Sharpening Instructions
1.Placetheknifesharpeneronaat,stablesurface.Sharpenershouldbepositionedneartheedgeofthecountertoptoinsurethatyou
donotinadvertentlycutthecountertopduringsharpening.
2.Grasptheknifesharpenerhandlewithonehandandinserttheknifebladeinthesharpeningslot.Pressingdownwithmoderatepres-
sure,slowlydrawthebladethroughtheslotkeepingtheknifelevel.Ifthebladehasasharpcurvedtip,liftupontheknifehandle
slightlyasthecurvedportionofthebladeisdrawnthroughtheguides.Repeatprocedurethreetofourtimesoruntilknifeisrazor
sharp.Note:Whensharpeningcertaintypesofknivesyoumaynoticesmallmetallingsbeingremoved.Thisisnormal.
3.Beforeusingtheknifetoslicefood,alwayswipetheknifebladewithadampclothtoremoveanymetallingsthatmayremain
fromthesharpeningprocess.
Cleaning Instructions
Cleantheknifesharpenerwithadampclothornon-abrasivebrush.Donotrinsewithwater.
*Notforusewithsomesmallkitchenkniveslikeparingkniveswherethebottomofthebladeisushwiththehandle.
