Installation instructions:
Carefully prepare the area where your ltration group will be installed.
Important advice:
This product must be installed on a stable, rigid, levelled surface with enoug space
provided above it for its handling and maintenance. Please ensure to follow all current
regulations in your region relative to the installation of a ltration group.
The ltration group must be secured to the ground with three xation points, ideally on
a concrete slab or a wood oor (screws not provided).
Caution: xation diameter at the base is 8 mm
Caution: maximum diameter for two screws and xing nut is 8mm.

9
Filling up with lter media:
Caution: use ltration sand specic for swimming pools. Sand granulometry must be
between 0.45 and 0.85mm. (or between 0.018-0.033 inch), general grain homoge-
neous coecient is lower than 1.75.
It is also possible to use foam type media such as «Pureow» instead of lter sand.
Step 1
Assembly of the elements of the ltration
unit.
Before loading sand or lter foam, insert the
central tube (3) into the strainer (10) until
the tube is completely clipped. Be careful
not to break the strainer clips when inserting
the tube. The safety pin must t perfectly
between the clips of the strainer.
Then turn over the strainer + central tube
assembly and install it in the ltration unit.
Step 2
Position the cap on the central tube (8) to
avoid any presence of sand in the tube.
Gradually pour 10 kg of sand to avoid spilling
it into the upper groove of the tank.
Once the sand has been poured, spread it
evenly by hand.
Step 3
Remove the cap from the central lter tube
(8).

10
Step 1
Clean the top groove of any sand that may be
inside before installing the gasket.
Step 2
The cover (A) and the lter body (B) are
equipped with a notch (C, D) to indicate the
mounting orientation of the cover. Make sure
these notches line up perfectly with each
other.
Step 3
Install the clamp ring so that it encircles the
ange of the cover and of the lter shell.
Secure using the screw (6) and the washer
(7) on one side, and the m8 nut (25) on the
other, and tighten it using a suitable screw-
driver.
Installing the control cover
Warning :
The presence of sand or any other foreign body in the groove or on the seal can cause
a leak or even an explosion of the ltration unit.

Step 4
Pass the 2 32/50 hose clamps around the
corrugated pipe, then install it so that it faces
the connection between the lter body and
the cover, as shown in the following gure.
Then tighten the hose clamps with a screw-
driver.
CAUTION: EXCESSIVE TIGHTENING
CAN DAMAGE THE HOSE.
Step 5
Install the 32/38 ttings on the cover as well
as on the ltration shell, check the provided
seal joints are in place and in good condition,
and tighten them by hand.

12
Start by installing the pre-lters in your swimming pool. They prevent large foreign
bodies from damaging the pump or its motor.
Then install the connection pipes to the swimming pool and to the 32/38 ttings of the
ltration unit and tighten them with the clamps provided.
The water is sucked in through the low inlet of the ltration unit while the delivery is
through the top side.
Warning: Check that all hoses are properly ins-
talled and tightened, that they are not pinched and
that there is sand or other lter media in the lter.
Warning: Make sure the product is properly protec-
ted against current leakage.
Warning: Never start the lter if the 6-way valve is
in the «closed» position (5).
To operate the control valve, press the valve lever
and then turn the valve to the required position.
NEVER HANDLE THE VALVE WHILE THE
PRODUCT IS FUNCTIONNING.
Connecting your ltration group to your swimming pool.
Handling the 6-way valve

13
For the rst start-up, it is important to clean the sand present in the lter.
This should be repeated from time to time when you feel that the water in your pool is
no longer suciently clean or depending on the pressure on the gauge.
Step 1
Make sure the 6-way valve is in the closed position (5).
Unscrew the drain plug (D) and insert a 32/38 connector (not supplied).
Insert a pipe to this tting and position the other end in a sewer.
Position the 6-way valve in the Backwash position (4) and start the ltration unit.
Once the drain water is no longer cloudy, stop the ltration unit.
Step 2
Position the 6-way valve on the rinsing position (2) then restart the ltration unit until
the water at the drain outlet is clear.
Step 3
Stop the ltration unit, reposition the 6-way valve to the closed position (5) then uns-
crew the drain connection pipe and reposition the drain plug (D) and tighten it, checking
that the seal is positioned and in good condition.
Step 4
Put the 6-way valve in the Filtration position (1) and reconnect the ltration unit.
You can now enjoy your pool with a cleaned lter.

14
Checking the operating values
Regular care and maintenance
Once the ltration unit has been started,
check the value indicated on the pressure
gauge. The needle should be in the green
area, if this is the case the ltration unit is
working properly.
If the gauge needle is in the Yellow zone,
immediately clean the sand bed or change
the sand. Use the backwash function as
previously indicated.
If the needle is in the red zone of the pres-
sure gauge, immediately stop the ltration
unit and carry out its diagnosis.
Maintenance of the sand is important and
must be carried out regularly, at the risk
of causing damage to the product or even
serious damage.
Make sure the ltration unit is not in operation.
Place the plugs supplied with your swimming
pool in the inlets and outlets of your pool.
Position the 6-way valve in the Closed position
(5)
Unscrew the 32/38 connection from the bottom
of the ltration unit, remove the prelter and its
seal.
Rinse with clean water to remove any impuri-
ties present, you can also use a small plastic
toothbrush type brush.
Clean the gasket, taking care not to damage it.
Reinstall the pre-lter and its gasket, then re-
place the 32/38 tting.
CAUTION: THE FILTER MUST BE EMPTIED AND CLEANED IN TIME. DIRT OR
FILTER BLOCKAGE WILL REDUCE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SAND FIL-
TER PUMP OR EVEN DAMAGE IT.

15
Long term storage or winter storage
Never use the ltration unit if the temperature is close to 0 ° C or if the water in the
swimming pool or in the pipes is frozen. This will damage the ltration unit and void its
warranty.
Before storing the ltration unit, be sure to drain the water present in the lter unit. To
do this, the lter unit must be disconnected from the pool.
Unscrew the tank drain plug (12) making sure that the 6-way valve is in the ltration
position.
Dry all hoses before storage to prevent mold.
Also dry all the joints and apply a lubricant to prevent them from cracking.
Return all parts of the product to its original packaging, avoid storing it in an airtight
plastic bag to avoid corrosion problems.
Store the lter unit and its parts in a cool, dry place away from frost.
