IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using your Princess product. By ignoring
the safety instructions Princess cannot be held responsible for the
damage. When using an electrical appliance, basic safety
precautions should always be observed, including the following:
IMPORTANT: This appliance is not intended for use by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children shall not use or
play with this appliance. Close supervision is necessary to keep
appliance and cord out of reach of children during use.
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:
• Never move the appliance by pulling the
cord and make sure the cord does not
become entangled. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance must be placed on a stable,
level surface.
• The user must not leave the device
unattended while it is connected to the
supply.
• This appliance is only to be used for
household purposes and only for the
purpose it is made for.
• To protect yourself against an electric shock,
do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance
in the water or any other liquid.
• CAUTION: In order to avoid hazard, this
appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate
remote control system.
• To prevent fire or shock hazard do not
expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
• Do not allow children to use the device
without supervision.
• Always switch off and remove the power
cord from the electrical outlet before
changing accessories or approaching parts
that move in use.
• Always remove the power cord from the
electrical outlet if it is left unattended and
before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
• It is absolutely necessary to keep this
appliance clean at all times, because it
comes into direct contact with food.
• DO NOT overfill.
• CAUTION: DO NOT PROCESS HOT
FOODS OR HOT LIQUIDS. Allow hot
ingredients to cool before processing.

• Keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils out
of container while processing to reduce the
risk of severe injury to persons or damage to
the appliance. A scraper may be used ONLY
when the appliance is not running.
• IMPORTANT: The chopping blades are very
sharp, and must be handled with care. When
handling the blades, always hold by the
shaft. Failure to do so will result in a risk of
laceration.
• THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR
HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do not use this
appliance for anything other than its intended
use. Do not use outdoors.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance andaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe
stickers,protective foilorplasticfrom thedevice.
• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum
of 10cm free space around the device. This device is not suitable
for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage
which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before
connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz).
• Never use the mixer for longer than 1 minute continuously. After
this, allow the mixer to cool down for 5 minutes.
• Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all
removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
USE
• CAUTION: Always turn off and unplug from the wall power socket
before fitting or removing attachments.
• CAUTION: DO NOT handle by the blade. The blade attachments
are very sharp. Use caution when handling and storing.
• Connect the stainless steel stick (5) to the motor unit by aligning
the notches on the motor unit with the recesses on the
attachment. Press the attachment up onto the motor unit until it
clicks into place, securely locking the attachment and the motor
unit together.
• Plug in the power cable to the wall socket.
• To avoid splashing, place the blender shaft into your ingredients
before operating the blender. Select the optimal speed for
blending by turning the speed control dial (1) from 1 to 5, with one
being the slowest speed and five the fastest.

• With a firm grip on the blender, Press and hold the Normal speed
power button (2) to start blending. Keep a firm hold of the beaker,
bowl or saucepan handle as you blend.
• When you use the Turbo speed button (3), the appliance
operates at maximum speed. In this case, you can’t adjust the
speed with the speed control dial (1). For maximum blending
power, press and hold the Turbo button (3).
• Make a rotating, up and down motion to obtain even blending of
the food.
• The stick (5) and the measuring cup (6) are designed for
pureeing foods such as soups, sauces, milkshakes, smoothies,
baby food or crushing ice. It is not suitable for grinding hard items
such as coffee beans. Do not blend hot liquids.
• Note: for crushing ice cubes, add some water in the measuring
cup. Remove any bones from the meat and cut food into cubes of
1-2 cm.
• To disengage the attachment from the motor unit, unplug the
device first, press and hold the release buttons while pulling
down the attachment to disengage from the motor unit.
PRACTICAL HINTS
• The ingredients must at least cover the lower part of the blender
shaft for the process to be successful.
• Remove any cooking vessels (e.g. saucepan) from the source of
heat before blending hot ingredients.
• Leave cooked foods to cool down for a while before blending/
mixing. CAUTION: Do not blend hot/warm ingredients - always
allow to cool to room temperature before blending.
• For fibrous foods (leeks, celery, asparagus, etc) clean the
blender shaft regularly during use. Always follow the safety
instructions for disassembly and cleaning.
• For fruit-based preparations, first cut up the fruit into manageable
sized pieces and remove pips, stones and thick skins.
• Use short bursts only when processing hard foods like sugar,
cereals, chocolate, seeds and nuts.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the appliance. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe
appliance surfaces.
• Clean the accessories with warm soapy water to avoid bacterial
growth. The accessories are also dishwasher proof.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and
abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages
the device.
• Never immerse the electrical device in water or any other liquid.
The device itself is not dishwasher proof.
• CAUTION! The knives in the stick and in the bowl are very sharp,
never try it yourself to undo the blades and be careful cleaning
them. Avoid all bodily contact with the blades, they can seriously
injure you.
ENVIRONMENT
This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at
the end of its life, but must be offered at a central point for the
recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol
