OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MODEL CD-4800 ULTRASONIC CLEANER
PSI’s CD-4800 Ultrasonic cleaner is designed for busy offices and labs. It’s large, 45 oz. tank can
hold multiple pairs of glasses. An advanced digital control system offers five cycle times (90, 180,
280, 380 and 480 seconds) for enhanced efficiency. Push button controls and large digital time
readout make it easy to use. A strong transducer provides 42,000 Hz of wave frequency at 60 watts
for great cleaning.
WARNING: Never attempt to operate this machine before you have thoroughly read and understand
all the instructions. Failure to comply can result in fire, electric shock or serious personal injury.
Keep this users manual on hand and review it frequently to ensure continued safe operation.
NOTE: Manufacturer assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages caused by negligence
or ignorance of precautions in this manual.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Unplugtheunitbeforelling.Donotexceedthe“MAX”mark.
• Makesureyourpowersourcecorrespondstothespecicationsoftheunit.Neveroperatethis
machine with the wrong power source.
• Donotplacethemachineinahotareaornearammablematerials.
• Ifanytypeofliquidormaterialgetsintotheinnerpartoftheunit,IMMEDIATELYturnoffand
unplug the unit. Do not turn the power on again until the unit has been checked by a qualified
service representative.
• Donottrytodisassembleanypartoftheunitexceptthepartsthatareexplainedinthismanual.
Doing so will void all warranties.
• Unplugthepowercordwhennotinuseforalongperiodoftime.
• Donotimmersetheunitinwatertoavoidtheriskofelectrocution.
• Donottouchthepowersocketwithwethands.
• Neveroperatethisunitifthecordorplugaredamaged.Ifitisnotworkingproperly,orhasbeen
dropped into water or damaged, discontinue use.
• Theunitshouldneverbeleftunattendedwhenpluggedin.
• Donotllthetankwithanyabrasiveorcorrosivechemicals.Usewaterandmilddetergentonly
like PSI’s Ultra Clean cleaning solution (part #2124G).

Operation Instructions
1. Open the lid and fill the stainless steel tank with water. For better cleaning, use PSI’s Ultra Clean
solution (Part #2124G)
WARNING: running without water may damage unit!
2. Placeitemtobecleanedintothewater.Thewaterlevelwiththeitemsubmergedshouldnot
exceedthe“MAX”markorbelessthanthe“MIN”mark.
3. Plug the unit in. 180s is displayed automatically in the digital display.
4. Pressthe“SET”buttontochooseacycletime.Thereare5timestochoosefrom(inseconds);
180S, 280S, 380S, 480S and 90S. 180S is the most common cycle time.
5. Pressthe“ON”buttontostartcleaning.Theredindicatorlightwillcomeon.Youwillheara
slight buzz while the unit is working.
6. Whenthecycletimehaselapsed“000”willbeonthedisplayandtheunitwillautomatically
stop and the red indicator light will turn off.
Ifyouwanttostoptheunitduringacleaningcycle,pressthe“OFF”button.Pressthe“ON”
button to resume the cycle.
7. When finished cleaning, unplug the unit and open the lid and take the item out. Remove the
water form the stainless steel tank and wipe dry with a towel.

1. Unplug and empty the unit after using.
Do not keep water in the tank for an extended period of time.
2. Wipe the tank and the unit with a dry towel.
3. Keep in a cool and dry place.
