BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Make sure the appliance is switched oī.
1. Fill the tank with water. Do not exceed the max line.
2. Close the tank cover and put the tank in the appliance.
3. A ach the funnel to the appliance.
Pos on the handle to the le of the boiler outlet, then pushing upwards and at the same
turning the handle to the right un l it locks.
4. Place a cup (not supplied) under the boiler outlet.
Make sure the opera knob is in the OFF posi on.

5. PlugintheapplianceandpressthepowerswitchtotheONposition.
TheredindicatorlightwillilluminateindicatingtheespressocoffeeͲmakeriswarmingup.
6. Pressthecoffee/steamswitchtothecoffeeposition().
Whenthegreenindicatorlightilluminates,itindicatesthattheespressocoffeeͲmakeris
readyforuse.

7. Settheoperationknobtothebrewingposition().
8. TheespressocoffeeͲmakerwillnowstartoperating.
9. Repeattheabovefor2to3cyclestoensurethatpossiblematerialresiduesarewashedoutand
willnotaffectthetasteofyourespresso.
10. Afteruse,pleaseswitchtheapplianceoffbyturningtheoperationknobtotheOFFposition
andlettheappliancecooldown.


MAKINGESPRESSO

1. Fillthewatertankwithwater.
Toavoidoverflow,makesurethewaterlevelisnotovertheMAXline.
2. Fillsteelmeshwithgroundespressopowder.
Distributetheespressopowderevenlyandpressittighttogetherusingtherounded
bottomoftheprovidedspoon.

3. Attachthemetalfunneltotheappliance.
Positionthehandletotheleftoftheboileroutlet,thenpushingupwardsandatthesame
timeturningthehandletotherightuntilitlocks.

4. Placeacupundertheboileroutlet(Itisrecommendedtoheatthecupupbeforeuse).
5. Makesurethegreenindicatorlightison(ifitisoff,waituntilitilluminates),thenturnthe
operationknobtowardsthebrewingposition( ).

Oncetherequiredquantityofespressohasbeenobtained,stoptheoperationbyturning
theoperationknobtotheOFFposition.


MAKINGCAPPUCCINO

IMPORTANT:Alwayscleansteamtubeandfrothingdeviceimmediatelyafteruse.Checkthatthe
steamtubeisnotblocked.Ifnecessaryuseaneedletoremoveanysolidmilk.
1. Pressthecoffee/steamswitchtothesteamposition().

2. Waitforthegreenindicatorlighttoilluminate.
3. Fillacupwith1/3ofmilkforeachcappuccinotobeprepared.
Themilkshouldhaverefrigeratortemperature(shouldnotbehot!).
Whenyouchoosethesizeofthecup,bearinmindthatthemilkvolumeincreasesby2to3
times.

4. Positionthecupcontainingthemilkonthecupshelf.
5. Placethesteamtubeintothemilk.
Ensurethatthefrothingdeviceisjustunderthesurfaceofthemilk.Openthesteamby
turningtheoperationknobtothesteamposition().

Warning!
Steamishotandcancauseinjuries.

6. Movethecupcontainingthemilkupanddownunderthefrothingdevicetocreatethedesired
milkfroth.
7. Whenthemilkhassufficientfoaming,turntheoperationknobtotheOFFpositiontostop
generatingsteam.
8. PourEspressointofrothedmilk(see‘MakingEspresso’above)andmixthemtogether.
9. IfmorecupsofCappuccinoarerequired,followtheinstructionsabove,allowtheapplianceto
cooldownaftereachcycle.


CLEANING
Alwaysremovethemainsplugfromthemainssocketbeforecleaningtheappliance.
Neverimmersetheapplianceinwater.
Cleantheoutsideoftheappliancewithadampcloth.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION DE L'APPAREIL
Assurez-vous que l'appareil est bien éteint.
1. Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau. Ne remplissez pas au-delà de la ligne MAX.
2. Refermez le réservoir, puis insérez-le dans l'appareil.
3. Montez ůĞƉŽƌƚĞͲĮůƚƌĞƐƵƌ l'appareil.
Po ez la poignée du côté elzessuopsiup,
vers le haut et tournez en même temps la poignée vers la droite pour verrouiller.
4. Placez une tasse (non fournie)ƐŽƵƐůĂƐŽƌƟĞĚΖĞĂƵĚƵƉŽƌƚĞͲĮůƚƌĞ．

9. Répétezl’opération2ou3foisafind’éliminertousleséventuelsrésiduspouvantaffecterlegoût
devotreexpresso.
10. Aprèsusage,éteignezl’appareilenmettantlesélecteurdefonctionsurOFF,puislaissez
l’appareilrefroidir.


PRÉPARATION D'EXPRESSO
1. Remplissez le réservoir avec une quanƟté d’eau suĸsante.
AĮn d’éviter tout risque de débordement, évitez de remplir le réservoir au-delà du trait
MAX.
2. Remplissez le Įltre en acier de café moulu à expresso.
Étalez bien le café, puis tassez-le avec le bout plat de la cuillère fournie.
3. Monter le porte-Įltre dans lΖappareil.
PosiƟonnez la poignée du côté gauche de la sorƟe de la chaudière, puis poussez le
porte-Įltre vers le haut et tournez en même temps la poignée vers la droite pour
verrouiller.
4. Placez une tasse sous la sorƟe du porte-Įltre (il est recommandé de chauīer la tasse au
préalable).
5. VériĮez que le témoin vert est allumé (sΖil est éteint, aƩendez quΖil sΖallume) puis meƩez le
sélecteur de foncƟon sur la foncƟon café ().

Aprèsavoirpassélaquantitéd’expressovoulue,éteignezl’appareilenmettantlesélecteur
defonctionsurOFF.



