Ultrasound consists of high-frequency sound waves which
are perceived by flies, but inaudible to humans.

The ultrasound waves fan out uni-directionally from the
FLY REPELLER HOME, like fluorescent light. Hard substances
(walls, ceilings, furniture, glass, etc.) promote better spreading
out of the sound waves, as they bounce off these surfaces,
whereas soft materials (cardboard, curtains, carpeting, etc.)
absorb the sound waves.
Remember, when installing the F LY REPELLER HOME, that
ultrasound waves do not penetrate walls (brick, plaster, etc.),
or wooden room dividers, glass, plasterboard false ceilings or
other solid materials. Hang the FLY REPELLER HOME inside
the space to be protected, and avoid blocking the flow of
the ultrasound waves from the front part of the device.

FLY REPELLER HOME is the result of more than 25 years of
research by our R&D team. External accredited laboratories
guarantee a high degree of effectiveness of INSonuerit 2.0
technology.

this, its performance is constant and its duration unlimited.

FAQs
Can the INSonuerit technology in this FLY REPELLER
HOME aect: babies, pregnant women, children, adults
or pets?
No. The INSonuerit technology used in the RADARCAN®
devices cause no harm to people or pets.
I have heard that ultrasound is ineective at chasing
away ies. Is this true?
Please bear in mind that ultrasound is simply a term used to
indicate that acoustic emissions of a frequency higher than
20KHz (human hearing limit) are being used.
The use of this technology should be backed up by studies,
tests and certification that attest to the efficiency of the
technology and the chosen ultrasound frequency, as well
as the strength and the emission pattern. Our products are,
thus, tested and certified in highly-respected laboratories
and universities.
NOT ALL ANTI-FLY devices that emit ultrasound waves are

EFFECTIVE. Each insect must be fought against with specific
appropriate technology.
Does it work against all types of ies?
Its efficiency has been tested and certified to work on the
common fly (Musca domestica).
What is the lifespan of the FLY REPELLER HOME?
The lifespan is unlimited.
Does it need rells?
It needs no refills.
Where should I connect the FLY REPELLER HOME?
The ideal place to plug it in is in an outlet 3 1/2 ft. (1 m)
to 7 ft. (2 m) from the floor, free from obstacles. It is only
recommended for inside spaces. Do not plug it into an outlet
facing an open window or door, as the ultrasound waves will
aim toward the outdoors, rather than protecting the interior
space.
Is it necessary to leave it on all the time?
It works more efficiently when it runs 24 hours a day. The

electrical consumption is quite low - only 1 W maximum.
Can I hang more than one FLY REPELLER HOME in the
same space?
Yes. The effect of the FLY REPELLER HOME will be
strengthened and be able to reach the maximum possible
surface area.
Can I plug in another RADARCAN® product in the same
area of the house?
Yes. Our products are totally compatible.
The ies don’t go away! Why?
Flies fly in a random way. Leave a window or door open, so
that they can get out. Also:
1. Check to be sure the indicator light is on.
2. Be sure the front part of the FLY REPELLER HOME, where
the sound waves are emitted, is not obstructed.
3. Be sure to leave it running continuously 24 hours a day.
What if the indicator light is not working?
Check to see if it comes on if you plug the FLY REPELLER

HOME into a different outlet. If you confirm that it still does
not come on, get in contact with the RADARCAN®technical
department.

Care and Maintenance
Do not put the device in water or any other liquid.
Cleaning.
If you need to clean the FLY REPELLER HOME, use only a soft
dry cloth, with no abrasive products.
Do not expose the FLY REPELLER HOME to extreme
temperatures.
It is recommended not to use it in places with temperatures
exceeding 122 °F (50 °C).
No rells.
The FLY REPELLER HOME works without replacement parts,
making it more economical to use.
Correct disposal of the FLY REPELLER HOME.
Properly dispose of the device by depositing it in the
corresponding container for its correct collection and
recycling.
RADARCAN® has a commitment to the care and protection

of the environment. The FLY REPELLER HOME contains
electronic components and it is necessary to dispose of
the device separately from the containers where normal
domestic waste is disposed of.
Consult the applicable local regulations agreement on
our website or get in touch with your local health and
environmental protection authorities for information on
your recycling options.
Warranty and extension of warranty
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Register the FLY REPELLER HOME at: warranty.radarcan.com
and you will obtain a five-year warranty for the product
since date of purchase.

• RADARCAN® does not warranty a 100% effective shield
against the spread of diseases that the animal could be
infected.
• Your RADARCAN® product is guaranteed against defects
in materials and manufacture for the period of time
established by legislation in the country and/or state
of sale of the product (see warranty.radarcan.com), or
for five years if it is registered, from the purchase date.
If any defect in the product caused by its manufacture
or defective materials appears while under the warranty.
• RADARCAN® will only be responsible for the repair or
replacement if valid proof of purchase (e.g. paid receipt)
is presented which demonstrates that the day of the
service claim is within the validity period of the warranty.
• The warranty does not cover those products and/
or parts of products that are subjected to wear and
tear that can be considered material that naturally
deteriorates over time.

• The warranty is not valid if the defect is due to damage
caused by incorrect use of the product or improper
maintenance, or if it has been repaired or modified by
personnel not authorized by RADARCAN®.
• For good performance of the product, the user needs to
strictly follow the instructions given in the user’s manual,
and to avoid any action or use described as undesirable
or contrary to the warnings in said user manual.
