This device uses a danger us electrical v ltage. D n t use it when the mains cable is defective f if the
device has ther visible damage. Never pen the casing, leave this t repairs specialists. D n t suck
up red h t ashes, gl wing cigarette ends r matches, n r sharp bjects, glass splinters, water r ther
liquids. These can damage the vacuum cleaner and c uld put y u in danger. Red h t ashes, gl wing
cigarette ends etc. can set the filter n fire, dampness can lead t sh rt circuits, and sharp p inted
bjects can damage the filter. D n t all w children t play with the plastic f il used as packaging,
danger f suff cati n.

Never exp se the vacuum cleaner t the effects f the weather (rain, etc.). Always unplug the vacuum
cleaner fr m the mains bef re cleaning r servicing it (e.g. rem ving the filter).
Caution!
H ld the cable firmly when r lling it up. The p werful re-wind pull n the cable can result in a “whiplash
effect”.
Important!
Never pull the plug ut f the s cket by tugging the cable, but always grip the plug b dy itself. Children
are frequently unaware f the dangers f electrical r underestimate these. F r this reas n children
sh uld never be all wed t w rk with electrical devices.
Despite the filter it is p ssible that a small quantity f dirt is present in the vacuum cleaner exhaust air.
This can be breathed in by children and result in allergic reacti ns. F r this reas n d n t vacuum clean
if p ssible, when children are nearby.
Never sit n r place things n the vacuum cleaner b dy. This vacuum cleaner is suited exclusively f r
230 - 240V alternating current, 50 Hz.
Only use the vacuum cleaner when a filter and a m t r pr tecti n filter have been fitted. The filter must
n t be damaged! Use nly the filters listed n page10/11

Bef re vacuum cleaning a shamp ed carpet, wait until it is c mpletely dry. Never leave the vacuum

Our packaging is made f materials that are harmless t the envir nment. They can be recycled and d n t

If y u have the st rage space required, we rec mmend that y u keep the packaging at least until the
expiry f the guarantee. If the device must be sent f r repairs r t a repair w rksh p, the riginal
packaging will ensure that it is adequately pr tected.
If y u wish t disp se f the packaging, please d s in a manner that will n t cause damage t the
envir nment.

Used filters can be disp sed f in the d mestic refuse.
Important!
If after l ng years f use y ur vacuum cleaner is n l nger serviceable, please make sure that it is kept
t gether as a single unit until being disp sed f in a manner that will prevent damage t the
envir nment.

ACCESSORIES
Y ur vacuum cleaner c mes equipped with three attachments intended f r different applicati ns.
Each individual attachment can either be fitted nt the telesc pic tube r directly nt the handle f the
sucti n h se, as required. The s fa n zzle and the crevice n zzle may be st red n the t l h lder f the
telesc pic tube.
Floor nozzl
Y u will pr bably w rk m st frequently with the fl r n zzle. This is suitable f r cleaning wide areas. The fl r
n zzle is fitted with a practical 360
0
j int. This ensures that y u can reach easily int any c rner.
 Clean carpets and wall-t -wall carpets with ut using the brush.
Press the tip switch marked with the carpet symb l and the brush
is raised.
 Sm th fl rs such as PVC, parquet r tiles are best cleaned and
cared f r suing the brush. T d s press the tip switch with the
symb l f r sm th fl rs and the brush will c me ut.
Upholst ry nozzl
Y u can use this t clean the dust fr m b ks
r sensitive bjects such as picture frames etc.
This n zzle is suitable f r the careful cleaning
f uph lstered furniture, mattresses, cushi ns, curtains etc.
Cr vic nozzl
This n zzle is suitable f r sucking clean the f lds in cl th, j int cracks
and c rners r niches that cann t be reached with the fl r n zzle.

PREVENTION
Switch ff the vacuum cleaner immediately if the air intakes, the fl r brushes r the telesc pes tube bec mes
bl cked. Bef re starting the vacuum cleaner up again rem ve the substance causing the bl ckage:
1. Never use the vacuum cleaner in the immediate
vicinity f h t b dies and d n t suck up h t
bjects such as cigarette ends r ashes.
2. Only place the plug in the s cket when y ur
hands are dry.
3. Please rem ve large f sharp bjects fr m the
fl r bef re using the vacuum cleaner t av id any
p ssible damage t it.
4. D n t pull by the mains cable when pulling ut the plug.
Dang r!
The vacuum cleaner is pr vided with a plug and an electric cable. If the plug r the cable are damaged
a qualified electrician must be called t repair them.

ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER
Caution!
Bef re assembling r disassembling the access ries always ensure that it has been unplugged fr m
the mains s cket!
Conn cting your vacuum cl an r
1. Ass mbly and disass mbly of th tub
 M ntage:
Insert the tube in the air intake pening.
Push the tube in until it l cks in place
 Disassembly:
Take the tube fr m the air intake after
disc nnecting fr m the mains s cket.
2. Ass mbling th t l scop tub and acc ssori s
2.1: Rem ve the telesc pe tube fr m the hand grip.
 Set the telesc pe tube t the c rrect length.
 Push the telesc pe tube slide f rwards and pull
ut the l wer part f the tube t the extensi n
length required. Then simply let g f the slide
and let it snap int place
2.3: Fix the fl r brush t the telesc pe tube.

OPERATION
Vacuum cl aning
Bef re using the device first r ll ut a sufficient length f electric flex cable and plug int the mains s cket. The
yell w mark n the electric flex cable is the maximum length that must n t be exceeded.
T switch n the device press the f t pedal butt n n the casing with y ur f t. Pull the device behind
y u like a sledge when w rking with it.
Important!
In a few cases there may be a “whistling” s und
at the start. This is n t a fault and the s und
g es away after a time.
D n t suck up t ner, plaster, cement, st ne dust
r drill dust. The sucking up f these materials
bl cks the filter.
R gulating th suction pow r
Y u can set the sucti n p wer n the device individually as y u
require it using the sucti n regulat r. We rec mmend using
minimum sucti n p wer f r delicate materials.
Select medium sucti n p wer f r mattresses, uph lstered
furniture and carpets. Select maximum sucti n p wer f r tiled,
w d and ther r bust fl rs.
S condary air valv
The sec ndary air valve is at the handle
 Opening: pull upwards
 Cl sing: push d wnwards
Y u can adjust the sucti n p wer by using the sec ndary air valve.
The wider the sec ndary air valve is pened, the less the sucti n p wer and vice-versa.
Open the sec ndary air valve t prevent curtains and the like fr m being sucked in.
Ch se:
 Minimal sucti n p wer f r curtains and sensitive materials.
 Medium sucti n p wer f r uph lstery cushi ns, mattresses, carpet fl rs.
 Maximum sucti n p wer f r tiled, w den and r bust fl r surfaces with heavy s iling.
Aft r vacuum cl aning
Switch ff the device when y u have finished cleaning:
1. T d this press the f t butt n n the device with y ur f t f by hand.
2. After this pull the mains plug fr m the s cket.
3. T r ll in the cable press f t pedal and h ld it in p siti n. The cable will be r lled back aut matically
nt the installed cable drum and disappear c mpletely int the device up t the plug.
4. The fl r n zzle can be kept attached t the vacuum cleaner f r ease f st rage after use.

HEPA FILTER CLEANING SYSTEM
The cycl ne vacuum cleaner functi n with ut needing a dust bag. The sucked up dirt is f rced int the dust
c ntainer by f rce f the air jet instead. The air is cleaned by a washable permanent filter (HEPA filter) in the
dust c ntainer, m t r pr tecti n filter and an exhaust air filter.
Caution!
Never vacuum clean with ut a filter r with a damaged filter. The dust that is sucked up w uld f rce its
way int the device and damage the m t r.
Clean dust / dirt in the dust c ntainer by an entirely new meth d ---it’s simple, clean and s easy.
Emptying dust contain r
Y u can easily see with the transparent dust c ntainer when
it must be emptied.
1. Switch ff the vacuum cleaner and disc nnect the plug
fr m the mains. T d this always pull n the plug and
n t n the cable.
2. Y u can pull the dust c ntainer t gether with the cleaning
system ut f their anch ring with the aid f the carrier
handle n the dust c ntainer. N w lift ut the dust c ntainer
and carry it t the waste bin.
3. A push butt n is l cated n the dust c ntainer that y u can
use t pen and empty it aut matically (b tt m-d wn techn l gy).
T d this h ld the dust c ntainer ver y ur dustbin and
press n the empty butt n.
4. After emptying it clean the HEPA filter again if necessary
(see als Cleaning the HEPA filter bel w). After this rinse
ut the dust c ntainer and wipe it dry.
Important!
When the dust c ntainer is full, it is sensible t pull a plastic bag ver it and t empty it int this bag.
This prevents the spilling f dust.
5. After this push the HEPA filter cleaning system back int p siti n in the cycl ne vacuum cleaner until it
snaps int place. Y ur cycl ne vacuum cleaner is n w ready f r use again.
Cl aning th HEPA filt r
The HEPA filter and the HEPA c ver sh uld be cleaned regularly. Cleaning is best d ne when emptying the
dust c ntainer. T d this f ll w the instructi ns in the Emptying dust contain r secti n.
1. Switch ff the vacuum cleaner and disc nnect the plug fr m the mains. T d this, always pull n the plug
and n t n the cable.
2. Y u can pull the dust c ntainer t gether with the cleaning system ut f their anch ring with the aid f the
carrier handle n the dust c ntainer. Take h ld f the carrier handle n the dust c ntainer and pull it
upwards. N w pull the dust c ntainer ut and l sen the HEPA c ver and HEPA filter ut f the dust
c ntainer with the aid f the lateral unl cking butt n.

3. Turn the dust c ntainer c ver carefully until it is released and the HEPA filter will c me away easily
4. N w rinse the HEPA filter under running water and all w it t dry.
Caution!
Only ever clean the filter with clean water and d n t use s ap r detergent. These w uld destr y the
filter.
5. Place the HEPA filter back in the HEPA c ver ( r replace with a new ne) and fit it int the dust c ntainer.
Then fit the dust c ntainer back int p siti n in the cycl ne dust c ntainer until it snaps int place. Y ur
cycl ne vacuum cleaner is n w ready f r use again.
Motor prot ction filt r
The m t r pr tecti n filter cleans the air that is sucked in bef re it enters the m t r. The air is cleaned f fine
dusts, mites, bacteria and viruses. This prevents dirt r dust particles fr m getting int the m t r r the
surr unding air.
Cl aning th xhaust air filt r
The exhaust air filter cleans the air a final time bef re it leaves the vacuum cleaner. Y u can clean the exhaust
air filter as f ll ws:
1. Switch ff the vacuum cleaner and disc nnect the plug fr m the mains. T d this, always pull n the plug
and n t n the cable.
2. Open the exhaust air grill (this is at the rear f the cycl ne vacuum cleaner.)
3. The exhaust air filter is visible when the grill has been pened.
4. Rinse the filter under c ld running water and all w dry.
Caution!
Only ever clean the filter with clean water and d n t use s ap r detergent. These w uld destr y the
filter.
5. Put the exhaust air filter back int place ( r replace with a new ne) and place in the grill.
6. Cl se the exhaust air filter grill.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE

T clean the device casing switch ff and disc nnect the plug fr m the mains s cket.
Dang r!
Never exp se the vacuum cleaner t the effects f the weather (rain, etc.). N parts may be washed in a
dish washer.
The casing, dust c llecting chamber and filter chambers f the vacuum cleaner can be wiped with a damp
cl th if required. N liquid must enter the vacuum cleaner in the pr cess. Never use str ng cleaning
substance(sc uring liquids, thinners), since these will c rr de the plastic surface. Only place the plug back in
the mains s cket when y u have made sure that all the parts are th r ughly dry.
Hair and fluff may gather n the running wheels and n the fl r n zzle f the vacuum cleaner in time.
Y u sh uld rem ve these t ensure that handling f the vacuum cleaner is always easy.
Not !
Lubricating r iling f the r ller bearing is n t rec mmended, because this will cause dirt and fluff t
stick even better.
