How to Connect
with ComPilot II

• To switch on, slide the On/Off switch on the side of the ComPilot II down.
The power indicator light will continue to fade in and out green during use.
• To switch off, slide the On/Off switch on the side of the ComPilot
II up. The power indicator light will flash red and then turn off.
• When charging with the mini-USB power cord, the power indicator
light will be solid red and when fully charged will be solid green.

Connecting to Computers/Tablets
WIRED IN (3.5 mm cable)
1. Switch ON your ComPilot II and place it around
your neck with your hearing aids on. Figure 1
2. Insert the audio cable into your
ComPilot II. Figure 2
3. Insert the other end of the audio cable into
the headphone socket of your audio device
(Computer/Tablet/Phone). Figure 2
4. Start the audio on your computer/tablet/phone
and the audio streaming will automatically start.
WITH YOUR TVLINK II
1. Ensure your TVLink II is paired with your
ComPilot II. For pairing instructions
CLICK HERE (see page 20-23)
2. Remove your TVLink II from your television,
if it has already been set up there, and
insert the 3.5 mm analog audio cable in
the back of the TVLink II. Figure 3
3. Insert the other end of the audio cable into
the headphone socket of your audio device
(Computer/Tablet/Phone). Figure 3
4. Ensure the TVLink II is plugged into a
power supply and turned on. Figure 4
5. Turn on your ComPilot II and place
it around your neck. Figure 1
6. Start the audio on your computer/tablet/phone
and the audio streaming will automatically start

Connecting to Computers/Tablets
BLUETOOTH
If you have an audio source equipped with Bluetooth,
you can stream audio wirelessly to your hearing aids.
Figure 5. However, for a more stable connection we
recommend you listen to your audio via a hard wire or
your TVLink II.
Pair first:
1. Pair your ComPilot II to your Bluetooth enabled
device. Pairing only needs to be done once.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your
device and switch on your ComPilot II.
3. Press and hold the connect and volume up buttons
at the same time for 2 seconds until the audio
indicator starts to rapidly blink blue. Figure 6
4. Start the pairing process on your audio
device- search for your Phonak ComPilot II. If
you are prompted for a code, enter “0000”.
4. After successful pairing, the audio
indicator will stop blinking blue.
Streaming:
1. Switch ON your ComPilot II and place it around
your neck with your hearing aids on. Figure 1
2. Remove your TVLink II from your television,
if it has already been set up there, and
insert the 3.5 mm analog audio cable in
the back of the TVLink II. Figure 3
3. Press PLAY on your Bluetooth device. Some
devices will start streaming automatically.
The audio indicator light on your ComPilot
will turn solid blue when streaming.
4. To stop streaming completely, switch the
Bluetooth OFF or switch off the ComPilot II.

More Tips
• If your ComPilot II is also paired to another audio device (different from the one
you want to stream with) turn the Bluetooth off on that device.
• Ensure the neckloop on your ComPilot II is plugged all the way in on both sides of the device.
Do not fold or bend the neckloop. It is always good to have a spare neckloop if possible.
• The ComPilot II turns your hearing aids into headphones when using video conferencing
applications such as Skype, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. However, it is important
to note your voice will be picked up by the computer microphone.
Audio routing
Make sure to select
“Headphones” from the pop
up menu on your computer.
Do not select on “Headset with
microphone”.
