the M28 Harness, this will help ensure its optimal use and performance.

in conjunction with the vehicles seat belt system for the user’s safety.

proper location on the seat.
Do not use the M28 Harness for any other purpose than described, warranty is

4. . Adjusting the Webbing
To Tighten Straps
Simply pull the tail-end of
the webbing straps.
The Adjuster will lock the
webbing into position.
To Extend Straps
To release the webbing, you
need to squeeze the Adjuster
whilst pulling on the lower
webbing strap.
‘Press to Release Buckle’
Code: M28
A simple press to release buckle
which can be used by the passenger.
‘Steel Safety Buckle’
Code: M28SB
When fitted to our harnesses as an alternative to
the standard ‘quick release’ buckle.
It helps prevent those passengers with inquisitive
fingers, challenging behaviour or learning
difficulties from releasing the harness buckle.
1. How to Use:
The M28 harness can be used on some high-backed booster seats with
height-adjustable headrests, which extend to grow with the child.
Some of our customers have found that they work very well together
for those who require postural support or extra security.
How to fit:
1. Holding the two Aluminium Bar Buckles [b]
(attached to the upper section of the Vertical
Fixing Straps) place the back pad of the harness
against the front of the seat back & place the
Fixing Straps up & over the seat back.
2. Pass the tail-ends of the two lower sections of the
Vertical Fixing Straps [a] (on either side of the
under-strap [f]), down through the gap between
the seat back & seat cushion.
Nb. The Under-strap should remain lying on the
seat cushion.
3. Now feed the tail-ends of the Fixing straps up
through the Aluminium Bar Buckles (see fig.1) &
pull down to tighten around the seat back as
securely as possible. Each tail end should then be
passed through the Tri-glide [c] to prevent the
Fixing Straps from loosening during transit.
4. Position the Back Pad & Body Harness on the
seat so that the waist belt will be in line with the
waist when the passenger sits down.
5. With the harness unfastened at the waist belt sit
the passenger on the under-strap in the most
upright position possible & bring their arms
through the shoulder straps [d].
6. Now bring the under-strap [f] up between the legs
and loop it back onto the waist belt over the
buckle [h].
7. Connect the waist belt buckle to fasten the
harness. Position the buckle centrally at waist
level on the passenger.
8. Adjust all straps to fit tightly yet comfortably by
pulling the tail-ends of strapping through the
Adjuster Buckles [i].
9. Ensure that the three Comfort Pads are in
position over the Adjuster Buckles [i] on the
Shoulder & Under Straps.
10. Now position the vehicles seat belt on the
passenger in the normal way.
2. Maintenance:
The M28 Harness can be washed at 40˚C, do not tumble dry.
Daily maintenance before use:
Inspect the harness for damage and wear.
Ensure fixing strap buckles are intact and in working order, including webbing
adjusters. If damage or wear are present, remove the harness from service
and arrange for repair or replacement.
•The Lap strap should be comfortably tight.
Adjustments are made at the lap strap
adjuster buckle.
•Set the crotch strap so that the main
buckle is located on the lower part of the
abdomen at the lap position. The Crotch
strap should have no slack but for comfort
do not overtighten.
•Shoulder straps should be adjusted so as
to allow space to place your flat hand
inside the straps. Adjustments are made
using both shoulder strap adjuster buckles.
•Your harness is not a safety belt, always
use the vehicle seatbelt.
Never leave passengers unattended, when using the M28 Harness or any
other harness system.
