NOTE: Avoid places subject to rapid changes in temperature and
humidity. Also keep the printer away from direct sunlight and heat
sources. Ideal operating conditions are 20oC temperature and
55% humidity.

First remove the top carton cover of the carton box. Then remove the
cardboard honeycomb sheets. Continue with the side carton cover.
| 02_STEP
Remove the wooden protective
structure, using a standard
screwdriver.

Unboxing
Echo2is compatible with Polyprint's
Uni Stand. If the stand is not
available, prepare a at, stable
surface with dimensions of at least
700x700 mm. The surface should
be capable of supporting more than
95kg.

| 03_STEP
Use four people to lift the printer. Lift the printer and position it carefully
on the suitable chosen surface.
NOTE:Use the handles beneath the TexJet echo² to lift it.

Remove the blue security tapes from the TexJet®echo² covers.
Fig.6: Remove the yellow safety bar.
NOTE:Do not throw it away, you will need it when transporting
the printer.
NOTE:Do not move the table tray fast.

Attach Snap On Platen on the TexJet®echo² Tower.
Printer Setup

Remove the yellow safety bar and store it at a safe place.

NOTE: Check that the source voltage is the same as the rated voltage,
listed on the SN – Rating plate. If the available power source is different
from the TexJet®echo² AC rating, do not connect it to the power source.

Connect the power cord. Turn on the blue switch at the left side of the
printer.

Connect the Emergency Stop

Press the power button. Follow the
instructions at Platen Control Panel
to set time, date and shake the
cartrdiges.

Install each sealed cartridge to their respective slots and close the cover.

NOTE: After language is selected skip the Notice display screens by
pressing Proceed, and Yes.

On the Printhead Control Panel, select the desired language.

Initial Ink Charge

Connect Texjet®echo2, from the
USB labeled port at the printer, to
the PC. Open the echo2service
program from Polyprint usb drive ,
following the path steps from Fig.11

Select Ink System Related
Check & Adjustment and then
initial Ink charge.
Click Run.

CAUTION:Ink charge takes about 10 min. Do not turn off or unplug
TexJet®echo² while ink charge is running.
Execute Echo2ServiceProgram.exe. Press OK on the rst display screen
and then select adjustment individual.

Tap on the Settings button
on the top panel. Tap
Maintenance, Print Head
Nozzle Check and Print.

Perform Nozzle Test
Insert one of the transparent
sheets that come with the
printer on the left corner of
the 34x52cm platen.
| 02_STEP
Press AUTO on the lower panel to set the platen at optimum distance
from the head. When nished, press Start Position Button or Blue
Button to send table inside.
NOTE: If Limit light turns red, lower the table by pressing the DOWN
button, until it turns off and press Start Position Button. When the
platen is inside, a READY TO PRINT indication should be displayed
on the Platen Control panel.
NOTE:If the Blue Led Button is on, tray is not at printing position.
