K431 FITTING KIT INSTRUCTIONS
These fitting instructions contain information specific for your vehicle. They
should be read in conjunction with your crossbar instructions.
Kit Contains
1 x Instructions
4 x Red Plastic Knobs with nuts
4 x Plastic Internal Blocks
4 x Grub Screws
1 x Allen Key 3mm
4 x Ada tor Plates
Remove arts from box & check
Contact your Prorack dealer if any arts are missing or damaged
Items you will require that are not included:
1 x Ta e measure

•Remove crossbar and fitting kit parts
from the packaging
•Follow steps to 3 of crossbar assembly
instructions
•Remove clamp block by pressing it
backwards

•Select plastic internal block
(from fitting kit) and insert it
into foot
•Repeat for all four legs

•Fit rubber pad (from fitting kit) to foot as per
diagram in step .5.
•Press pad firmly onto foot by putting thumb
pressure on area where pad spigots engage.
•Make sure that pads are fitted correctly on
nominated front and rear crossbars.
•Note: The rubber pad shape may vary to the shape
of pads on the photos.

Open vehicle fix point covers as shown
•Refer to the underside of the pad for the part
number
•Letters refer to the pad part numbers
•(A) Refers to Pad -04-224
(B) Refers to Pad -04-225

•
Select four M6 x 70mm grub screws and screw
them into the centre of the adaptor plates until it
bottoms out on roof.
•Use 3mm Allen Key
•Do not over tighten.
•Repeat for all four mounting positions.
•Adjust crossbars length to suit distance between
grub screws. (Refer to crossbar instructions for
adjustment details)
•Place crossbars on roof.
•Make sure that grub screw passes through the hole
in internal block on all four legs.
•Select red plastic knob and tighten crossbar
to grub screw.
•In the fully tight position knob should sit in
the same position as shown on the picture
above to allow cover to close.
•Repeat for all four legs.

•Install adapter plate into each fixed point.
•Put a spring washer on each M5 button head
bolt
•Secure adaptor plate using M5 button head bolts
and 3mm Allen Key supplied
