Importante: Tenga en cuenta que el tiempo máximo permitido por ciclo en 10 minutos con el fin de
proteger el motor. Después de es la unidad debe descansar al menos 30 minutos.
•Al utilizar aparatos eléctricos deben tenerse en cuenta las siguientes recomendaciones:
•Lea todas las instrucciones antes de comenzar a usar el aparato.
•Verifique que la fuente de poder corresponde con la unidad.
•No introduzca el equipo en agua u otros líquidos por ninguna razón.
•Antes de limpiar desconecte siempre el equipo.
•Esta unidad está diseñada solamente para uso en interiores. No la use en exteriores.
•No utilice ningún accesorio con el aparato ya que puede causar lesiones, choque eléctrico o
incendios.
•No mueva la unidad halando del cable del poder. Tampoco doble ni enrolle el cable.
•Asegúrese de que la unidad está puesta en una superficie plana y nivelada.
•No corte la comida solamente utilizando sus manos. Utilice el mecanismo propio del cortador para
hacerlo.
•Tenga máxima precaución al manipular las cuchillas en especial cuando esté limpiando la unidad.
•Mantenga la unidad limpia en todo momento.
•Asegúrese de que la unidad está desconectada antes de desarmarla o limpiarla.
•Evite el contacto con las partes móviles.
•Se requiere estricta supervisión si la unidad se encuentra cerca de niños.
•No utilice la unidad si observa que el cable de poder o el enchufe están dañados, si observa alguna
falla con la unidad a si se ha golpeado de alguna manera. Lleve la unidad a un centro de servicio
autorizado para revisión y reparación.
•No coloque la unidad cerca de fuentes de gas o quemadores eléctricos ni sobre un horno caliente.
CABLE DE PODER
Esta unidad cuenta con un enchufe polarizado. Una de las dos patas es un poco más ancha que la otra.
Con el fin de reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico el enchufe de ser conectado solamente en una
posición en el tomacorriente. Si observa que el enchufe no entra en esa posición, gírelo e intente de
nuevo. Se aún no entra es probable que el tomacorriente deba ser reemplazado. En este caso póngase
en contacto con un electricista calificado. No modifique el enchufe de ninguna manera.
1. La unidad cuenta con un cable de poder corto con el fin de reducir el riesgo de enredarse en este.
2. Se pueden utilizar extensiones si es necesario teniendo el cuidado correspondiente. Si desea utilizar
un cable más largo tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
•La capacidad eléctrica del nuevo cable o extensión debe ser igual o mayor que la capacidad
eléctrica de la unidad.
•Si la unidad es de polo a tierra, el nuevo cable también debe serlo.
•Coloque el cable de tal forma de que no se enreden las personas en él para prevenir accidentes.
Importante: Con el fin de prevenir choque eléctrico no introduzca el cable de poder en agua.

ANTES DE USAR
Esta unidad no es para uso profesional. El no seguir correctamente las instrucciones puede dañar el
motor. Recuerde que el tiempo máximo de operación continua es de 10 minutos. Después de este
tiempo la unidad deberá alcanzar al menos 30 minutos.
1. Desempaque con precaución la unidad y límpiela como se muestra en la sección de limpieza y
mantenimiento.
2. Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie plana y estable para trabajar.
3. Asegúrese de que esté en la posición de apagado.
4. Conecte el enchufe al tomacorriente.
Para un uso seguro, la unidad cuenta con un protector de pulgar y empujador que protegerán sus
manos. La plataforma le permite hacer movimientos deslizantes a lo largo de la cuchilla para rebanar
los alimentos. Utilice la manija para hacer el movimiento de deslizamiento. Utilice siempre el empujador
para mantener la comida en posición cuando la esté cortando.

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
1. Limpie todas las partes de la unidad antes de comenzar a utilizarla por primera vez. La unidad debe
estar apagada y desconectada.
2. Asegúrese de que la unidad está firme y coloque el empujador en la plataforma.
3. Ahora conecte el cable de poder, asegurándose de que esté apagada.
4. Coloque un plato debajo de la cuchilla para recoger las tajadas.
5. Libere la plataforma de la cuchilla y coloque la comida que va a rebanar en la placa de acero
inoxidable.
6. Utilizando el empujador, empuje la comida en contra del lado móvil de la unidad y seleccione el
grosor de la tajada girando la perilla.
7. Encienda la unidad. La cuchilla comenzará a girar y la luz indicadora se encenderá.
8. El uso de la plataforma y el empujador mantendrán la presión en el lado móvil de la unidad. Si se
hace difícil tajar la comida, mueva el empujador un poco hacia atrás el inicio de nuevo la operación
haciéndolo un poco más despacio.
9. Para evitar que la comida se pegue a la unidad usted puede aplicar antes un poco de aceite a la
cuchilla con una toalla húmeda. Recuerde que la unidad debe estar apagada y desconectada para
hacer esto.
10.No intente cortar carne con huesos, comida con semillas grandes, comida congelada o partes duras
de la comida. Igualmente retire primero cualquier envoltura que tenga la comida.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
•El interruptor debe estar en la posición apagada y la unidad desconectada antes de comenzar la
limpieza.
•Limpie el interior y el exterior de la unidad con una toalla de papel o prenda suave. La aplicación no
debe ser lavada en lavaplatos.
•No utilice productos químicos abrasivos o herramientas duras ya que pueden dañar el acabado.
•No introduzca la unidad en agua ni en otros líquidos.
•Seque todas las partes muy bien antes de almacenar.

NOTES ON THE CORD PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only in one way. If the plug does not fit fully into an electrical outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
A. A shorter power-supply cord (or detached power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from being entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
B. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
C. If a long detachable power-supply cords or extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least
equal or great than the electrical rating of the appliance.
2. If the appliance is a grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.

BEFORE USE
This appliance is not for professional use. Failure to follow instructions carefully may damage the motor.
Please refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (10 minutes is the maximum
usage time). Duty cycle is 10 minutes on and 30 minutes off.
1. Carefully unpack the Meat Slicer and clean it as instructed in CARE AND MAINTENANCE.
2. Place the Meat Slicer on a stable and level surface for operation.
3. Make sure the Meat Slicer is in the OFF position.
4. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
For safe use, this appliance is fitted with a thumb guard and pusher that will protect your hands. The
platform allows you to make sliding motions along the blade for slicing food. Use the handle to make the
slicing movement. Always use the pusher to hold the food in position when slicing.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: For safety, this appliance is fitted with the platform including thumb guard and pusher
that will protect your hands.
The platform allows you to make motions along the blade to cut the slices. Use the handle to
move the blade. The pusher allows you to hold the food in position while keeping your hands
away from the blade. Always use the pusher.
1. Clean all parts of the appliance before its first use. The unit must be shut off and unplugged from the
electrical outlet.
2. Make sure the appliance is steady and place the pusher on the platform.
3. After making sure that the unit is switched off, plug the cord in an electrical outlet.
4. Place a plate or a dish below the blade to collect the slices.
5. Free the platform from the blade and lay the food to be sliced on the stainless steel plate.
6. Using the pusher, push the food against the mobile side of the appliance and select the slicing
thickness by turning the adjusting knob.
7. Switch the Meat Slicer on; the blade will rotate and the indicator light will turn on.
8. The use of the platform and the pusher will keep the pressure on the mobile side of the appliance. If it
becomes difficult to slice the food, move backward and start the operation again by approaching the
blade slowly.
9. To avoid food sticking to the appliance, you can moisten or oil the blade with a wet towel beforehand.
MAKE SURE THE UNIT IS TURNED OFF AND UNPLUGGED.
10. Do not slice meat with bones, food with large seeds, rolled roast without removing: strings, wrappers
(i.e. aluminum foil), frozen food, and hard inedible food parts.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. The switch must be in the OFF position and the appliance MUST be unplugged from the power supply
before cleaning the appliance
2. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with paper towel or soft cloth. The appliance should not
be washed in a dishwasher.
3. Do not clean the inside or outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will damage the
finish.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
5. Dry all parts well before putting away for storage.
