The Composite Filter consists of 3 Filters: Preliminary Filter, Charcoal Filter, and HEPA
Filter.
Filter replacement differs according to the pollution levels of the actual
environment. Replacement of Filter can be estimated according to the sound and
smell of the appliance. If bad odours are released from the Air Outlet, it means that
the Filter’s filtration and adsorption volume is saturated.
In households with a large number of smokers, or adjacent to construction sites,
industrial factories, etc., the Filter replacement cycle may be shortened to once in
every 6 months.
To replace the Composite Filter, turn the Rotary Switch counterclockwise to“OFF”.
Switch off the appliance and unplug the socket of the Power Cable from the electric
mains.
Wait for the appliance to cool down completely.
Hold the Front Panel with both hands and remove the Front Panel.
Take out the Composite Filter and wrap the Composite Filter in a garbage bag to
prevent pollutants on the Composite Filter from falling onto the floor.
Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up dirt from the Air Inlet and Air Outlet, and also to
clean the surface dust.
Adjust the direction of the new Composite Filter corresponding to the Filter slot on
the appliance and insert the new Filter.
Clean the exterior parts of the appliance thoroughly with warm water &
dish-washing agent and a damp cloth, and immediately wipe dry.
DO NOT use a scrubbing brush.
DO NOT use any of the following agents as a cleaner: gasoline, thinners, or benzene.
