1. UNDERSTANDING BLOOD PRESSURE
Blood pressure readings are reported as two values (numbers).
The top value (number) is the maximum pressure the heart exerts
while beating (systolic pressure). The bottom value (number) is
the amount of pressure in the arteries between beats (diastolic
pressure).
The blood pressure values should be within the normal range
in order to prevent long-term complications due to high blood
pressure.
Blood pressure values (numbers) of less than 120/80 mmHg
are considered within the normal range. If higher values
are consistently observed, please consult your healthcare
professional.
Never use the result of your measurements to alter the drug
doses prescribed by your doctor.

2. MONITOR SET-UP
2.1. Inserting the Batteries
After you have unpacked your device, rst insert batteries.
• Remove battery cover located on the bottom of the monitor.
• Insert batteries (4× 1.5V AAA), observing the indicated
polarity.
2.2. User Selection
This advanced blood pressure monitor allows you to track blood
pressure readings for 2 individuals, independently.
Before each blood pressure measurement, select the intended
user (User 1 or User 2), as follows:
• Press and hold the“TIME” button down for at least 3 seconds.
The set user will ash for conrmation.
• Press the“MEMORY” button to change the selected user and/
or the “TIME” button to conrm.
2.3. Setting the Time and Date
If the date and/or time is incorrect, press and hold the“TIME”
button down for at least 3 seconds.
Once the user is selected, you will enter the DATE and TIME
selection mode. The year will start ashing.
To change, press the“MEMORY” button and/or the “TIME” button
to conrm.
Continue with this process until the YEAR, MONTH, DAY, HOUR
and MINUTES are selected.

Once all of the settings have been completed, press the“TIME”
button again. The date and time is briey displayed and all of the
settings have been conrmed.
3. PERFORMING A MEASUREMENT
3.1. Before the Measurement
• Several factors may inuence the blood pressure
measurement result such as exercise and caeine (coee,
tea, energy drinks). Avoid eating, drinking and all forms of
exercise directly before the measurement.
• Relax in a quiet environment for about ten minutes before the
measurement.
3.2. Positioning the Cu
• Secure the cu with the velcro in such a way that it ts rmly,
but is not too tight. Lay your arm on a at surface, such as a
table (palm upwards) so that the cu is at the same height as
your heart. The cu size is indicated on the cu.
• Sit quietly for 2 minutes before starting with the
measurement.
(medium cu size)

5
3.3. Taking a Measurement
• Ensure the correct user is selected before starting the
measurement.
• Press the“POWER” button. The cu will inate.
• Once the ination pressure is reached, the pump pressure
slowly diminishes. The cu pressure (large characters) is
displayed during the measurement.
• When the device has detected the pulse, the heart symbol
in the display will start to ash and a beep tone is audible for
every pulse beat.
• When the measurement has been concluded, a long beep
tone will sound. Your blood pressure and pulse rate will now
be displayed.
• After 150 seconds of no interaction with the device, the device
switches o automatically.
3.4. Interrupting a Measurement
If it is necessary to interrupt a blood pressure measurement for
any reason (e.g. the patient feels unwell), the “POWER” button can
be pressed at any time. The device will immediately lower the cu
pressure and stop the reading.
3.5. Irregular Heart Rate
During testing, the device will detect the heart rate and display
the “ ” symbol on the LCD screen. If an irregular heart beat is
detected, the device will display the“ ”, symbol on the LCD
screen. This is an indication of a possible arrhythmia - please
consult with your healthcare professional.

6
4. MEMORY STORAGE AND RECALL
4.1. Memory Capacity
• The blood pressure monitor automatically stores the last 120
measurement values, for two individual users.
• Once the memory capacity is reached, the oldest values are
automatically superceded.
4.2. Memory Recall: Average of Last 3 Measurements
By pressing the “MEMORY” button, the screen will display the
“MR” symbol and the average of the last three measurements.
Press the“MEMORY” button again to view the last measurement.
The last 3 measurements can be displayed in this manner with
the date and time of each measurement.
The screen will alternate between the TIME and DATE.
4.3. Deleting Measurements From Memory
In order to delete all stored readings, press and hold the
“MEMORY” button for at least 5 seconds. When the display shows
“0”, release the button.

7
4.4. Date and Time
With the device switched o, press the “TIME” button. The
current date and time will be displayed. The device switches o
automatically after 150 seconds.
5. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
5.1. Caring for Your Meter
• Use the device according to the instructions contained in
this user manual. The manufacturer will not be held liable for
damage caused by improper handling.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, humidity,
dust or direct sunlight.
• The cu contains a sensitive air-tight bubble. Handle with
care. Avoid all types of straining through twisting or buckling
of the cu and/or tubing.
• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol,
thinners or similar solvent. Dirt on the cu can be removed
carefully with a damp cloth. The cu must never be washed!
• Do not drop or shake the device or treat it roughly in any way.
• Never open the device! Opening the device will void the
manufacturer’s guarantee.
5.2. Replacing the batteries
If a battery warning appears in the display, the batteries
are almost depleted and must be replaced . When the battery
warning appears, the batteries are depleted and the device
will not work until the batteries have been replaced.
6. SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING
6.1. Error messages
If an error occurs during a measurement, the measurement is

8
discontinued and a corresponding error code is displayed.
Error Code Illustration Possible cause(s)
Err 2 Can’t detect the pulse.
Err 4
The ination time is too long, the cu
is not worn properly or the tube has
been disconnected.
Err 5 The measurement result is invalid.
Please measure again.
Err 6 There is excessive interference.
Err 7 Cu’s inner pressure is > 260 mmHg.
Err E Please return the monitor for repairing.
Hi When pressure is ≥ 260 mmHg, “Hi” is
displayed.
6.2. Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
The display remains blank when the
device is switched on, although the
batteries are in place.
• Check batteries for correct polarity
and if necessary insert correctly.
• If the display is unclear, reinsert
batteries or replace them.
The device frequently fails to measure
the blood pressure values, or the values
measured are questionable.
• Check the positioning and t of
the cu.
• Measure the blood pressure again
in a quiet environment , following
the steps outlined in section 3.
Blood pressure measured diers
from those values measured by the
doctor. Every measurement produces
a dierent value although the device
functions normally and the values
displayed are normal.
• Attempt to measure your blood
pressure at the same time of day, as
blood pressure changes during the
course of the day.
• Record the daily values and consult
your healthcare professional.
