A15amp,120Volt,60Hzcircuitwithaproperlygroundedoutletisrequired.Preferably,the
replacewillbeonadedicatedcircuitasotherappliancesonthesamecircuitmaycausethecircuit
breakertotriporthefusetoblowwhentheheaterisinoperation.Plantheinstallationtoavoidthe
useofanextensioncord.Extensioncordsarefortemporaryuseonly.Ifanextensioncordmustbe
used,itmustbeUL/CSAcertied,ratedat10A(1250W),125Vmaximumwith16AWGminimum
andconstructedoftwocurrentcarryingconductorswithground.Aheavydutyextensioncordwith

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Thisheaterisforuseon120volts.ThecordhasaplugasshownatAinFig.20.Anadapteras
shownatCisavailableforconnectingthree-bladegrounding-typeplugstotwo-slotreceptacles.
Thegreengroundinglugextendingfromtheadaptermustbeconnectedtoapermanentground
suchasaproperlygroundedoutletbox.Theadaptershouldnotbeusedifathree-slotgrounded
receptacleisavailable.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Always disconnect the appliance from the main power supply and allow it to cool before
any servicing operation.
Themotorsusedonthefanheaterandameblowerarepre-lubricatedforextendedbearinglife
andrequirenofurtherlubrication.However,periodiccleaning/vacuumingoftheappliancearound
theairintakeandexhaust,aswellasthefanheaterisrecommended.Forheavyorcontinuous
use,periodiccleaningmustbedonemorefrequently.Iftheheaterblowsalternatingcoldand
warmair,checkthefanforfreemovementandfordebrisrestrictingairow.Ifthefandoesnot
movefreely,theunitmustbeturnedoffandthefanreplacedimmediatelyinordertoprevent
furtherdamagetotheunit.
