Hardware Installation
1.The step by step installation of TV tuner module on 17”TFT LCD monitor is described below.

2.First,remove the plastic back cover by pushing clips in two sides .
3.Locate pin connector on the TV tuner and the pin connector on monitor indicated.
4. Slide the TV tuner module into the right side of the spare space of the back of monitor,and gently plug the optional
TV tuner into the connector mentioned at Step 3 .
5.Screw to fixTV tuner module on the supporting sheet metal and re-install the color back panel.

6. Insert the RCA video signal cable into VIDEO port, and the other side to RCA Video output on sources such as DVD
player……….
7. Insert the S-Video signal cable into S-IN port, and the other side to S-Video output on sources such as DVD
player……….
8.Insert the TV signal cable intoTV port,from the local cable TV system provider……….
9.Congratulations again! You’ve done an incredible job and can start to enjoy it.
OSD (On-Screen Display) Menu Mode (TV/CATV )
Step 1.Press the MENU to access OSD,then press the ADJUST buttons to select option from the menu
bar on top of OSD.The TV/CATV mode screen display is shown as in Figure 1.
Step 2. Press the MENU button under TV/CATV mode to access options listed. Press the ADJUST buttons for choosing
among the options.Select COUNTRY option first and press MENU again to enter COUNTRY selection.Use ADJUST but-
tons to choose the country or area you are located and press EXIT to confirm.You will see 5 a blank screen and the tuner
will be set to proper local system as selected.(OSD menu will disappear after EXIT pressed.)

Step 3. Repeat Step1and then press the MENU button under TV/CATV mode. Press ADJUST button to highlight AIR-
CABLE option,then press MENU again to enter AIR-CABLE selection as shown in Figure 3.Press ADJUST button to select
the signal options,TV or CATV.(OSD menu will disappear after setting is done.)
Step 4.Repeat the Step1.Press MENU button underTV/CATV mode,and then press ADJUST button to choose CH SEARCH-
ING option.Press MENU again to enter CH-SEARCHING selection as shown in Figure 4.Press ADJUST button to
select YES,and system will start to search for the signals of all channels.
Step 5. When selected channel signals displaying is unstable, repeat Step1and press MENU button under TV/CATV
mode,then press ADJUST buttons to choose CH FINETUNE option.Press MENU again to enter CH FINETUNE selection as
shown in Figure 5.Press ADJUST buttons to adjust the displaying signals of selected channel.

Remote Control
Use the remote control by point toward the IR sensor window.
Notice:
1.The remote may not work properly during the low battery condition.
2.Do not place the remote under direct sunlight or area with high humidity.
If the remote control fails to operation,replace the battery in the remote control.
Notice:
Insert battery (Lithium battery) with its terminals corresponding to the <+>and <-> indications in
the battery compartment.

MCU UPDATA
Before entering windows OS.Please enter bios settings and adjust printer port to SPP mode
1.Plug the printer cord to the computer’s printer port and the other side to Tooling card as it shows above.

2.Plug the R.G.B cable to the analogs port and the other side toTooling card as it shows above.
3.Insert the DC cable to (DC in) port,and make sure it is ready for power on.However, don’t turn on the LCD right now.

4.Run“ Easy Writer”on your desktop
5.Choose the correct CUP speed then close that window.

6.Click the“ Auto“ to start update. 7. Click the “ Load File” to open the new firmware
(JW560A.omf.hex) and you need to update file.
8.When“ Auto process Finish”,the new firmware has been
fully installed.
9. IF pop up error message windows as it shows above,
Please check below steps:
Step 1:chech connect DSP 25Pin cable from ISP board to
PC parallel port
Step 2:check connect VGA cable from ISP board to Moni-
torVGA input connector
Step 3:check input DC power supply is correct
Step 4:check adjust to CPU clock speed is correct
Step 5:check load *.HEX file is correct
