To familiarize you with your new Pureit home water purifier, the picture below shows you all the different components of the Pureit
purifier. The name of different components are shown alongside the image. This will help you better understand the instructions in the
rest of this booklet.

Open the box. Remove the thermocol packing.
Please carefully read and follow these simple steps for setting up your Pureit
home water purifier.
Lift the bottom half (recognized by its large Transparent Chamber).

Next to the Transparent Chamber in the box, you will find the other half of the
purifier, packed in a plastic cover. Unpack the plastic cover. You will now find
two chambers one on top of the other - the Top Chamber & the Batching
Chamber below it.
Setting up Pureit
Keep the Transparent Chamber on a flat table and then remove the transparent
cling film.
Note : Please ensure that your hands are clean and germ free.
DO NOT touch the inside walls of the Transparent Chamber with
your hands.

Put the Top Lid back on the Top Chamber.
The Top Chamber has a Top Lid. Remove the Top Lid from Top Chamber.
Inside the Top Chamber you will find a loose plastic object which is called the
'Bellow Pump'.
Note : Take the Bellow Pump out of the Top Chamber. Store the
Bellow Pump at a safe place as you may need it over time while
cleaning the Activated Carbon Trap.

Remove the cover on the Top Lid. You will see the white Microfibre Mesh inside.
Pour water into the Microfibre Mesh until the Top Chamber is full. You can see
the water level by looking through the transparent window in the Top Lid.
Note: Please ensure that you fill the Top Chamber to the brim.

Now lift the Top Chamber and the Batching Chamber together. Place it on the
Transparent Chamber. Please ensure that the protruding tube in the Batching
Chamber fits snugly into the opening of the Transparent Chamber.

Lift the (empty) Batching Chamber and place it on the Transparent Chamber.
Now lift the (empty) Top Chamber and place it on the Batching Chamber. To
start using, fill water in the Top Chamber now.
Drain away the first batch of water that collects in the Transparent
Chamber. Now refill Top Chamber. Water that collects in the Transparent
Chamber is now ready for drinking
You may have also purchased a pedestal for your Pureit. In case you want to
place Pureit on the pedestal follow these steps :
Place pedestal on a flat table such that the curved surface is facing the
bottom.
Note: Before installing pedestal make sure there is no water inside Pureit, else it
will be heavy to lift and water may spill.
Now place the (empty) Transparent Chamber of Pureit on top of the pedestal such
that the legs below Transparent Chamber fit snugly inside the pedestal frame.

Note : Drain away the first batch of water that collects in the
Transparent Chamber through the tap.
Once you have filled the Top Chamber with water (9 liters); it will take about an
hour for this water to get purified and collect in the Transparent Chamber.
Now refill the Top Chamber. Water that gets collected now in the Transparent
Chamber is ready for drinking.
Your Pureit is now ready for use.
Note: When you fill the purifier for the first time, you will see less water in the
Transparent Chamber as compared to the 9 liters of water you poured in the Top
Chamber. However, from second filling cycle onwards, full 9 liters of water will
collect in the Transparent Chamber.
