Before refilling the water tank, unplug the appliance from the mains
socket.
Do not overfill the water tank.
Never fill the water tank with hot or boiling water.
Do not touch the warming plate when the appliance is in use, as this
may cause burns or scalding.

BEFORE USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER FOR THE FIRST
TIME
Make sure the coffee maker is switched off.
1. Open the water tank cover.
2. Fill the tank with fresh water. DO NOT USE COFFEE.
3. Close the cover securely in order for the brew cycle to begin.
4. Plug the appliance in and switch it on by pressing the power switch.
The indicator light on the switch will illuminate.
5. Switch the appliance offwhen all the water is in the carafe.
6. Let the appliance cool down for about 5 minutes. Repeat the process
2 or 3 more me for a perfect taste.
MAKING COFFEE
1. Place the appliance on dry, level and heat-resistant surface, away from
any edge.
2. Remove the carafe from the appliance and set aside.
3. Open the water tank cover and fill the water tank with fresh, cold
water.
The markings on the water window and carafe indicate level of

water required to brew the desired number of cups.
To avoid overflow, do not fill the reservoir past the Max line.
4. Place the removable permanent filter into the filter, making sure it is
assembled correctly.
5. Place the filter into the filter holder.
6. Add desired amount of ground coffee into the
permanent filter.
It is recommended to add 6 g (about a
teaspoon) of ground coffee for a cup of coffee.
7. Close the cover unl a click is heard.
8. Slide the carafe into the appliance ensuring it sits correctly on the
warming plate.
9. Plug the appliance into the wall socket.
10. Press the power switch to start the brewing.
The indicator light will illuminate.
When brewing is complete, you can remove the carafe from the
appliance.

To keep coffee hot, return the carafe to the warming plate a er
serving.

Theappliance is designed to keep the coffee warm for
approximately 40 minutes and then the appliance will be

12. If you want to brew more coffee, let the appliance cool down to
room temperature before you start brewing coffee again.
CAUTION: When the appliance is in use, take care to avoid burns caused
by sprays of hot steam. For safety reason, do not open the
cover during use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool before
cleaning.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry
thoroughly.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
Remove the permanent filter and discard any used coffee.
Clean the carafe, the permanent filter and the filter in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly. Refit the permanent filter and the filter.
Care should be taken to ensure that the valve situated on the bottom of
the filter holder is not damaged during cleaning.
Descale your coffee maker regularly using a specific descaler.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES
Les jets de vapeur sont brûlants, faites aenon à ne pas vous brûler
les mains et les doigts.
L'appareil ne doit en aucun cas fonconner à vide.
Laissez à l'appareil le temps de refroidir avant de le neoyer et avant
de monter des accessoires.
Débranchez l'appareil avant de remplir le réservoir.
Évitez de trop remplir le réservoir.
N'ulisez en aucun cas de l'eau chaude ou bouillante pour remplir le
réservoir.
Ne touchez pas la plaque chauffante pendant que l'appareil
fonconne, vous risqueriez de vous brûler.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION DE LA MACHINE À
CAFÉ
Assurez-vous que l'appareil est bien éteint.
1. Ouvrez le couvercle du réservoir.
2. Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau douce. NE METTEZ PAS DE CAFÉ.
3. Fermez bien le couvercle pour que le cycle puisse commencer.
4. Branchez l'appareil et meez-le en marche en appuyant sur
l'interrupteur d'alimentaon.
Le témoin lumineux du bouton s'allume.
5. Une fois toute l'eau écoulée dans la carafe, éteignez l'appareil.
6. Laissez l'appareil refroidir pendant environ 5 minutes. Répétez cee
procédure 2 ou 3 fois; le café aura meilleur goût par la suite.
PRÉPARATION DU CAFÉ
1. Placez l'appareil sur une surface plane, sèche et résistante à la chaleur.
Ne le meez pas près d'un rebord.
2. Enlevez la carafe de l'appareil et meez-la de côté.
3. Soulevez le couvercle du réservoir et remplissez le réservoir avec de
l'eau douce froide.
Les lignes sur l’indicateur de niveau et sur la carafe indiquent le
niveau d’eau requis pour le nombre de tasses correspondant.
Ne remplissez jamais le réservoir au-delà du trait Max; la carafe
risquerait de déborder.
4. Placez le filtre permanent amovible dans le filtre, en vous assurant
qu'il est monté correctement.

5. Placez le filtre dans le porte-filtre.
6. Me ez dans le filtre permanent la quan té de café
en poudre souhaitée.
Il est recommandé de me re 6 g (l’équivalent
rapuluoméfaced)éfacàerèlliucenunorivne’d
tasse.
7. Refermez le couvercle (vous devez entendre un déclic).
8. Remeez la carafe dans son emplacement; assurez-vous qu'elle est
parfaitement centrée sur la plaque chauffante.
9. Branchez l'appareil.
10.Appuyez sur l'interrupteur d'alimentaon pour démarrer l'infusion.
Le voyant lumineux s’allume.
Une fois toute l'eau écoulée, vous pouvez enlever la carafe.
Pour garder le café au chaud, remeez la carafe sur la plaque
L'appareil est conçu pour garder le café au chaud environ 40
minutes, après quoi il s'éteint automaquement.

12. Si vous souhaitez faire davantage de café, aendez que l'appareil ait
refroidi à température ambiante avant de le réuliser.

ATTENTION: Pendant que l'appareil fonctionne, faites attention à ne pas
vous brûler avec les jets de vapeur. Pour des raisons de
sécurité, n'ouvrez jamais le couvercle pendant que l'appareil
fonctionne.
ATTENTION
Vapeur brûlante !
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
Débranchez l'appareil et aendez qu'il ait refroidi avant de le neoyer.
Essuyez les surfaces extérieures avec un chiffon légèrement mouillé.
Séchez-les bien.
Ne meez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau.
N'ulisez pas des produits de neoyage chimiques ou abrasifs.
Enlevez le filtre permanent et jetez le café usagé, s'il y en a.
Neoyez la carafe, le filtre et le filtre permanent dans de l'eau chaude
savonneuse. Rincez-les et séchez-les bien. Remeez en place le filtre et
le filtre permanent.

Pendant le nettoyage, faites attention à ne pas abîmer la valve située
sous le porte-filtre.
Votre machine à café doit être détartrée régulièrement au moyen d'un
produit détartrant spécifique.
