Precautions When Using Batteries
• Do not use old and new batteries together.
• Do not use different types of batteries (e.g.
Manganese and Alkaline batteries) together.
• Remove the batteries from the remote if you do not
intend to use it for a long time.
• When discarding used batteries, follow any guidelines
for recycling and disposal of batteries that apply in
your local area.
• Keep batteries away from children and pets.
• Never throw batteries into a fire or expose them to
extreme heat.
Remote Control
Setup
Insert two AAA size batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+ / -) inside the compartment. Make
sure the batteries are correctly aligned and properly pushed into place.

MUTE : Mute the sound. Press again to unmute
U/SD : Switch between USB/SD(TF) input modes
: Select next song/next FM channel
: Play/pause, auto scan FM channels
VOL +: Increase volume
(POWER) : Put the speaker on standby/on
NUMBER BUTTONS: Numerical input to
directly play a track.
EQ: Change the EQ mode
REP : Put the current song on repeat
: Select previous song/previous FM

Operation
Charging and Power on
• Charging: plug in the supplied power adaptor to the DC input to charge the speaker for 3 hours before use.
During charging, the charging light indicator on the control panel will light up red. Once fully charged, the light
indicator will turn off.
• Power on: turn the power on/o/volume adjustment knob on the speaker or press the POWER button on the
remote control.
Control Panel Operations
• Use the and buttons to navigate between songs, use the button to play/pause.
• Use the VOLUME adjustment knob or the VOL-/VOL+ buttons on the remote control to adjust the volume
(set the volume to 0 to mute the sound).
• Use the MIC VOL knob to adjust the microphone volume (microphone not included) and the ECHO knob to
adjust the echo level.
• Use the MODE button to switch between the input modes. The LED display screen will show the current input
mode the speaker is on.
Battery Status
• You can view the battery status of the speaker on the LED display screen. When the battery is low, the battery
icon on the display screen will ash. Please plug in the supplied power adaptor to change the speaker.
LED Light
• The speakers have LED light on both the front and back. Press and hold the MODE/LED button to turn the
lights on/o.

Bluetooth®Mode
• Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control until Bluetooth®is selected;the LED display screen on the
speaker will flash "BLUE".
• On your smart phone, search for "PL808BM." If pairing is successful, the LED display screen will stop flashing "BLUE."
You can now play music from your smart phone.
• Press the button to play/pause music, and the /buttons on either the remote or speaker to select the
previous or next track.
Alternatively, you can control music playback from your smart phone.
AUX Mode
• Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control until AUX is selected;the LED display screen will show "AUX".
• Use the supplied audio cable to connect your external device through the AUX port on the speaker.
USB Mode
• Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control until USB is selected;the LED display screen on the speaker
will show "USB".
• Insert your USB device into the USB port on the speaker. The speaker will automatically play the les and will display
the play time on the LED display.
• Press the button to play/pause music, and the /buttons on either the remote or speaker to select the
previous or next track.
• Note: If a USB device is not inserted in the speaker, USB mode will not be available.

TF (Micro SD) Card Mode
• Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control until SD/TF is selected; the LED display screen on the
speaker will show "CARD".
• Insert your TF (Micro SD) card into the TF slot on the speaker. The speaker will automatically play the les and will
display the play time on the LED display.
• Press the button to play/pause music, and the /buttons on either the remote or speaker to select the
previous or next track.
• Note: If a TF (Micro SD) card is inserted in the speaker, TF Card mode will not be available.
FM Mode
• Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control until FM is selected; the LED display screen on the speaker
will show the FM channel frequency.
• Press and hold the button and the speaker will auto scan for channels. The speaker will then automatically save
channels with a high frequency.
• Press the /buttons on either the remote or speaker to select the previous or next FM channel.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
• This speaker can be connected to another Boom All-Around speaker wirelessly and play music at the same time.
• Press the MODE button on the speaker or remote control until Bluetooth® is selected;the LED display screen will flash
"BLUE."
• On your smart phone, search for "PL808BM." Once pairing is successful, press and hold the /TWS button on
both speakers. The LED display screen will flash "t-on." and then "bt St." You will hear a notification sound on both
speakers and the LED display screen will show "bt". Both speakers can now play music simultaneously.
• To turn off TWS mode, press and hold the /TWS button on both speakers.
Microphone
• Insert a microphone (not supplied) into the MIC IN port on the speaker.
• Adjust the MIC VOL knob on the speaker to adjust the volume of the microphone and the ECHO knob to adjust the
echo level of the microphone.
• When the microphone is not in use, please unplug and store away.

To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the system yourself. If you encounter problems when using this unit, check the
following points before requesting service.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
No power • Ensure that the battery is charged or the power adaptor is connected.
Remote control
does not work
• Use the remote control closer to the speaker. Aim directly at the sensor on the front of the unit.
• Please check the battery is installed correctly.
• Replace the battery.
No response from
the speaker • Turn off the power switch and then turn on the switch.
Unable to find
PL808BM in the
Bluetooth device list
when pairing
• Ensure you have paired the speaker with your Bluetooth enabled device.
• Ensure the Bluetooth function is activated on your Bluetooth enabled device.
General sound
issues
• Make sure the speaker is set to the correct mode; make sure the volume knob is not set to off.
• Turn the volume knob to increase the volume.
• Press the VOL + button on the remote to increase the volume.
• Bluetooth mode: make sure the speaker is paired to the correct Bluetooth device.
• AUX mode: ensure you have connected the audio cable to the AUX port of the speaker, and the external
device's volume is on.
• FM mode: ensure you are on FM mode. Press the button to search for FM channels.
