofvak weer aan het apparaat door eerst het uitsteeksel aan de onderzijde van
het apparaat in de uitsparing aan de onderzijde van het stofvak te plaatsen en vervolgens de
bovenzijde van het stofvak richting het apparaat te duwen totdat het stofvak vastklikt (fig. 18).
Milieu
Om hergebruik mogelijk te maken, zijn de kunststoffen die in dit apparaat verwerkt zijn gecodeerd.
De kartonnen verpakking is gemaakt van hergebruikt materiaal en kan volledig gerecycled worden.

Cómo preparar el aparato
Puede colocar la correa en el aparato para una mayor comodidad. Sujete los enganches en la parte
delantera y trasera del aparato. Consulte la figura 1 para ver la ubicación de los orificios para la
correa.

Cómo usar el aparato
1Presione el botón deslizante de encendido/apagado (on/off) hacia delante para encender el
aparato (fig. 2).
2Presione el botón deslizante de encendido/apagado (on/off) hacia atrás para apagar el aparato
(fig. 3).
Antes de conectar o desconectar accesorios, desenchufe siempre el aparato.
Cepillo accesorio
Puede utilizar el cepillo accesorio para limpiar superficies delicadas.
◗Coloque el cepillo accesorio en la boquilla del aparato (fig. 4).
Manguera
Puede utilizar la manguera para aumentar el alcance del cepillo accesorio.
1Introduzca el extremo de la manguera para conectar al aparato en la boquilla del aparato (fig.
5).
2Inserte el cepillo accesorio en el extremo de la manguera para conectar los accesorios (fig.
6).
Tubo y cepillo
El cepillo se puede utilizar tanto sobre alfombras como sobre suelos duros.
1Monte las piezas del tubo introduciendo la parte más estrecha en la más amplia, al tiempo
que lo gira un poco.
2Conecte el tubo a la manguera mediante el conector (fig. 7).
3Acople el cepillo al otro extremo del tubo (fig. 8).
Boquilla alargada integrada
Con la boquilla alargada puede limpiar lugares de difícil acceso de manera rápida y cómoda.
1Deslice el botón de liberación hacia el mango para sacar la boquilla alargada y despliéguela
con la otra mano (fig. 9).
2Empuje la boquilla alargada contra el aparato todo lo posible para asegurarla (fig. 10).
Para guardar la boquilla alargada en el cuerpo del aparato:
3Tire de la boquilla alargada para sacarla de la boquilla del aparato (fig. 11).
4Vuelva a plegar la boquilla alargada en el cuerpo del aparato y encájela en su sitio (oirá un
'clic') (fig. 12).
Limpieza
Desenchufe siempre el aparato antes de limpiarlo.
1Limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo.
