1.Overview
Thank you for purchasing PLANET 350-watt AC/DC power
supply.
Power Supply Unit Input Range
XGS-PWR350-AC 100 to 240V AC
XGS-PWR350-DC 36V to 72V DC
Open the box of the Redundant Power Supply unit and
carefully unpack it. The box should contain the following items:
zThe AC/DC Power Supply unit x 1
zUser’s Manual x 1
If any item is found missing or damaged, please contact your
local reseller for replacement.
Note
The XGS-PWR350-AC/XGS-PWR350-DC is for XGS-
6350-48X2Q4C Switch hardware version 2 only.
2. Introduction
Before installation, please be sure to read this user’s manual
carefully to successfully complete the correct installation of
the XGS-PWR350-AC/XGS-PWR350-DC 350-watt Power Supply
Unit. This manual shows how to quickly install the power
supply unit in the XGS-6350-48X2Q4C Switch.
The following gure shows the front panel of the XGS-PWR350
power supply.

3. Installing Redundant Power Supply
Unit
Note
The XGS-PWR350-AC/XGS-PWR350-DC is hot-
swappable, so there is no need to power off the
switch before removing the redundant power
supply unit from the switch.
The following installation uses XGS-PWR350-AC as an example.
Follow these steps to install the redundant power supply unit in
the switch:
1. Place the switch on a at surface. Use a screwdriver to
unscrew screws on both sides of the blank plate to remove
the blank plate. Do not discard the blank plate as it can be
used again when removing the power supply unit from the
switch.

4. Removing Redundant Power Supply
Unit
Follow these steps to remove the redundant power supply unit
from the switch:
1. Remove AC power cord from the XGS-PWR350-AC.
2. To remove the redundant power supply unit from the XGS-
6350-48X2Q4C, loosen the thumbscrews counterclockwise on
both sides and use the handle to pull it out.

2. Install the redundant power supply unit by sliding it into the
compartment.

3. Next, tighten the thumbscrews clockwise on both sides.
