Primera Server XR User manual

The Server XR can be configured with the following standard
PC components:
•MicroATX Motherboard
Please note: The remaining component specifications are
greatly dependant upon the specification of this motherboard
•CPU
•CPU Fan
•ATX Power Supply with rear facing fan
•Up to 4 3.5 SATA or IDE Drives
•RAM
Once the Sever XR is fully configured it can be attached to the top of
any XR series Publisher using the instructions below.
1. Remove two posidrive screws securing the top portion of the
XR duplicator cover. Keep the screws. You will need them in a
moment.
2. Locate the mounting hooks on the bottom of the server case.
3. Locate the corresponding mounting holes on the top of the XR
series publisher. Attach the Server by first inserting the hooks
and then carefully tipping the back of the server onto the XR
publisher.
4. Push the server forward until the rear bracket is tight against
the back of the XR publisher. Replace the posidrive screws by
inserting them through the holes in the bracket and into the XR
publisher case.
Thank you for Purchasing the Server XR. The Server XR includes the
pre-installed components shown in the diagram below. To access these
components, remove the cover by unscrewing 7 #1 Posidrive screws
attaching it to the sides and the back. Two screws are located on each
side and three screws are located on the back.
Notes: (1) Although the Posidrive screw looks similar to a Phillips screw it
is not recommended that you use a Phillips screwdriver. The screw-
driver may slip and damage the screw head.
(2) The Server XR occupies 2U in a rackmount installation.
(3) If PCI cards will be installed, low profile PCI cards must be used. Note: The Server XR can also be used as a stand alone device by removing the
mounting hooks and rear support bracket and attaching the included
rubber feet.

and plastic ties. (Taped to the base of
the Server XR.)
