Always allow the appliance to cool before a aching accessories and
before cleaning.
Before refilling the water tank, unplug the appliance from the mains
socket.
Do not overfill the water tank.
Never fill the water tank with hot or boiling water.
Do not touch the warming plate when the appliance is in use, as this
may cause burns or scalding.

BEFORE USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER FOR THE FIRST
TIME
Make sure the coffee maker is switched off.
1. Open the water tank cover.
2. Fill the tank with fresh water. DO NOT USE COFFEE.
3. Close the cover securely in order for the brew cycle to begin.
4. Plug the appliance in and switch it on by pressing the power switch.
The indicator light on the switch will illuminate.
5. Switch the appliance offwhen all the water is in the carafe.
6. Let the appliance cool down for about 5 minutes. Repeat the process
2 or 3 more me for a perfect taste.
MAKING COFFEE
1. Place the appliance on dry, level and heat-resistant surface, away from
any edge.
2. Remove the carafe from the appliance and set aside.
3. Open the water tank cover and fill the water tank with fresh, cold
water.
The markings on the water window and carafe indicate level of

water required to brew the desired number of cups.
To avoid overflow, do not fill the reservoir past the Max line.
4. Place the removable permanent filter into the filter, making sure it is
assembled correctly.
5. Place the filter into the filter holder.
6. Add desired amount of ground coffee into the
permanent filter.
It is recommended to add 6 g (about a
teaspoon) of ground coffee for a cup of coffee.
7. Close the cover unl a click is heard.
8. Slide the carafe into the appliance ensuring it sits correctly on the
warming plate.
9. Plug the appliance into the wall socket.
10. Press the power switch to start the brewing.
The indicator light will illuminate.
When brewing is complete, you can remove the carafe from the
appliance.

To keep coffee hot, return the carafe to the warming plate a er
serving.

Theappliance is designed to keep the coffee warm for
approximately 40 minutes and then the appliance will be

12. If you want to brew more coffee, let the appliance cool down to
room temperature before you start brewing coffee again.
CAUTION: When the appliance is in use, take care to avoid burns caused
by sprays of hot steam. For safety reason, do not open the
cover during use.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool before
cleaning.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry
thoroughly.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
Remove the permanent filter and discard any used coffee.
Clean the carafe, the permanent filter and the filter in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly. Refit the permanent filter and the filter.
Care should be taken to ensure that the valve situated on the bottom of
the filter holder is not damaged during cleaning.
Descale your coffee maker regularly using a specific descaler.
