Do not incinerate batteries or expose to high temperatures, as they may
explode.
ØLeaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If leaking
occurs do not touch battery and cease use immediately. Contact your
distributorforfurtherinstructions.
ØDonotremovebatteriesfromunit,unlessdisposingoftheappliance.
ØNickelMetalHydridebatteriesmustberecycledordisposedofproperly.

ThePiranhaCordlessPowerVachasapowerful18Vbatterycapacitygiving
the Piranha more than double the power of most rechargeable hand held
vacuums.
Comes equipped with a 3 piece extension tube for upright vacuuming, an
adjustable crevice tool forhard toreach places, alarger floor brush and an
interchangeablebrushtoolwhichslidesofftoturnintoanupholsterybrush.
ThePiranhaCordlessPowerVacislightweight,hasaconvenientstorageunit
thatholdsallaccessoriesandmakeschargingthevacuumeasy.

HOWTOASSEMBLEANDUSE
The Power Vac comes with a 18V rechargeable battery that must be
chargedinitiallyfor24hourspriortooperatingforthefirsttimeand12
hoursthereafter.
1) TheStorageUnitisalsotheRechargeStandandhasaChargingHole
fortheChargingJacktolockintoplace.
2) Placethe
ChargingJackin
beneaththe
StorageStand
intotheCharging
Hole.
3) Twistthe
ChargingJackto
thelefttolockinto
theCharging
Hole.
4) ToPlacethePowerVacontotheRecharge/StorageUnit,slidingthe
MainBodyontoMainBodyHook,asindicatedontheabovepicture.
5) WhileslidingthePowerVacontothemainbodyhook,themainbody
mustalsoclipontotheChargingJack.ThePowerVachasbeenfitted
ontheStorageUnitcorrectlywhentheChargingLightIndicatorison.
NOTE:TheIndicatorlightmustbeontochargethebattery
6) The unit must be charged for 24hours before the first use only. For
charging after first use,charge for 12hours. Once the battery is fully
chargedtheunitcancontinuouslybeinoperationforapproximately12
minutesbeforerequiringtoberecharged.
NOTE: Peakperformance mayonly be realized after the battery has
been charged and fully drained two of three times. To maintain peak
performance,it is recommended that the battery be fully drained and
rechargedforthecomplete12hourtimerequired.
7) Push the “ON” switch to operate the unit. Release the switch to
automaticallyswitch“OFF”.

ACCESSORIES
1) TheFloorBrush,FlexibleCreviceToolorInterchangeableBrushand
UpholsterytoolcanbeattacheddirectlyontotheDustContaineroron
theendoftheExtensionTubes.
2) To use the extension
tubes,youmaychooseto
utilize all three tubes for
a longer extension or
onlyoneortwotubesfor
shorterextensions.
MAINTENANCE
1) Ensure that the Dust Filter is fitted in the Dust
Containercorrectly.NeverusethePowerVacwithout
theDustFilter,asthiswilldamagethemotor.
2) PresstheDustContainerReleaseButtontounclipthe
DustContainerfromtheMainBody.
3) Removethedustfilterasshown.
4) TodisposeofdustcollectedinDustContainer,pullthe
DustFilteroutandemptyappropriately.Refitthe
DustFilterandDustContainerusingtheshapeofthe
filterasguidance,tocontinuewithcleaning.

5) TheStorageUnitcanbewallmountedforuserconvenience.Drillthree
holesasshownbelowinthechosenpositionofthewall.Inserttherivets
thenfixthestandtowallwiththethreescrewsprovided.
NOTE:TomountonHollowPlasterWalls,youmayrequireusinga
specialrivetsuitabletoyourtypeofwall(notincluded)availablefromall
goodhardwarestores.
6) Neveropenthebatterycompartment.Ifrequiredtodoso,careshould
betakenandwesuggestthatyoucontactthedistributorforfurther
instruction.
7) Thebatterycontainsnickelmetalhydride(NiMH)andmustbe
disposedofproperly.Youshouldcontactyourlocalwastecollectorfor
furtherinformationonthecorrectdisposalprocedureofthesetypesof
batteries.
