Assembly Instructions

Thank you for purchasing from Pxmalion.
GETTING STARTED
Before you set up your Pxmalion 3D printer Core I3, remember that:
1. Please check all the components according to the packing lists following. Send us an email to
[e-mail] if you have any issue on it.
2. Several parts (e.g. X- Y- Z- motors, X- Y- sliders, nozzle) had been preassembled at the Pxmalion factory.
Please check whether the screws and nuts on them were loosed during transportation and tighten them.

X-Axis Assembly
ATTENTIONS:
1. Pay attention to the installation orientation of the X motion motor.
2. The open-ended belt (the longer one) will be used here.
3. The bearing on X motion slider is loose. So please tighten the screws after the guiding pin and
timing belt are installed properly.
4. The nozzle had been preassembled at the Pxmalion factory. Please check it was loosed during
transportation and tighten them.

Required components for X-Axis assembly

X-Axis Step 1: X Motion System Assembly
2 M4*25 screws and 2 lock
nuts in Screw-X T-Nuts
Please make sure the
guiding pins are inserted
between motor seat and
idler seat in place. T-Nuts
The bearing on X motion
slider is loose. Please tighten
the 4 M3 screws on slider
after adjusting the slider
properly. T-Nuts
Tighten the pulley and note
the direction of installation.

X-Axis Step 2: X Slider, Belt (with set screw), Limit Switch Assembly
After tightening M4*25, the
assembly will show as above.
Install the X axis limit switch.
Pay attention to the direction of
limit switch, which is highly possible
to be mistaken.
Install the extruder with 2
M3*5 screws in Screw-X.
Finish.

X-Axis Step 3: Timing belt Assembly on X-Axis
After tightening the timing belts, please cut
the extra belts and cable ties. Install the rest of
2 M4 lock nuts on the M4*25 screws to
prevent the timing belts .
Tighten the timing belts:
1. Preassemble 2 cable ties near M4*25 screws.
2. Grip the extruder to the right with your right hand and
tighten the timing belts with the left hand.
3. Lock the cable ties. The upper side and lower side are in
parallel. Finally, faster the cable ties. You will get a bounced-
back feeling while touching it.

The completed X-Axis Assembly is shown as below.
Friendly Tips：
1. Make sure that the shorter guiding pins are inserted in place correctly.
2. Do not mistake the direction of limit switch.
3. The bearing is in a condition of pre-tightening. Please tighten the 4 M3 screws on slider
after adjusting the slider properly.

Y-Axis Assembly
ATTENTION:
1. Use the longer aluminum profiles (400mm mounts) in this part.
2. The open-ended belt (the shorter one) will be used here.

Y-Axis Step 1: Y Motion System Assembly
2 M3*16 screws and 2 M3 nuts to
secure Y-axis motor & support
Pay attention to the direction.
Secure the pulley to the shaft of motor.
Pay attention to the orientation of the
pulley and keep distance between it and
the motor housing.

Y-Axis Step 2: Y motion system frame and foot pads Assembly
Insert the 2 400mm mounts into the
inner holes of injection molded part.

mounts by using M4*8 button head screw and T-nut.
