EN PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE
APPLIANCE AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
WARNINGS
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:
− sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working
environments;
− farm houses;
− by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
− bed and breakfast type environments.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance must not be immersed.
• WARNING:The lling aperture must not be opened during use.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not use outdoors.
• Always place the appliance on a at, level surface.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while connected to the supply mains.
• Switch o and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use or before
cleaning.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use or place the appliance on a hot surface or near source of heat.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot
surface.
• Never switch on the appliance without water in the water tank.
• Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands while in use.
• Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
• Be careful not to get scalded by steam.
• Do not use the carafe if it is cracked or the handle is loose.
• Never leave the empty carafe on the warming plate when the appliance is operating,
otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.

EN BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials.
Wipe the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
It is recommended to wash the drip coee system before rst use.
Fill the water tank with cold water and follow the directions for brewing coee to make
at least two carafes of coee without using ground coee.
Switch o the coee maker and allow it to cool before relling with cold water.
BREWING COFFEE NOW
1. Place the appliance on dry, level and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
2. Open the top cover.
3. Fill the water tank with the required amount of fresh, cold water using the water
level indicator as a guide.
• The markings on the water tank window indicate level of water required to brew
the desired number of cups.
• To avoid overow, do not ll the water tank with water past the max line.
4. Place the mesh lter into the lter holder, making sure it is assembled correctly.
5. Place a 1x4 paper lter (not supplied) into the mesh lter.
6. Add the desired ground coee in the paper lter by spreading it evenly.
• It is recommended to use a level spoon of ground coee (approximately 6g) for
every cup of coee.
7. Close the top cover until a click is heard.
8. Slide the carafe into the appliance ensuring it sits correctly on the plate.
9. Plug the coee maker into the mains socket.
10. Press the power on/o button to turn on the coee maker.
• The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the appliance is brewing coee.
11. The coee will begin to ow from the lter holder after a short time.
• During brewing, you can remove the carafe from the warming plate. The brewing
process does not stop during this period and only the ow of coee from the
lter holder stops. Do not remove the carafe for longer than 30 seconds or the
coee may overow the lter holder.
• Although the coee maker has the above feature, it is not recommended to pour
coee before the cycle has completed as do this may aect the avour of the
coee.
• It is normal for the appliance to emit steam while it is brewing coee.
• The brewing process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the power on/o
button. The red indicator light will go out.
12. When the brewing process is nished, allow coee to stop dripping and then
remove the carafe to serve.
13. To keep coee warm after the brewing process has nished, place the carafe on the
warming plate.
• The appliance is designed to keep the coee warm for approximately 40 minutes
and then the appliance will be turned o automatically.
14. To turn o the coee maker, press the power on/o button.
• The indicator light will go out.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Turn o and unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Allow the appliance to cool
down before cleaning.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
• Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Clean the removable parts in warm soapy water then rinse them thoroughly.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
DESCALING
Regularly descale the appliance using a specic descaler.
1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the MAX line. (Refer to the descaler
instructions for the scale of water and descaler.)
2. Place the carafe onto the plate.
3. Plug in the appliance and then press the power on/o button.
4. After descaling, rinse out the appliance by operating the appliance using water
at least twice (two full tanks of water).

INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANTES DE SÉCURITÉ

• Faites attention à ne pas vous brûler avec la vapeur.
• N’utilisez pas la carafe si elle est ssurée ou si la poignée est lâche.

pourrait craquer sous l’eet de la chaleur.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION DE L'APPAREIL
Déballez délicatement la cafetière et retirez-en tous les éléments d’emballage.
Essuyez la cafetière avec un chion légèrement humidié. Séchez-la complètement.
Il est recommandé de laver le système d'écoulement du café avant la première
utilisation.
Remplissez le réservoir d'eau avec de l'eau froide et suivez les instructions d'infusion du
café pour infuser au moins deux carafes d'eau sans utiliser de café moulu.
Éteignez la cafetière et laissez-la refroidir avant de la remplir d'eau froide.
INFUSION DU CAFÉ
1. Placez l'appareil sur une surface sèche, plane et résistante à la chaleur, et éloignez-
la des bords.
2. Ouvrez le couvercle supérieur.
3. Remplissez le réservoir d'eau avec la quantité d'eau froide requise en vous aidant
de l'indicateur de niveau d'eau.
• Les marquages sur la jauge de niveau d'eau indiquent le niveau d'eau requis pour
infuser le nombre désiré de tasses.
• Pour éviter tout débordement, ne remplissez pas le réservoir d'eau au-delà de la
ligne maximale.
4. Placez le ltre en mailles dans le porte-ltre en veillant à ce qu'il soit correctement
assemblé.

5. Placez un ltre en papier 1x4 (non fourni) dans le ltre en mailles.
6. Ajoutez le café moulu dans le ltre en papier en le répartissant uniformément.
• Il est recommandé de verser une cuillère à ras de café moulu (environ 6 g) pour
chaque tasse de café.
7. Fermez le couvercle supérieur jusqu’à entendre un déclic.
8. Insérez la carafe dans l'appareil en veillant à la positionner correctement sur le
socle.
9. Branchez la cafetière dans une prise secteur.
10. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour mettre la cafetière en marche.
• L'indicateur d'alimentation s'allume pour indiquer que l'appareil est en train
d'infuser le café.
11. Le café commencera à s'écouler par le porte-ltre après un court moment.
• Pendant l'infusion, vous pouvez retirer la carafe du socle chauant. Le processus
d'infusion ne s'arrête pas pendant cette période et seul le ux de café du porte-
ltre s'arrête. Ne retirez pas la carafe pendant plus de 30 secondes, sinon le café
pourrait déborder du porte-ltre.
• Bien que la cafetière ore cette fonction, il n'est pas recommandé de verser le
café avant la n du cycle, car cela pourrait inuer sur la saveur du café.
• Il est normal que l'appareil génère de la vapeur pendant l'infusion du café.
• L'infusion peut être interrompue à tout moment en appuyant sur le bouton
marche/arrêt. L'indicateur d'alimentation rouge s'éteindra.
12. Lorsque le processus d'infusion est terminé, laissez le café s'arrêter de s'écouler puis
retirez la carafe pour servir le café.
13. Pour garder le café chaud après la n de l'infusion, placez la carafe sur le socle
chauant.
• L'appareil est conçu pour maintenir le café au chaud pendant environ 40 minutes,
puis l'appareil s'éteindra automatiquement.
14. Pour éteindre la cafetière, appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt.
• L'indicateur d'alimentation s'éteindra.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Éteignez et débranchez la cafetière de la prise secteur. Attendez que l’appareil ait
refroidi avant de le nettoyer.
• Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chion légèrement humide. Séchez-la
complètement.
• N’immergez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
• Lavez les pièces détachables dans de l'eau chaude savonneuse, puis rincez-les
complètement.
• N’utilisez pas de nettoyant chimique ou abrasif.
DÉTARTRAGE
Détartrez régulièrement l'appareil avec un détartrant spécique.

FR 1. Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau et le détartrant jusqu'à la ligne MAX.
(Référez-vous aux instructions du détartrant pour connaitre la proportion d'eau
et de détartrant à verser).
2. Placez la carafe sur le socle.
3. Branchez l'appareil, puis appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt.
4. Après le détartrage, rincez l'appareil en faisant fonctionner l'appareil avec de l'eau
au moins deux fois (deux réservoirs pleins).

• Dit apparaat is geschikt voor huishoudelijk gebruik en gelijksoortige
toepassingen zoals:

• Als het snoer is beschadigd, moet het worden vervangen door de fabrikant,

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
• Gebruik het apparaat niet buitenshuis.
• Gebruik het apparaat altijd op een vlak en een oppervlak.
• Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht achter wanneer de stekker in het
stopcontact zit.
• Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer niet in
gebruik of voor reiniging.
• Dompel het apparaat niet in water of een andere vloeistof.
• Gebruik of plaats het apparaat niet op een heet oppervlak of in de buurt van een
warmtebron.
• Laat het snoer niet over de rand van een tafel of aanrecht hangen en laat het niet
met hete oppervlakken in aanraking komen.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder water in het waterreservoir.
• Raak het apparaat nooit aan met natte of vochtige handen wanneer in werking.
• Laat het apparaat afkoelen alvorens het schoon te maken.
• Let op dat u zich niet aan de stoom verbrandt.
• Gebruik de kan niet als deze barsten vertoont of als het handvat los zit.
• Plaats nooit een lege kan op de warmhoudplaat wanneer het apparaat in
werking is om te verhinderen dat ze barst.

VOORDAT U HET APPARAAT VOOR DE EERSTE KEER GEBRUIKT
Haal het apparaat voorzichtig uit de verpakking en verwijder alle verpakkingsmateriaal.
Maak het apparaat schoon met een licht bevochtigde doek. Veeg vervolgens grondig
droog.
Het wordt aanbevolen om het koedruppelsysteem eerst te reinigen voordat u het
apparaat in gebruik neemt.
Vul het waterreservoir met koud water en volg de aanwijzingen voor het zetten van
koe om minstens twee kannen met alleen water, en zonder gemalen koe, te maken.
Schakel het koezetapparaat uit en laat het afkoelen voordat u het opnieuw met koud
water vult.
NU KOFFIEZETTEN
1. Plaats het apparaat op een droog, vlak en warmtebestendig oppervlak, uit de buurt
van een rand.
2. Open het bovenste deksel.
3. Vul het waterreservoir met de gewenste hoeveelheid koud en vers water, maak
hierbij gebruik van de waterpeilindicator.
• De markeringen op het kijkvenster geven het nodige waterpeil aan om het
gewenste aantal kopjes te zetten.
• Om overstroming te vermijden, vul het waterreservoir niet boven de MAX lijn.
4. Breng de permanente lter op een juiste manier aan in de lterhouder.
5. Plaats een 1x4 papieren lter (niet meegeleverd) in de permanente lter.
6. Doe de gewenste gemalen koe in de papieren lter en spreid het gelijkmatig
open.
• Het wordt aanbevolen om een vlakke lepel gemalen koe (ca. 6g) per kopje
koe te gebruiken.
7. Sluit het bovenste deksel totdat een klik wordt gehoord.
8. Schuif de kan in het apparaat totdat deze juist op de plaat staat.
9. Steek de stekker van het koezetapparaat in het stopcontact.
10. Het de aan/uit-knop om het koezetapparaat in te schakelen.

NL • Het controlelampje brandt om aan te geven dat het koezetproces is gestart.
11. De koe stroomt na korte tijd uit de lterhouder.
• U kunt de kan tijdens het koezetproces van de warmhoudplaat afhalen. Het
koezetproces wordt tijdens deze periode niet onderbroken, alleen het stromen
van de koe uit de lterhouder wordt gestopt. Verwijder de kan aldus niet
langer dan 30 seconden om het overstromen van de koe in de lterhouder te
vermijden.
• Alhoewel het koezetapparaat van bovenstaande functie is voorzien, wordt het
niet aanbevolen om reeds koe voor het beëindigen van het koezetproces te
schenken, de koesmaak zal niet zijn zoals het hoort.
• Het is normaal dat het apparaat tijdens het koezetproces stoom afgeeft.
• Druk op de aan/uit-knop om het koezetproces op elk moment te onderbreken.

12. Na het beëindigen van het koezetproces, wacht totdat de koe stopt met
druppelen en verwijder vervolgens de kan om koe te schenken.
13. Om de koe na het koezetproces warm te houden, plaats de kan op de
warmhoudplaat.
• Het apparaat is ontworpen om de koe ca. 40 minuten warm te houden, waarna
het apparaat automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld.
14. Om het koezetapparaat uit te schakelen, druk op de aan/uit-knop.
• Het controlelampje dooft.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Schakel het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Laat het apparaat
afkoelen alvorens het schoon te maken.
• Maak de buitenkant van het apparaat schoon met een licht bevochtigde doek.
Veeg vervolgens grondig droog.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit in water.
• Maak de afneembare onderdelen schoon in een warm sopje en spoel vervolgens
grondig.
• Gebruik geen schurende of chemische schoonmaakmiddelen.

Ontkalken
Ontkalk het apparaat regelmatig met gebruik van een speciek ontkalkingsmiddel.
1. Vul het waterreservoir met water en ontkalkingsmiddel tot aan de MAX lijn. (Zie
de gebruiksaanwijzing van het ontkalkingsmiddel voor de juiste hoeveelheid
water en ontkalkingsmiddel).
2. Plaats de kan op de plaat.
3. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact en druk vervolgens op de aan/uit-knop.
4. Na het ontkalken, spoel het apparaat minstens tweemaal met water voordat u
het opnieuw gebruikt (twee volle reservoirs met water).
TECHNISCHE GEGEVENS

toebehoren aan het einde van hun levensduur afzonderlijk van het huisafval worden
weggegooid.
Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie over afdanking en recycling.
Lever het apparaat in bij het inzamelpunt van uw gemeente voor recycling. Bij
sommige inzamelpunten kunt u het apparaat gratis inleveren.

ADVERTENCIAS
• Este aparato está concebido para usarse en aplicaciones domésticas y similares,
como puedan ser:
− Áreas de cocina para el personal en tiendas, ocinas y otros entornos de
trabajo.
− Casas rurales.
− Hoteles, moteles y otros entornos residenciales para uso de
la clientela.
− Lugares de hospedaje.
• Si el cable de alimentación estuviera dañado, deberá reemplazarlo el fabricante,
su servicio técnico o una persona debidamente cualicada para ello con el n de
evitar riesgos innecesarios.
• Este aparato no deberá sumergirse.
• ADVERTENCIA: La abertura de llenado no deberá abrirse durante el uso.
• Este aparato podrá ser utilizado por niños mayores de 8 años si son supervisados
o han sido instruidos en el uso apropiado y seguro del aparato y entienden los
peligros que conlleva. La limpieza y las tareas de mantenimiento asignadas al
usuario no deberán ser efectuadas por menores, salvo que tengan más de 8 años

• En lo relativo a las instrucciones de limpieza de las supercies en contacto con la

• ADVERTENCIA: Existe riesgo de lesiones en caso de no utilizar el aparato
correctamente.
• La supercie del elemento térmico está sujeta a calor residual tras el uso.
• ADVERTENCIA: Evite derramar líquidos sobre el conector.
• La cafetera no debe estar situada dentro de un armario cuando se esté utilizando.
• Las supercies accesibles del aparato pueden alcanzar una temperatura muy
elevada cuando está en funcionamiento.
MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
• No lo utilice en exteriores.
• Coloque siempre el aparato sobre una supercie plana, nivelada y estable.
• Nunca deje el aparato desatendido cuando esté conectado a la corriente.
• Apague y desenchufe el aparato de la toma de corriente cuando no lo esté
utilizando o antes de limpiarlo.
• No limpie el aparato sumergiéndolo en el agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
• No utilice o coloque el aparato sobre una supercie caliente o cerca de fuentes de
calor.
• No deje que el cable de alimentación cuelgue por el borde de una mesa o una
encimera, ni que entre en contacto con supercies calientes.
• No encienda nunca el aparato sin agua en el depósito.
• No toque el aparato con las manos mojadas o húmedas cuando está funcionando.
• Espere a que el aparato se enfríe antes de limpiarlo.
• Tenga cuidado de no quemarse con el vapor.
• No utilice la jarra si tuviera alguna sura o su asa estuviera oja.
• No deje nunca la jarra vacía sobre la placa térmica cuando el aparato esté
funcionando, ya que podría romperse.

ANTES DE USAR EL APARATO POR PRIMERA VEZ
Desembale el aparato con cuidado y retire todo el material de embalaje.
Limpie el aparato con un paño ligeramente húmedo. Séquelo bien.
Antes de usar por primera vez, se recomienda lavar el sistema de goteo del café.
Llene el depósito con agua fría y siga las instrucciones de elaboración del café para
hacer, al menos, dos jarras de café sin usar café molido.
Apague la cafetera y espere a que se enfríe antes de volver a llenarla con agua fría.
ELABORACIÓN DEL CAFÉ
1. Coloque el aparato sobre una supercie seca, nivelada, resistente al calor y alejado
de los bordes.
2. Abra la tapa superior.
3. Llene el depósito con la cantidad requerida de agua fresca usando el indicador de
nivel a modo de guía.
• Las marcas de la ventanilla del depósito de agua indican el nivel de agua
requerido para elaborar un determinado número de tazas de café.
• A n de evitar derrames, no llene el depósito de agua por encima de la línea de
nivel máximo.
4. Coloque el ltro de malla en el portaltro, procurando que esté correctamente
insertado.
5. Coloque un ltro de papel 1x4 (no incluido) en el interior del ltro de malla.
6. Añada la cantidad deseada de café molido en el ltro de papel distribuyéndolo
uniformemente.
• Se recomienda usar una cucharada rasa de café molido (6 g aprox.) por cada taza
de café.
7. Cierre la tapa superior y espere a escuchar un clic.
8. Introduzca la jarra en el aparato procurando posicionarla bien sobre la placa.
9. Enchufe la cafetera a la toma de corriente.
10. Pulse el botón de encendido/apagado para encender la cafetera.
• El indicador luminoso se iluminará para avisarle de que el aparato está
elaborando el café.
