Thank you for purchasing TV tuner module. Please make sure the following accessories are included in the package.
Contact your dealer if anything is missing.

Hardware Installation
1.The step by step installation of TV tuner module on 17”TFT LCD monitor is described below.

2.First,remove the plastic back cover by pushing clips in two sides .
3.Locate pin connector on the TV tuner and the pin connector on monitor indicated.
4. Slide theTV tuner module into the right side of the spare space of the back of monitor,and gently plug the optional
TV tuner into the connector mentioned at Step 3 .
5.Screw to fix TV tuner module on the supporting sheet metal and re-install the color back panel.

6. Insert the RCA video signal cable into VIDEO port, and the other side to RCA Video output on sources such as DVD
player……….
7. Insert the S-Video signal cable into S-IN port, and the other side to S-Video output on sources such as DVD
player……….
8.Insert the TV signal cable into TV port,from the local cable TV system provider……….
9.Congratulations again! You’ve done an incredible job and can start to enjoy it.
OSD (On-Screen Display) Menu Mode (TV/CATV )
Step1.
Press the MENU to access OSD,then press the ADJUST buttons to select option from the menu bar on top of OSD.The TV/
CATV mode screen display is shown as in Figure 1.
Step2.
Press the MENU button underTV/CATV mode to access options listed.Press the ADJUST buttons for choosing among the
options.Select COUNTRY option first and press MENU again to enter COUNTRY selection.Use ADJUST buttons to choose
the country or area you are located and press EXIT to confirm.You will see 5 a blank screen and the tuner will be set to
proper local system as selected.(OSD menu will disappear after EXIT pressed.)

Step3.
Repeat Step1and then press the MENU button under TV/CATV mode. Press ADJUST button to highlight AIR-CABLE
option, then press MENU again to enter AIR-CABLE selection as shown in Figure 3.Press ADJUST button to select the
signal options,TV or CATV.(OSD menu will disappear after setting is done.)
Step4.
Repeat the Step1.Press MENU button under TV/CATV mode,and then press ADJUST button to choose CH SEARCHING
option. Press MENU again to enter CH-SEARCHING selection as shown in Figure 4.Press ADJUST button to select YES,
and system will start to search for the signals of all channels.
Step5.
When selected channel signals displaying is unstable,repeat Step1and press MENU button underTV/CATV mode,then
press ADJUST buttons to choose CH FINE TUNE option.Press MENU again to enter CH FINE TUNE selection as shown in
Figure 5.Press ADJUST buttons to adjust the displaying signals of selected channel.

Remote Control
Use the remote control by pointing it toward the IR sensor window.
Notice:
1.The remote may not work properly during the low battery condition.
2.Do not place the remote under direct sunlight or area with high humidity.If the remote control
fails to operation,replace the battery in the remote control.
Notice:
Insert battery (Lithium battery) with its terminals corresponding to the <+>and <-> indications in
the battery compartment.

Trouble Shooting:
Q1. If remote control is not working, please take considerations of following reasons and ways to resolve the
problems:
1.Without pointing to the receiver directly? Please point the remote control straight toward the receiver.
2.The battery is dead? Please change another new battery.
3.The battery terminals are in wrong position? Reverse the position of battery terminals.
4.Obstacle between the remote control and the receiver? Remove obstacle.
5.Please use the remote control at the range of 7 meters in front of the receiver.
Q2.The TV signal shows on screen in silence.
1.Check if the TV channel you’re watching is the only one in silence.
2.Check if the“MUTE” function is on.
3.Re-connect the signal cable or power cord
4. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.
Q3.The TV tuner cannot detect most of the CATV channels
1.Make sure the setting of OSD Country is correct.(Please refer to Page 6)
2.Check if OSD set to“TV”by mistaken.
3.Reset the OSC to“CATV”and do channel auto-scan again.
4. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.
Q4.Stripe or interference occurs on screen of CATV channel.
1.Check if screens of other CATV channels are normal.
2.If the other channels are normal,please select OSD“CH FINE TUNE”and fine tune display using <+> or <-> selec-
tion.
3. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.
Q5.One of the Audio / Video input does not give screen display…
1.Check if the s-video cable or composite cable is connected.
2.Check if the display mode of your monitor is set to the right AV input signals.
3. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.
Q6.There’s no stereo or MTS sound effects…
1.Check if the program you’re watching is broadcasted with stereo or MTS signal.
2.Check if stereo/MTS sound effect is correctly set.
3. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.
Q7.There’s no screen, but sound onTV mode…
1.Check if the channel you’re watching is the only channel without screen.
2.Make sure if other channels also have no screen…
3. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.

Q8.The TV displays monochrome only or over-saturated color
1.Check if“SATURATION”and“TINT”of the“ADJUST” selection are adjusted to maximum or minimum by mistake.
2.Check if other channels are monochrome…
3. If the above actions still cannot resolve the problem,please contact your dealer or store where you purchased the
product.
Important Note:
Press the“Source”button on the Remote Control will cause not display in TV/CVBS/S-Video mode,
users must Press the“+” keypad on the front of Panel to selectTV/CVBS/Video mode again for display
again.
