are marked with this symbol fulfil all appli-
cable Community regulations of the European Eco-
nomic Area.
2. Safety
Intended use
The lamp is intended as a mobile work lamp
for indoor use. The product and its battery
can withstand extreme physical shocks (1.0
m / S3 @ 200 - 2,000 Hz). This product is
not intended for commercial or other non-in-
tended use. This product is not suitable for the house-
hold room lighting. The lamp is not intended for com-
mercial use. Different usage or a modification to the
lamp are not deemed as intended use and may lead
to risks, such as injuries and damage. The distributor
assumes no liability for damage that results from im-
proper use.

uids or in damp spaces. There is a

- The lamp may not be submerged in water.

Do not attempt to alter the lamp, the
mains power adapter unit or the car
charger! There is a risk of injury due
to electric shock!
- Under no circumstances may the housing be
opened and the lamp, the mains power adapter
unit or the car charger adapter be manipulated/
altered in any way. Manipulations/modifications
may cause life-threatening injuries due to electric
shock. Manipulations/modifications are prohibit-
ed for approval reasons (CE).
Check voltages!
- Make sure that the available mains voltage
corresponds to the information on the type
plate of the mains power adapter. Non-com-
pliance may lead to excessive heat development.
- The lamp may not be covered during use.
- Never handle the mains power adapter or car
charger with wet hands when they are in use.

- The flexible connection on the mains power adapt-
er, and on the 12 V car charger adapter is not
exchangeable. If the flexible connector on the
mains power adapter or the 12 V car charger is
damaged, the entire mains power adapter or the
12 V car charger including the connection cable
must be disposed of.

- Do not use the lamp in the case of malfunc-
tions, damages or defects. If you find a defect in
the lamp, have it checked and repaired if neces-
sary, before putting it back into operation. Failure
to do so may result in electric shock.

- The lamp may not be used in potentially
explosive (Ex) environments. The lamp is not ap-
proved for use in an environment containing flam-
mable liquids, gases or dust.

- Children over the age of 8, as well as
persons with impaired physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or a lack of experience and
knowledge, must be supervised when using the
lamp and/or be instructed on the safe use of the
lamp and understand the resulting dangers.
- Children may not play with the lamp.
- Maintenance and/or cleaning of the lamp may
not be performed by children without supervision.
Prevent the lamp from being used by unau-
thorised individuals (especially children)!
- Keep the lamp in a dry, high, safe place out of the
reach of children.
Observe national regulations!
- Observe the applicable national provisions and
regulations for the use and disposal of the lamp.
Pay attention to ambient conditions!
- The lamp may not be used in ambient tempera-
tures of above 40 °C or below 0 °C and/or in
environments with flammable gases, solvents, va-
pours and dust.
Use of the lamp/mains power adapter/car
charger/solar panel!
- The lamp may only be charged with the supplied
mains power adapter, the car charging adapter or
the solar panel.
- The mains power adapter, car charger adapter
and the solar panel may only be used to charge
the lamp.
NOTE!
- The light source (LED) of the lamp is permanent-
ly installed and therefore not replaceable. If the
light source (LED) is defective or has reached its
maximum service life and no longer functions, the
complete lamp must be replaced.
6. Safety instructions for recharge-
able batteries
!
WARNING!
Fire and explosion hazard!
- Keep the product away from heat sources
and direct sunlight, since the battery may ex-
plode if overheated. There is a risk of injury.
- Do not operate the lamp in its packaging!

Risk of injury!
Do not touch leaked batteries with bare
hands! There is a risk of injury!
- Leaked or damaged batteries may cause acid
burns if they come into contact with skin. Do not
touch leaked batteries with bare hands; there-
fore, ensure that you wear appropriate protective
gloves in such a case!
NOTE!
- The lamp has a built-in rechargeable battery that
cannot be replaced by the user. In order to avoid
hazards, the battery may only be removed or re-
charged by the manufacturer or its service agent
or by a similarly qualified individual.
- When disposing of the lamp, please note that this
lamp contains a rechargeable battery.
7. Use
NOTE!
Before the start-up
The battery 7 must be charged for 12 hours with
the included mains power adapter 3 before the first
use. The battery 7 is permanently installed in the
rear attachment part 2 of the lamp.
The battery can be recharged using the mains pow-
er adapter 3 at a power outlet, by means of a car
charging adapter 4 through a cigarette lighter of
your car,11 or by means of the solar panel. During
the charging process, the charging lamp lights up 15
red. When the battery is 100% charged, the charg-
ing light 15 turns green. Please refer to the technical
data for charging times.
!
WARNING!
We recommend charging by means of a mains
power adapter 3 and an electrical outlet to prevent
your car’s battery from being discharged.
If your car’s battery is old, the lamp battery should
not be recharged in the car. It is possible that your
car will not start afterwards.
NOTE!
Charging the battery with mains power
adapter or car charger (A2) / (A3)
1. Before you start the charging process, switch off
the 1 work lamp. To do this, press the push but-
ton 5.
2. Remove the attachment part 2 from the work
lamp 1. For this, press the two lateral locking
hooks at the same time 6 and pull out the attach-
ment part 2 from the work lamp 1.
3. Plug in the connector plug 9 of the mains power
adapter 3 or the car charging adapter 4 into
the connection socket 8 (A3).
!
WARNING!
When charging using the car charger, the
car charger must always be fully inserted
into the car’s cigarette lighter. Otherwise
there is a risk of fire due to overheating.
NOTE!
The battery is equipped with overcharging protec-
tion.
However, you should disconnect the battery from
the mains power adapter or car charger when the
charging is complete.
1. Disconnect the mains power adapter 3 from
the wall socket, or respectively the car charging
adapter 4 from the cigarette lighter.
- After the charging is finished, always disconnect
the car charger adapter 4 from battery 7 so
that the car battery doesn’t discharge.
2. Disconnect the connection plug 9 of the respec-
tive charger from the connection socket 8.
3. Insert the attachment part 2 to the work lamp
again 1 until the locking hooks audibly engage.
In order to position the attachment part 2 cor-
rectly again, there is a guide mandrel provided
on the contact pin. Through this is only possible

for the attachment part to be inserted 2 as illus-
trated in (A2).
Charging the battery with the integrated
solar panel (A4)
1. Before you start the charging process, switch off
the 1 work lamp. To do this, press the push but-
ton 5.
3. Press the locking button 10 .
4. Fold out the solar panel 11 and adjust it accord-
ing to the sun’s rays.
When the charging process is complete, fold the so-
lar panel closed 11 again until the locking button
clicks in 10 audibly.
NOTE!
In order to perform a charging with the solar panel,
you may detach 11 the attachment part 2 from the
1 work lamp. Please note that charging with a solar
panel 11 may take up to 50 hours.
NOTE!
During further charging processes with the mains
power adapter, 3 the charging time (maximum 12
hours) will be shortened depending on the remain-
ing battery capacity.
NOTE!
The lamp should be charged once a month if it
will not be used for a long time. If the lamp wasn’t
charged for an extended period of time (approx. 2
months), the battery will be in sleep mode. The lamp
should then be recharged and discharged several
times so that the battery is reactivated.
Setting up the lamp
Place the lamp in an appropriate location.
NOTE!
- The surface should be level so that the lamp
cannot fall over. There should be sufficient open
space around the lamp.
Switching the lamp on and off
1. Switch on the lamp by pressing the push button

- By pressing the push button 5 again, the lamp
can be turned off.
Adjusting the handle (A5)
The handle 12 of the lamp can be used in 2 posi-
tions:
- Position 1): the handle is parallel to the lamp.
- Position 2): the handle is at a right angle to the
lamp.
1. To change the position of the handle 12 , press
the locking button 13 and move the handle to
the 12 desired position at the same time. When
the new position is reached, the locking button
engages 13 audibly.
2. If the handle 12 is to be moved to the old posi-
tion again, press the locking button 13 and move
the handle 12 back to the initial position until the
locking button 13 audibly clicks into place.
Variable lamp base (A6)
The lamp has a base 14 which can be used in 3
height levels. To do this, simply fold down the base
14 . It engages at the respective levels:
- Height level 1): the base 14 is followed in, the
lamp is parallel to the ground.
- Height level 2): the base 14 is folded out in posi-
tion 1 and allows the lamp to be positioned at an
angle of approx. 35°.
- Height level 3): the base 14 is folded out com-
pletely, and allows the lamp to be positioned at
an angle of approx. 20°.
!
CAUTION!
If the lamp is not being used, the handle 12 and the
base 14 should each be folded in at the position 1).
Otherwise, injuries could occur.
8. Troubleshooting
ERRORS POSSIBLE CAUSE AND
REMEDY
No function With a connection via mains
power adapter:
- The mains power adapter 3 is
not fully plugged in.
- Check that the power outlet is
working properly
- Check the fuses of the building.
No function When connected to the ciga-
rette lighter:
- Is the cigarette lighter supplied
with power? Some cigarette
lighters only switch on when the
car is started.
- Check the fuses of the vehicle.
Charging process
takes a very long
time
When connected to the ciga-
rette lighter:
- Is the car's battery too old or too
weak?
- Check the fuses of the vehicle.
9. Cleaning and care instructions
!
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Prior to cleaning, the mains power
adapter must be disconnected from
the power supply. There is a risk of
electric shock!
- only clean with a dry cloth
- do not use any harsh detergents/chemicals
- do not immerse in water
- store in a cool, dry place, protected from UV light
NOTE!
- Allow the lamp to cool completely before
storing. There is a risk of excessive heating.
10. Conformity declaration
This device complies with the fundamental
requirements and other relevant regula-
tions of the European Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU, as well as the
Low-Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the RoHS
Directive 2011/65/EU. The complete original con-
formity declaration is available from the importer.
11. Disposal
The packaging and operating instruc-
tions are made of 100 % environmen-
tally friendly materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling centres.
Disposal of the battery
- Defective or used rechargeable batteries
have to be recycled in accordance with Di-
rective 2006/66/EC and its amendments.
- Batteries and disposable batteries are not per-
mitted to be disposed of with household waste.
They contain harmful heavy metals. Marking: Pb
(= lead), Hg (= mercury), Cd (= cadmium). You
are legally obligated to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. After use, you can either
return batteries to our point of sale or in the di-
rect vicinity (e.g. with a retailer or in municipal
collection centres) free of charge. Batteries and
rechargeable batteries are marked with a crossed-
out waste bin.
The product may not be disposed of with nor-
mal household waste. Please find out about
disposal options for the product from your
local authority or town administration.
Only dispose of the product at a collection point for
electrical waste. Batteries and rechargeable batter-
ies should not be disposed of with household waste!
Please return batteries and/or rechargeable batter-
ies and/or the device via the respectively provided
collection facilities. The old appliances disposal is
not performed at the point of sale.

12. Warranty
Warranty of the Tradix GmbH & Co. KG.
Dear customer, this device comes with a three-year
warranty, valid from the date of purchase. In case
of defects of this product, you will have legal rights
towards the seller of this product. These legal rights
shall not be limited by our warranty as set out below.
13. Warranty conditions
The warranty term starts on the date of purchase.
Please keep the original receipt in a safe place. This
document is required as proof of purchase.
If within a period of three years following the date
of purchase, this product displays material or manu-
facturing defects, we shall - at our discretion - repair
or replace the product free of charge. This warranty
assumes that within a period of three years the de-
fective device and the proof of purchase (receipt)
are submitted and that a brief written description of
the defect, including when it occurred, is provided.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, you shall
receive a repaired or a new product. The repair or
exchange of the product does not commence a new
warranty term.
