SAFETY INFORMATION
Power Supply Unit
The Activboard 300 Pro range is powered by a
power supply unit branded Promethean and type
DT6018.
This is the only approved power supply unit. Do
not connect any other power supply unit to the
ActivBoard 300 Pro range.
The power supply unit is supplied with a suitable
PDLQVLQSXWOHDGVSHFL¿FWR\RXUFRXQWU\
The power supply unit may also be supplied with
more than one mains input lead, to accommodate
countries with more than one type of mains outlet
socket.
Only use the mains lead which is compatible with
your mains outlet socket. Do not attempt to modify
the mains lead.
If you are unsure of the electrical compatibility of
your equipment, please contact Promethean or
an authorised Promethean service agent before
attempting to connect the power supply unit to the
mains supply.
The power supply unit does not contain any user
serviceable parts and must not be opened. If you
suspect that the power supply unit is faulty, you
should contact an authorised Promethean service
agent to obtain a replacement.
Inspect the power supply unit for physical damage
to the casing before use. If damage is apparent,
take care to avoid contact with any potentially live
parts. Disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains supply at the wall socket and contact an
authorised Promethean service agent for advice.
The ActivBoard does not contain any user
serviceable parts. You should not attempt, under
any circumstances, to gain access to internal
parts of the unit.
If the ActivBoard is suspected to be faulty or
damaged contact Promethean or an authorised
Promethean service agent for advice.

Storage Temperature Range: -20°C to +70°C
Humidity (non condensing) 0% to 90%

WELCOME
SAFETY INFORMATION
Power Supply Unit
The ActivBoard 100 and 300 series are powered,
when operated in wireless mode, by auniversal
input power supply unit, branded Promethean and
type FW7650L/05.
This is the only approved power supply unit. Do
not connect any other power supply unit to the
ActivBoard 100 and 300 series.

interchangeable mains plugwhich is clipped into
the main body. Where an interchangeable plug
is not available for your country, an adapter is
supplied with asuitable mains lead.
The power supply unit may be supplied with more
than one interchangeable plug/adapter and mains
leads. This is to accommodate countries with
more than one type ofmains outlet socket.
Only use the interchangeable plugor adapter plus
mains lead which is compatible with your mains outlet
socket. Do not attempt to modify the mains lead.
Ifyou are unsure ofthe electrical compatibility of
your equipment, please contact Promethean or
an authorised Promethean service agent before
attemptingto connect the power supply unit to the
mains supply.
The power supply unit does not contain any user

INSTALLATION
Preparation Using ActivManager
On Windows systems, clickon the Activmanager icon in the systemtray, and scroll up to select
Control Panel.
Note: Ifyou select Quit, then Activmanager will close and you will have to restart the program.

Connect ActivHub to computer.

Place the ActivHub in holder and put the holder in an elevated position, with the antennaraised.
The path between the ActivHub and ActivBoard should not be obstructed.
Wireless Registration
In ActivManager, select Register Wireless ActivBoard.
An image is displayed on the board.

This puts the board into Registration Mode.
After afewseconds an image with atarget is displayed.
Clickthe pen once in the centre ofthe displayed target.
When the board accepts your click, the image colour will change.
Ifthe colour does not change when you clickon the target, try and clickagain until it does.
The target is displayed two more times, in different positions. You have to clickwith the
pen at each position - that is, three times in all.
When registration is successful an image is displayed, illustratingaconnection with the
ActivHub.
Ifregistration fails, adifferent graphic is displayed.
